The building had broken windows, looked deserted and wasn’t even open at time of drop off. It was the middle of the day, not late, super early, just middle of the day. Frustrating when the U-Haul website said I did not exist and spent an hour on the phone just for them to say to put the keys in the box and not worry about it.
Cole SPut up a cash deposit was told I would receive it upon rental completion - lie. Upon returning trailer was told deposit would be a check - horseshit - that I would receive in 5 business days - total bullshit Now up to 3 weeks before I receive a refund check for a deposit i used CASH for - what a load of garbage

James BFrustrated first experience with U-Haul. The service is extremely poor at this location. Took an hour for them to enter my order and load blankets and dolly. He never told me when he had loaded the stuff. I had to go open the back door and check. VERY disappointed with Standridge location. I dropped off the vehicle and trailer at the AC storage location in Ada, Ok. The service was extremely friendly and smooth.

Jeremy CHOWEVER, I felt harassed and hounded by the phone support which had nothing to do with Standridge!! Standridge told us to estimate when we might pick it up so I estimated. We did not arrive at that time, it was an estimate! We were called TWICE by uhaul and told us they were canceling our reservation because we were late - it was an estimate. They were RUDE on the phone I felt like!!!!

Harold DEverything went well and I will be using U-Haul again for trailer or truck.
Paul SHave always been pleased with prior rentals, until this time. Attendant hooked up trailer, sent me on my way. Get home to move trailer to another vehicle, lights weeent hooked up, and no cable to hook up lights. Back to rental location. Get cable, now drivers side brake and turn signal doesn’t work. I’m told that it has to be in my vehicle. I knew better, but now was behind schedule, so took the trailer as is. Prior to return, I tested my truck wiring, and lo and behold, it tested good

MICHAEL RSo glad to have U-Haul location in our small town, but the mobile check-in was difficult. Perhaps my phone caused some of the problem, but people should not expect "live" help at the location. I talked to reps 3 times and we finally completed the check-in, 45 minutes later. The average person might want to get assistance from a friend.
Steve FThey didn’t explain that a one way trip would cost me almost $200 for one day for a car hauler and then when it was already too late I end up getting stuck with the trailer for 2 days that I didn’t even need it for because I couldn’t get it back to them because no one at 1-800-uhaul could even help me change the reservation! Terrible experience! I need a refund for the extra 2 days I got stuck with that trailer!
Christopher DThe passenger side rear inside tire was flat…I caught it before I left for the move but it should have been checked before I picked up the truck. I used roadside service which was very quick and easy to replace the tire.
CARROLL WRemove counter pick up from Buddy’s website. Also the guy they called on the phone was somewhat rude with me. The ladies were trying.

TERRY MI was very disappointed how low the fuel level was on the equipment. Furthermore, the equipment had squeaky belts and shorty after leaving, the check engine light came. I had to ask for the moving pads I had purchased with my rental. The staff was friendly, but attention to detail was lacking. I realized later than the fuel gauge on my equipment was malfunctioning, which led to me overfilling the equipment with fuel prior to return. This cost me over $100.
reagan sOnly thing… was too expensive… I don’t understand charging a man per day for truck then by mile as well on top of that… should be one flat fee per day period..how 6 days cost me over $700 dollars when you include truck rental,mileage fees ,insurance fees etc plus the gas I used moving plus put back in after I was done.. I could’ve probably paid someone less to move for me. Lesson learned I reckon. Note I only traveled a total of 184 miles, U-haul charged me 29.95 per day plus 1.09 per mile ? In my opinion they really took it to me on this one! It’s not the guys at Standrige fault however , it’s all on how U-haul operates.

Mia BThe cargo bay had dirt,soup powder, stick, leafs, plastic,and plastic bag. Had to clean before I could start loading. The rest of the truck was fine. Next time I will check the cargo bay before I leave.

Wendy LCondition of the tire was marginal. At some point the tread seperated from an area of the tire about the size of a drink coaster. This wasn't discovered until I arrived in Phoenix, about 1100 miles later. A closer inspection would give me more confidence in U-Haul. I'd recommend to a friend as it is the only provider for many miles, however I would caution them to pay close attention to the condition of the equipment.
Charles SHad booked a reservation a month prior in OKC for a 10' truck and a ramp trailer. Never received a confirmation the day prior to pick-up like I was told. After calling U-Haul on my way from Dallas to OKC, I was told that they didn't have either truck or trailer in OKC for Saturday 5/22. Directed me to pick up a 20' truck and trailer in Paul's Valley instead. Seems like U-Haul should be able to KEEP a reservation made a month in advance!
