The return location charged me an extra day after I called and notified them that I would not be able to get the truck back by the 9am deadline. I had workers coming to fix the gas hot water heater at my new home and was given a time line of 8am to 1pm for their arrival and I had to be home to grant them access inside. The return site is 20 minutes from my home (40min. minimum round trip) as I had to Uber back. I had the truck returned before noon, got charged $59.00 for extra day… The truck itself worked great but the cab had such a strong mildew smell I got a sinus infection, the manager noticed it immediately when he got into the truck even though I had driven there with the windows down and left them down after parking it in the lot. I have rented with U-haul in the past and never had an issue. The extra charge and the smell may have be what causes me to never use U-hail again.

Charlie told me he did not not see them when he cleaned the back of the truck and then changed his story to I don't clean the truck after each use which I can believe because the truck was filthy when I picked it up. Also made an excuse that homeless people sheep in the trucks. He appeared disheveled when speaking with him and apologized for being loopy. Also tried to sell me a sail boat the deal sounded suspicious he even sent a pic from his personal phone.

CHRISTIAN CThe only complaint I have is that the original place selected online was a reservation only location. Supposedly a text message was sent to me directing me to the 1336 Alternate Hwy 19 location but I never received it. In the meantime, I struggled with the original drop off point who told me I could drop it off at the storage place on Mile Stretch at the intersection of Grand Ave. That person was totally rude just saying she doesn't accept trailers at her location. We called customer service and was directed to return it to the 1336 Alt 19 location. I'm not very pleased with the drop-off process and would alert individuals to call customer service and not move until better direction on the drop off point is confirmed.

DAREDA Mthe truck was stuck in tow haul, ABS warning, light and check engine light were on. While driving the AC shut off. No AC in the state of Florida in the summertime was not a pleasant experience.
