I arrived to pick up the vehicle I had requested a week prior to rent. When I arrive the app tells me I must go inside which defeats the purpose of doing a self pick up choice when you request the vehicle. I go inside the clerk takes over 20 minutes to even assign the vehicle only to ask me how many were out there and that he assigned a van and I immediately tell him I had asked for the truck. He had already completed the transaction and acted like it was all set and he would have to re do it again. He says vehicle are same price but that wasn't the point I needed the truck for it's sizing. He didn't seem like he wanted to re do everything so I just took the van since I was now late to where I needed to be and he was very slow and seemed to be worried about who ever he had on the line in a phone call as he was wearing his head phones the whole time talking. To drop it off was also annoying same guy on the phone again doesn't even know what Is going on and just sitting there actin as if I the customer is bother him.Jismelly M.

This was a very horrible experience. My van was not ready when I went to go pick it up. It was covered in snow and ice. I went to go drive it to my destination and it started to rain. I tried to turn on the windshield wipers and they would not work. I had to stop at a Dunkin Donuts to ask them for got water to melt the ice. They still did not work. I had to drive to my Aunt's house to borrow her ice sraper. After several minutes, I finally got the ice off and the wipers finally worked. Then, the transmission started to slip. When I stepped on the gas, the van would not move right away. This lasted my entire trip. When I went to return the van, I was told that I was being charged for TWO sessions because I brought the van back late. I had already called and asked to bring the van at a later time and I was told they would be no problem. This was a very aggravating experience and I could not wait to bring the van back. This was my very first experience with UHall, I am extremely unhappy and furthermore, I really am very unhappy with my final bill and the amount. I asked to leave my vehicle in the spot that I was taking the truck from and I was not allowed. I was disappointed in the response and had to find parking on the neighborhood which was difficult in light of the recent blizzard. There were used first aid items in the cup holder on the dash.Victor S.

The person who was in charge of the rental was trying to convince us that we need to fill "a lot of gas" at his gas station bc there wasn't enough in the tank at the return. Which was false. Then he said that he need to re-calculate and sure enough, there was no gas needed. Dishonest.LARISA M.

Truck was dirty inside but was newer and everything worked great. This location was hard because it was a busy convenience store. Had to wait behind quite a few customers for check in/out. The parking lot was very busy, hard to park when returning.Jennifer G.
After entering all the checkin information online several days before, it appeared the associate at this location re-entered all the same info again, which prolonged the check in process. Otherwise, the vehicle was in good condition and ready for my use. Additionally, this location is a gas station, so refilling the tank upon return was very convenient.Alfred E.

The truck I reserved was not available so I had to take a bigger truck which was more expensive. The truck was not clean. The rental place doesn't know what they are doing. Didn't explain anything about the vehicle or the rental agreement. Not a good representative for U-Haul. You probably want to do more due diligence on your rental agents. Never again for me!Robert C.

We reserved a van and learned, upon arrival, that there were no vans available. As we were on a tight schedule, we had to settle for a 10-foot truck instead - much harder to drive, bigger than we needed, worse gas mileage. The truck itself wasn't "dirty", but it certainly wasn't sanitized as I'd expect during a pandemic - coins left on the dashboard, crumbs on seats, etc. The "low tire pressure" light came on half way through our trip. Thankfully, it went away when we turned the truck off and back on again. The staff at the rental location were very friendly, but the location itself was simply a neighborhood gas station selling everything from t-shirts to hookahs. I don't know how well they're equipped to clean and service the equipment. And the rental process was incredibly disjointed - input everything online ahead of time, but then had to do it again at the location. A little squeamish about sharing license and credit card info. in an app on my phone that seemed to be available to the attendant as well. All in all, the rental served our purposes, but I won't be renting from a non-corporate UHaul location again. Too much confusion!!!ANNA C.

I was very unsatisfied with the rental of the van! It had people's trash in it from whoever rented it before me. I called and reported it to U-Haul immediately! If I was not set back 45 minutes due to the filing online of how to obtain the vehicle then I would have refused that vehicle! I am not going to pay a $25 charge for cleaning someone else's trash! I'm still waiting for someone to get back in touch with me regarding the complaint that I had filed when I picked up the vehicle of the cleanliness. The van was filthy gog hair in the cab, The back had broken glass, leaves, and the mat was rolled back and cardboard was left. Ok the grounds around the place was covered in trash. The truck had not been cleaned so I did it myself both cab & box. The service was ok but it felt like they didn't want to bother w the rental. There was no clearly marked way to pick up or drop off without going into the store. The store was clean why can't they pick up outside. Very bad presentation. Thinking I'll go to Penske next time. The 29.99 rent ended up at 87$. Anyways I got the job done. Try to get this place cleaned up pleaseLeonard B.
The van I rented was missing a windshield wiper and was not clean. The seats were covered in cat hair and there was dirt and leaves all over the back bay. Will not be going there again. Also as far as U-Haul itself... I reported that the van was not acceptably clean during the return process and was charged a $25 cleaning fee! Awful experience.Tyler G.

There was not the vehicle I ordered. I had to take a small truck as the van was not there. I had ordered a van. When I brought the vehicle back, the clerk did not check the vehicle or issue me a receipt of return. I waited a full 24 hours for a receipt.Kathleen V.
