Inform the customer when there is a change in reservation. I went to the previously scheduled location only to find out that my truck wasn't there because you extended the previous customers rental. I only found out when I showed up at the place to pick it up. 20 minutes after I finally got a call from customer service that I could get one at another station several miles away. I was offered an upgrade to a 15' truck and extra miles for free, but this miscommunication is asinine and needs to get better.Anthony S.

No one answered the phone at any point during the rental. There are many locations. The one recommended was 20 minutes from my old and new place so the mileage to pick up and return added a lot onto my charges. But again, no one would answer phone for me to ask to change the locationKathryn N.

I requested the Bragg Blvd. location because I knew that they opened early. The location you changed my pickup point was farther away and I could not pick up the trailer when I wanted to start my trip. Getting the notice the day before was a problem.Patrick F.

I dont think you can improve on exellence. The gentleman that was renting me the trailer was friendly and polite. Very quick on getting me in and out and not wasting time but not rushing . I rented a truck in my name for someone else to drive (the other person also gave license). This other person went over the time I had agreed to, after he had gone back to shop to get permission to be turned in later that evening. The appproval was done without my knowledge and I was not notified. The other driver ask for later that evening at 6:00 p.m.. He turned it in at 6:45 p.m. I was call the next morning to put gas at quarter of tank of gas, but I was still charged that third day. This could be improved by notifing all parties involved, if any changes occur.WANDA S.

I was charged twice for the rental, and was told it would take 5 business days to return to my account. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! Then, I was supposed to have the truck for two days, and was only allowed one. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! Customer outraged at the poor service. Don't play with people's banking accounts and say "I'm sorry"ANNE W.
Stewarts Tire and Auto was helpful with the rental process, but any positive experience ended there. The back of the truck was not cleaned out well. To a quick glance, it looked clean, but I swept it out when I got home and it had substantial dirt and lint accumulated. The cab of the truck had crumbs and pet hair all over the floor. The truck had a maintenance sticker from Stewarts showing it was serviced the 2nd week of June 2014. When I started the truck, the radiator light came on. I brought this up to the manager who sent a mechanic out to check the issue. The mechanic confirmed the light was on and got a radiator fluid jug to add more coolant. When he was adding the fluid I noticed he was adding water rather than radiator fluid. I asked the mechanic about adding water instead of coolant. He said that you could not add straight coolant to which I replied that you should not add straight water either. I also noted that the jug he was using to add the water was for 50/50 pre-mixed coolant/water. When he finished adding the water, the level was still low so the mechanic went and got another jug, this time with coolant (or some mixture). He over-filled the reservoir and told me it should be good. I asked what he thought the problem was (since the truck had just been serviced by them) and he basically told me there was no way for them to know what might have been done to/with the truck to cause the problem. Being on a tight timeline for our move, I accepted the corrective actions as making the truck serviceable for use. Our first day on the road (about 250 miles) with the truck was fine. The next morning I looked over the truck and noted that the radiator fluid was reading low in the reservoir. Fortunately, I had brought along a remaining jug of 50/50 premix coolant I had in my garage. I added it to the reservoir which brought it up to the cold fill line. That day we were going about 450 miles. After about 200 miles, the radiator light came on. The temperature guage was reading fine so we pulled off at the next exit. I purchased a gallon of 50/50 premixed coolant, waited for the engine to cool and added the fluid. With the warning light now off, we got back on the road and after about another 125 miles, the light came on again. We pulled off, let the radiator cool and added coolant again. This allowed us to get to our stop without the light coming on. The next morning, I checked the coolant level and it was low. I filled it to the cold fill line which used up the remainder of the gallon purchased the day prior. The problem persisted throughout our trip and was resolved each time by adding more radiator fluid. We brought the issue to the attention of the dealer when we returned the truck. They pulled it from service for maintenance to address the problem. The overall experience with Stewarts Tire and Auto was sub-standard. I would not recommend renting long distance use Uhaul equipment from them.DAVID H.
