I told him I didn't need insurance that I did everytime online the day before. He then said but u have to sign this paper and he checked off insurance 15.00 and never told me. He then charged me not .89ce t a km but 1.43 cent a km instead. I said I was not paying 4 insurance because I already had insurance (I am an insurance agent) I know that I was already covered with my own policy. I was mad. He told his son to take it off my bill but when we where discussing it his son put it threw anyway. Nice scam they got going on at this location. I said I wasn't leaving until he fixed the bill and he said, " put up a chair we are open til 10pm, you can sit there all day". Wow, I will NEVER recommend my clients or anyone else to uhaul again. This location needs to be investigated. I drove 16km with a 19.99 truck and my bill was almost 70.00!!!! I had it for 2hrs. What a scam!SHERRIL F.

The vehicle we were given didn't have work a/c blowing out the main vents, only through the feet a front strip of vents at the front for the window. Thankfully, a cooler day, but then when the driver was alone, unable to reach to the passenger side and manually roll it downJOSHUA W.

The location and your agents should be clearer on the check-in process. What should have been 10 mins was 40 mins. Your agent told me I had to go to this location, which was different than I booked, when they were open. They were confused as the key was in the lock box. Instead of telling me to check in using my phone. They retrieved the key from the lock box and rebooked me manually. Every time someone came in to buy smokes or lotto I waited. The drop of centre employee was rude, ignorant and careless, he made me to wait at the place for more than 30min for the drop off, he made me to walk back and forth to truck for bo reasons which was his job to do. This place is horrible and i wont recommend anybody to drop off or rent ugaul from this place.Zacharias J.

Service trying to deal with drop off was quite below average, there was an issue with drop off between the system and the online portal but the employees continued to make us wait and helping other customers without resolve. However The pickup was great and the employee then was fantastic.MELHEM D.
First of all they were busy on the phone and made me wait 10 min at least until they helped me. Then the lady gave a me a key for a wrong truck and did not do a walk through. When I returned back same scenario repeated over again and made me wait 15-20 minutes while they were busy with each other and talking on the phone. After I gave them the truck they told me â€œoh you had a wrong truckâ€ how Would I know if I took the wrong truck!? Nobody did a walk through or checked the truck at the first place. They over charged me then gave $10 discount. Made me wait 30 minutes at the end. Extremely bad customer service and rude. Never again from this location.Abdul H.

The owner, kept me waiting for a long time while he talked on the phone. He said he was busy doing other things and was reluctant to let me have the truck at 8 AM and wanted me to wait until 9 AM. Same long wait that had nothing to do with the rental while he did other things when returned. Unpleasant person!Craig E.

There was a misunderstanding on what time the vehicle was to be returned. I had my girlfriend call to verify the return time. Then I was told by store owner she never called and he called me a liar. Not impressedALFREDCHARLES M.
Store clerks (different one in the morning and another at afternoon drop off) didnt wear masks. Also didn't seem to know how to process payment at drop off time and so we had issues saying the truck hadn't been returned on time.Perry W.

Overall this location had friendly staff that were helpful and explained the rental process well. Pick up was fairly easy - 15 mins to get the keys. Drop off was even quicker and all was good with mileage calculation and gas refill confirmation. I would use them again.Jan M.
Have everything ready. It took a long time to get going when we picked up. In the usual location where we rent from uhaul, it would have been pulled up tobthe entrance, cleaned off from snow, etc. The blankets would have been in a sealed bag in the back of the truck vs us having to get them and carry them out ourselves from a corner of the store in a barely held together clear garbage bag full of holes. It just felt very lackadaisical and unprofessional.Angela H.

Actually clean the vehicle. There were used masks in the vehicle. They also claimed i owed 25$ in fuel. They tried to lie about how much was used. Fortunately I took pictures. I will never, ever recommend going there and will be warning friends, family and anyone who listens to stay far away from there.Elijah H.

The truck had used gloves inside of it. It had half eaten crackers inside of it. I'm assuming if this stuff wasn't taken out, that it wasn't even wiped down. With COVID-19, this is seriously unacceptable. They gave me the truck under half, l drove up the road, hardly moved the gas gauge, and they claimed that the gas was at half when l got it and that l had to pay them $15 for gas. Then, the quote they gave me was $20 less than they charged me. It also took 15 minutes to pick up the truck after our reservation. I'm not sure why this was such a poor experience, but it was seriously the worst money l've spent. We drove 15 miles and experienced so much hassle. I'd like to talk to someone about this. The people at the pickup point turned me away and said they cant help.Sarah W.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered , paid for a trolly which wasn't supplied . Had to go into the store and reschedule making me late even though I had already booked . I was quoted 70 dollars then was charged $190 dollars for taking the truck for 2.5 hours and a 70 dollar fuelling charge !!!! ( 25km round trip) completely unacceptableTrevor M.

Reservation and pickup process was frustrating. I selected a north London location online, but the final booking was changed to a location on the east end of town some 20minutes away from me. I called to change the location to somewhere closer, but then had to go through the registration process again with the cashier. She didn't seem to know how to work the online system and it took another 20 minutes to finally get the keys. I received the wrong dolly, and the cost was also inexplicably greater than my original booking by around $10. Frustrating start to a busy day.Stephen W.
Drop off was difficult to locate as no information was given on where at the address the drop off was. Person receiving the key had no idea what to do. The drop off was recorded a day late so I was charged another day. All my days were included in original contract but was charged for 4 more.Ken H.

my online booking didnt go through to their systems, I paid for 3 hours and got there 30 minutes early, Still didnt get my truck for an hour and a half as the store owners were confused .. and was still expected to bring it back leaving me a mere 1.5 hours to move and 3 hours paid. The truck was super dirty and the worst customer service ever from the agent, I had in my life I returned the truck with no used after 2 hrs 4 hours trying to get my right back with Uhaul customer service on the phone with no return back or any interest to make me feel better, it is along bad story yesterday and a very bad experience with the agent and the company, I promise I will share my experience with everyone via all kinds of social media if I didn't get my right within 48 hrsramy A.

Vehicle had left over garbage (mcdonalds trash and empty water bottle) At return of vehicle, Customer service rep/convenience store attendant was yelling and speaking to the other attendant in a foreign language. Not a big deal if I had told him what I was there for and he did not reply when I told him; this is when he began yelling at his coworker.... not for 3 minutes until i asked if he was going to help me did he tell me he was on his cell phone. At check in the attendant didnt let me read any of the contract info.. and push the accept button on my behalf. Not until I signed was I involved in reviewing the contractual facts (milage/gas level etc). To be fair everything was accurate so his integrity is there but perhaps his process following skills were lacking. Overall not a bad experience.. but certainly far from great.Geoffrey G.

I booked online, ordered online and payed online. But I waited for 45 mins to pickup my keys when I arrive on time. The shop assistant tried to help me but the manager is really unprofessional. He didn't know the password for his system and waisted me more than half an hour even without any apologize. The truck is good but the user experience is not a good memory.Jin S.
I chose the best listed location for my trip based on the options that said they had a 10 foot moving van. My confirmation sent me to a less convenient location because the one I wanted is no longer operating- yet still on your site. When I went to pay the agent noticed I ordered a dolly yet the don't have one which meant I had to go to another spot to get it. All I was offered for my inconvenience and time wasted was the mileage to pick it up. This was funny to me since when I asked the booking agent about where they chose to originally send me being out of my way that I could not receive a few free Kms for it. This was also far from a satisfying offer as it does nothing to account for my time and effort to go out of my way to pick up an item that should've been there. I asked for a $10 voucher for a rental I need near the end of May but was refused. I guess I will have to look for an alternative for my move. Also the 10 foot moving van doesn't or didn't have a ramp (which is y I chose it over the 9 foot regular van so that was a waste).Jason S.

First of all we were there for 1 hr 10 min. The person waiting on us did not seem to know what he was doing and was not concerned at all that we were waiting so long. When we finally got the rental they did not have a snow brush or scrapper for me to brush off the window. When we returned the van the person waiting on us kept leaving us and going to wait on other customers took us 20 minutes to return it. All in all not a good experience at all.linda B.
