There were no clear instructions on how to use the 24/7 pickup. I filled out all the info ahead of time then had to re-enter everything when we tried to pick up. We had to call customer assistance and they gave us instructions on how to pick up but accidentally altered our reservation so we were again unable to complete everything to pick up our truck. The entire pick up process ended up taking us over 30 minutes.Joshua C.

Windshield was very dirty. Had to stop at nearby truckstop to wash it before I could safely see against the sun. The "check engine" warning light was on when I picked up the truck. Otherwise the truck was clean inside the cab and the compartment.Tor N.

It was very difficult to get in contact with the location to confirm the rental availability. My original reservation was changed to Chico, as a UHaul rep called and said the Orland location didn't have the length I was looking for. After driving by the location and seeing three of them, I kept calling and calling until finally someone called me back.Andrew M.

Got charged for 161 miles, truck was driven 61 miles. Good thing i took screen shots on my phone of the depart mileage and return mileage. They also charged me for half a tank of fuel. I used 1 quarter tank. Fuel charge was $29 a gallon, REALLY! At the end off the day i was reimbursed for the 100 miles but the fuel i had to eat the cost. Crapy situation for a loyal customer. I have experienced this at any ohter Uhaul location. Very disappointed and will never go back to this location again.JUAN C.
Horrible location there was no U-Haul advertisements whatsoever the Location was very dirty doesn't look like it's been open for years we tried calling the number and it was disconnected then we waited on hold on the U-Haul customer service line for over an hour never had help finally got through to a different location to help us with the return I would not recommend dropping anything off at this location.The camera that's facing the drop key box had the wires cut on itJustin B.

Update the hours of this location. I was told it opened at 7:00am and it doesn't it opens at 9:00am. I waited for an hour and a half until someone showed up, put me very behind in what I had to get done that day.LAURA N.

Store was closed at drop off. Mileage discrepancy was later adjusted. Fuel, however is still a problem. A system that requires photos for contract records should make copies of those photos available to both parties. This rental has been very upsetting at both pickup and drop off ...very unnecessarily!! The truck was excellent, but the process has been horrible.RJ R.
Was rude and kind of mean said if i didnt clean truck id get charged told him i got it filthy all he said was i shouldnt have got a dirty truck it was dirty and out of gas i made everyone aware of it immediately so i had to sweep out and clean up someone else mess total b.s and put gas in a truck that was freaking empty paper said it had to have 1/4 tank or id get charged called was told id get credit for it but idk its not on my card yet i dont have it to give away shouldnt have to pay for gas that wasnt in it to begin with!!!!!!!!! Firstly the man could not get it to work so had to call main office I paid with card then they charged deposit which was not due because I paid with card which in turn cost me over $100.00 dollars in late cost because my payments did not go through due to this over charge will not be renting through uhaul againlauie R.
It took more than one hour to get the trailer I reserved. It was no fault of the employee at this location, it was the corporate person on the phone that had the trailer listed in a different location. I felt bad for the employee, the customer waiting behind me and it took me that much longer to complete my task!!Amante B.

Having to drive from Willits to Chico and then to Orland to get an available truck that was booked for Willits is a bit extreme. Then we were only given 100 miles. Which driving back to Willits to pick up our household and then back to Chico exceeded those miles. The Chico drop-off was having difficulties with processing that information. Later he just took off all the miles total. He said the problem was on the dispatch side and they should of removed the miles. Frustrating overall until it was resolved.Jack W.

I was disappointed all around with the pickup. Didn't have my planned truck, So I had to pick it up on the way, about two hours away from where I needed it, and had to get a smaller tuck, which had no ramp... and there was none of the equipment I ordered. I ended up having to get that at the original location where I was getting the truck in the first place... luckily someone didn't get their truck there and I was able to switch trucks.Samuel H.
You Guys made me drive 45 minutes away from the location that I reserved the trailer at. After you guys made me drive 45 MINUTES OUT OF MY WAY the guy at the shop I was renting from did not have a hitch to rent so I had to drive to AutoZone and BUY A HITCH with my own money and a adapter for the break lights. This was absolutely unprofessional in every sense of the word because it should have been explicitly stated on my confirmation that this place does not offer a hitch or adapter to rent. You U-Haul place I originally was trying to rent from in Chico has these essential items for us to rent. I had to spend $40 out of my pocket for these two items after driving a full hour out of my way on the day I was supposed to move because you guys could not figure out that the trailer I had reserved was not at the Chico location. This whole experience was absolute bullcrap and I wish I could give NEGATIVE reviews because this service was TERRIBLE.Scott H.

My inicial rental was from Valero a gas station on Esplanade in Chico CA for Saturday the 27th, to make sure I had everything in order I called the station on the 26th to go over the rental. Surprise, apparently they did not have a truck for the following day. Although my reservation was made 5 days in advance by phone and went once in person to change pick up time because they did not put the requested time. So that is how I ended up force to pick up from Orland a town far away from where I live. I did tell the woman from Valero on the phone that she should not represent Uhaul. Please make a note and don't let this happen to anybody again. Moving is already stressful and even more when people don't care to let you know that you do not have a rental, then they should not be in bussiness.marie M.

This wasn't necessarily sportsman's fault...when booking my uhaul, the lady on the phone (not associated with sportsman's) said they closed at 9pm and they were the only one close to town that had my size uhaul I needed. We confirmed over the phone that it was good to go. I get to sportsman's at 7:15pm (after driving 3 hours) to see the store was closed. Luckily, we saw someone inside and he let us in and closed out our reservation. He was not happy that we came after closing and said they have never closed at 9pm. He didn't check my dad's ID (he wasn't on my reservation) and I didn't pick a drop off location (it was auto assigned to me the next morning in an email) I was very lucky to catch him when we did. Otherwise that would have been an extra 1.5 hours driving to pick it up since it was out of the way....Olivia G.

The trailer was in good working order and available for pickup but the store closed a little early which caused a little bit of a problem but overall Uhaul came through and rectified the situation and I am 100% satisfied customer and would rent again from them.Erik S.
