Sherry GI use U-haul yearly. This is by far the best run location I have experienced. The customer service went above and beyond even in the middle of a very busy pickup rush. Definitely use this location if you have the choice.
Adam LI would rent from Ron and Carolyn anytime! Equipment was ready to go and Ron even warmed it up for me and made sure the mirrors got adjusted for someone vertically challenged. Kuddos to Stony Hill Hardware and Uhaul!

Bill RMust be the 12th time I've rented from Stony Hill Hardware in the last four or five years. Always a pleasant experience, trucks are ready, clean, and convenient. Best in the area in my experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Gregory PI stood at the counter with three people staring at me. Nobody asked "Can I help you." After an awkward thirty seconds staring, I finally asked "Do you work here or are you just customers in line?" One man said, "No we live here." I tried to hand him the paperwork and he made a joke and said "We don't need paperwork besides most people just steal the trucks and resell them in California. Just give me the keys." He continued to check the vehicle and dismissed me. "You'll get your paperwork in email." So I left with no receipt....no nothing! I told him that I replenished the gas tank to half tank, where it was when I picked the truck up in Fishkill. I only drove 50 miles. My gas cost was $30 at the pump. Replenished. When I got home, I received an email explaining that I was charged an additional $30 for gas by uhaul?!!!! Not right at all. Terrible service. 50 mile drive cost me $50 in gas. One dollar per mile?????? No way unless there was a hole in the gas tank? I am requesting a refund of the gas charged upon my return. I filled it to where it was and should not have incurred thr extra charge. This hardware store put their hand right in my pocket and went for my wallet.👎
REV. RThe box truck we rented had a leak and our boxes got wet. The owner didn't seem to care and send to contact U-haul. Will not be dealing with them again.
