The brick and mortar experience was excellent. We had tried earlier to use the UHaul app for a truck at Stowaway storage and found that the app did not work and the customer service agent never picked up.

Power steering pump was making a noise and when I shit it off, there was a loud noise each time. I didn’t get a chance to use the UHaul because my help to load didn’t show up. I paid for 25 miles and only used 15 but yet was charged the same amount minus 3 cents. I tried to explain all of this when I called in but the guy acted busy and wouldn’t give me the time of day. Worst customer experience ever!!!!

Guy behind counter was grumpy and not friendly. Truck was old and one time the power assist on the brakes didn't work. Fortunately the truck was empty and there was plenty of stopping area.

The manager at this location was very passive aggressive lol, he was upset because prior to receiving your vehicles keys, they do an “authorization payment” on your debit / credit card. We were splitting the bill with another, so were debating on which card to use... The manager was impatient, and he just didn’t have the “happy to help” tone of voice / attitude. It also was extremely hot inside the store itself, and very disorganized as things were all over the ground, falling off shelves, and just looked pretty run down in general. My experience with uhaul itself was decent, yet the manager / location on North Atherton in State college, PA I would not recommend.

The truck smelled like a mix of urine and burnt hair. I had to go to two rental locations, because the reservation was changed, but I wasn’t notified via phone or email. The guy working the counter at the second rental place had an attitude with me, even though it was his company’s fault I was late. He seemed especially short when I had to leave my car there for half an hour, which again, is something I wouldn’t have had to do, but my plans fell through when I had to drive to the other side of town to get a truck! Next time I’m getting a Penske.

The windshield was a bit dirty and the wipers were not able to remove the substance on the windshield. This made it very difficult to drive safely at night. You should make sure the windshield is very clean before renting the truck.

Very friendly, and went out of their way to have a truck available for us after a huge error in our reservation was made by the representative.

The truck's steering pulled to the right so you had to keep the steering wheel pointed left to drive straight. On top of that, the truck had extremely vague steering - you had to turn the steering wheel over 90 degrees in either direction before you even started to turn. I was nervous driving because with that vague steering, I knew that I would be unable to suddenly swerve to avoid an obstacle in the road if I needed to take evasive action.

The roof leaked and even with tarps some of our stuff got wet. One of the floor D rings was missing so we had to improvise and rearange load. Took some extra time. The back of my truck was covered in brake fluid from braking system on front of trailer. Must have a small leak that sprays under presure. We looked and couldnt find anything obvious. Otherwise trailer did its job. Nick at pickup was nice and got me on road quickly.

Reimbursement for fuel when you fill it over the amount that was previously filled in the truck. Less picky salesman when it comes to cleanliness of the truck. Literally was only a little bit more dusty than it was before I got it when I returned it and he said it was “dirty as all can be.”

I've rented from this location several times, they are always fast and courteous. The pricing and return process were explained thoroughly.

staff seemed stuck up and not pleasant. trailer had a light burned out. this gentlemen was very nice but said a mechanic was in another town that is about 50 min away an wasn't allowed to fix himself. u haul has a rule that you have to put the equipment back in the same spot or they charge you 20 dollars... my spot was on the side of the road near a telephone pole. a dirt spot no the less that i had to make sure i put in the same patch. ridiculous in my eyes.

Create a parking lot so that customers can park a vehicle during their rental. Its VERY inconvienent for a customer to find a ride to this location and to be picked up after the rental.

Service personnel carried on with miscellaneous paperwork and casual conversation for quite a few minutes while I stood in front of them at counter waiting to pick up my rental. Awkward and unprofessional

The truck was fine, adequate for a local move. We rented 12 furniture pads and a furniture dolly. When we picked up, they only had 6 furniture pads and no dolly. Finding out about this the morning of the move was stressful and made packing more difficult. The attendant had a confrontational attitude.
