Fast and friendly staff great help
antonio orozcoHonestly, the only thing I would suggest is that you include (in the pricing) for rentals 15 ft. Or more, a few (3-5) straps/blankets/boxes. And 1 handtruck. Business would instantly increase. Thank you for dealing with our local, neighborhood ACE. In this instance, it was in Cresco. And the experience was courteous, professional and seamless😊

ANTHONY ESSIEMThis comment is not about the facility. The new requirements for dropping off after hours are unnecessary. In essence I'm doing the facilities job. The threat of charging a $20 "convenience fee" for not doing your job has me using other truck rental service going forward (and I used to rent a lot from U-Haul.....check my history).
Christopher ViersThe roof of the truck was covered with a thick layer of snow and ice which I noticed only after being on the road with a fully loaded truck. I had no means to clean it off. The ice was over an inch thick If a piece had broken off it would have gone through the window of a following vehicle. The check engine light was also on and the oil pressure gauge was reading high. I called uhaul road service the next day to report this issue. It was a little discerning to see the engine light on for the entire duration of my trip from PA to AZ.
Douglas GarbiniI had a bad experience when I first rented the truck as I was supposed to pick up at one location and was sent 30 minutes away. I was also supposed to pick up at 7 AM and the time was rescheduled for 9. Thank goodness for the representative that was at the hardware store, she was an absolute delight, and wonderful to deal with. Whatever she’s getting paid, it’s not enough because she truly made my experience pleasant.

Luis VasquezMy pick up location was changed 3 times, when I arrived to the location there was no truck for me, even dough I got call day before it will be waiting for me. Waste of time, in Friday afternoon traffic to get to the last location and the track was finally there. I was promised to get $50 refund but we’ll see.

When my pick up location was originally confirmed I called and spoke to two different representatives and they both gave me the wrong pick up location which cost me a lot of extra time and driving mileage to go find the truck on Saturday morning. This could’ve been easily avoided.The lady at the neighborhood U-Haul was very nice but was unable to help me because she was not included in the information even though I made the reservation through her.

Gregory MillerEntire experience was great! Trailer was solid, in good condition, no issues with hook up or towing. Only suggestion woukd be to design/install some way of locking trailer to vehicle and locking rear drop ramp.
DOUGLAS GARBINIThey need improvement with the rental equipment parking area is a small area for all the equipment and ad the end is a cliff with no protection equipment easy will felt to the cliff or embankment and get destroyed., No light over night for late night return ., and no explanation about all this could happen or warning. “No good”

Norbert SzekeresAlthough Steeles Ace Hardware did provide me with what I ordered, there was some issues previous to picking up the vehicle. They original reservation (26901779) was at Pocono Auto Sevice Center, who wasn't able to provide and reassigned my reservation to Steeles Ace Hardware. This took place the day before pick up and only because I called to confirm my reservation and would've went to the wrong location the morning of. I called Steeles Ace Hardware to confirm and they couldn't say if they would have a vehicle for me because it wasn't back. So this went on right to the last moment and caused much anxiety.
David WhippleTruck was not given a proper pre trip inspection if the tires. 21 miles into the 127 mile trip a ln inside passenger rear tire blew to shradded state and then 3 hours until a road service truck arrived complaining uhaul gave him wrong directions of our locale. My nephew who drove the truck is an experienced trucker for years and could not believe thus truck was put in our hands and the jeopardy of risk to lives and property it caused. I'm also dissatisfied at that I rented my truck 3 weeks in advance of a 16 foot truck 4 miles away to vet and the day before my trip it was changed to a 20 foot truck 16 miles completely too big for my needs and an additional cost for topping the gas off using a 20 foot truck now for 110 miles but I was told take the free upgrade or lose it there is no other truck available in the size I needed! It wasn't a free upgrade to me who. Lives on disabilty and handicapped and 2 family members lost work at their trucking jobs the next day cuz this trip had added hours of wasted time waiting for road help to finally arrive then proceeding the hour and half drive to my destination and moving things out of the in the dark!!? Not to mention the jeopardy of safety in this unsafe truck we left Steeles Hardware in Cresco!

DONALD TREIERInaccurate gas reading when truck was picked up even have a picture of gas/mileage at start of rental. Was charged $54 to put 6 gallons of gas in it when I only drove it 30 miles and I had put gas in it before returning.

RALPH READThe service is excellent especially the lady that helped me over the telephone from the east Stroudsburg location. She was able to locate the vehicle I needed and referred me to the Cresco location to pick up my vehicle. She was very helpful. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. The telephone number at that store is 570-424-5253. She went out of her way to help me.
JOE REDESKYNot helpful at all: had to go in and wait for clerk to get mileage. Tried the app but there was bad coverage. Clerk was young and unprofessional - cursed snd used foul language and no mask or wipes. Would not want to return
KRISTINA KNABECould not find the key drop box at first. There are two parking lots, so either post a sign in the lot without the box or add a second box.
