I needed a 20' truck. Pretty sure I got an 18'. I didnt have time to complain. I used it anyway because I was committed to moving my airplane. I had to clamp the ramp to hold the tailwheel outside the back of the truck

The truck was covered in scratches and dents. The interior was dirty and smelled bad. The truck could not drive in a straight line and the brakes took far too much effort to engage. I've driven plenty of truck of all sizes and this was one of the worst. The location ws in a questionable part of town and I was harrassed by several migrants asking to "help" me move.

It took so long checking in. There were a lot of people standing around in the parking lot. A few(4) came up to my son, ( he was a little distance away getting into the truck. I didn't know what they said but they started walking over toward me I was very uncomfortable I got into my car , locked my doors and waited for my son to follow him.

The language barrier was a problem. I speak English and the employee I dealt with, barely spoke English. I will not rent from this location again. Too many rough looking people laying around in the parking lot and sitting on the curb of this business.

People standing around outside looking for day work and general appearance of location made it concerning to drop off Attendant spoke little English, did not seem to understand at first I was returning equipment, asked no questions other than about fuel, took the key and did nothing to verify dolly and blankets were returned. She was done with me and turned to another customer. No verification of receipt so I took pictures at location for my records. Lack of questions about equipment t failed to reveal Truck began throwing "Check tire pressure monitoring system" error on second day. Vent fan blew intermittent unless on air conditioning.

Staff was rude. Truck was dirty and smelled horrible. I had to spray lysol in cargo area prior to loading my items. I had reserved a furniture cart but one was not available at the time I picked up the truck. The female clerk then blamed customers for stealing and not returning them. Horrible place, store was absolutely disgusting. I don’t understand how you allow this location to be a representative of your company.

I would just like to say that it was a torrential downpour of rain when I got to the gas station location, which is also the pick up for the U-Haul which is convenient because if you need to get gas and when I walked through the door I was already soaked from being outside in the rain for less than 30 seconds, and the ladies were both super nice gave me some towels to wipe off my face, and after I completed, my transaction gave me a free poncho. I will say it’s just a general policy with U-Haul as a client. It would make a lot of sense to fill up the gas tank so that when you return it, you know you just have to fill it up rather than trying to guess at the amount so you’re not going over or under whatever it was left at. I know that’s a bit of a way to get more money from the client if they don’t fill it exactly to the level it was at and up charge for this. And in my case I had to get gas before I left to get to where I was going because it only had a quarter of a tank. So I got soaked even more before I could leave for my trip.

The staff was unfamiliar with basic processes and lack customer service. I was told I couldn't rent moving pads because Inhad already paid for my truck. Imagine having a business that provides products to customers. Then you tell customers they can't pay you for the products you have in your store. Not only were the staff not knowledgeable about their own policies, but they were also very rude. It's not a good move to try and make petty power plays, be rude, and hang up multiple times on your customers. After all of this the blankets were wet and smelled like mildew. And guess what? They figures out how to charge me for moving pads

The woman that checked me out was rude. The truck's engine was skipping and running rough although the location has a repair garage. Also, the truck had over 167,000 miles, which didn't instill confidence, especially since it was running rough. The box was in ok shape.

Manager was not interested all all in speaking with me. She would not even inspect the truck and then made me move the truck to the back after already parked. She couldn’t have been more unfriendly. A shame, because, up until now always had descent experience. Should not be a u-haul rep. Does not represent company in a positive light.

My reservation was cancelled after 5pm the day prior to my pick-up. The store had a slightly larger truck but did not give me first priority and rented it to a different customer. My rental was moved 40 minutes from me. The app did not allow me to get the truck & then the store could not process it. I had to call customer service and provide phone numbers of two people to verify my identity. The app asked for my lease agreement, passport or employment verification. That is ridiculous!! If those things were bedded this needed to be required while reserving on-line. Not while standing in the parking lot of some strange area. The truck’s check engine light was on and the engine was running hot! I have never had such a horrible experience at u-haul!!

About 40 for foreign worker gathered outside looking for day work. Uhaul agent was not present. I was told “the guy will be here at 12:00 to check the truck out”. I dropped it off at 9:00 am, still never got an email receipt. Several customers roaming in the parking lot looking for their rental truck, we’re trying their key in every truck. Dirty, uninviying. I would have felt safer in Harlem. Would never recommend anyone use this location. Uhaul shame on you for letting them provide this service for you.

We were lucky to get a Thailand. We needed it at the last minute and the girl I talked to on the phone was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable and patient. She worked with us and located a place that we could rent a uhaul after we couldn’t find anything to rent. She gets 5 stars for her professionalism and effort to help us. She was courteous, professional and kind. We will use uhaul again because of her. Thank you for such a great employee.

There had to be 40 or so people just hanging out in the parking lot. We did not feel safe there. I’m not sure if they are day labors or not. One started to harass my wife. I will not be renting from this location again. This wasn’t the location I chose as uhaul changed it, if that happens the next time I will cancel my reservation before going back to this one.
