The merchant had hidden fee's and tried to make me pay extra, they didn't want to honor the price or rate that i was quoted over the phone. The door didn't close all the way, they didn't want to let me return the truck the same night. it was just bad. I would never go there again and i didn't feel comfortable giving my ID or even standing in the store. Not cool at all.

Assumed everything was good as the person I dealt with said I was good to go. Decided to check tire pressure, which is supposed to be inflated to 80psi. Tire pressure ranged from 87-93. Glad I checked it. Also, there was a warning light on, of which I've informed them. The person who did the paperwork, and entered my information, even though I did it online (and it said congratulations, you just cut your wait time in half!) It took a solid half hour for this guy to figure out what he was doing, he asked me for names, phone numbers, and had me repeat them twice. Couldn't figure out why it was happening. And here's my gripe about borderline fraudulent practices going on. When I turned on the vehicle, there was exactly half a tank of gas. Exactly on the line. When I dropped it off at a different location, they asked me where the gas was when I got it. I told them exactly half a tank. They looked it up and said that this gas station officially said it was at 4/5ths full. So it was my honest word against a lie, apparently padding their numbers. I have no documentation but I'll recommend to future customers, me not being one of them, to document via video to have the employee handing you the keys to have a look at it, incase you're accused of lying when you drop it off at the reurn location. No proof, no dice. They get extra gas on your dime. When I arfued, the guy got frustrated, put up his hands and said, "look. I'm not the bad guy here" after I left to go to the gas station, my ride spoke to him about it, and suggested they were padding their numbers. He ignored him and abruptly started talking to someone else. A fifth of a tank at $3.05 a gallon in a gas guzzler hurts the wallet for someone already short on money. Document everything.

Make sure when a customer make reservations & pay ahead of time that the guarantee of the vehicle is available!! Your customer WILL NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL 20 MINUTES AWAY OR ANY DISTANT TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE!! When arrive to the location “SPEEDIE GAS” the employee was ruled refuse to speak with the orginal customer by phone and charged her daughter credit card when the customer had already paid in full!! UHAUL was the worst customer service I’ve experienced in over 20 years!! This location should make sure the vehicles are on a Full tank of fuel and clean the back of the vehicle from top storage to lower part torear to door area.

Despite having reservations, it took about 40 minutes to get the truck after I presented the reservation to the clerk at the gas station. He kept saying he was having computer problems and it was U Haul's fault. He was more concerned about waiting on his cell phone business customers. Finally he decided to disregard the reservation and treat the rental as a "walk-in" and complete the paperwork. I asked him why he didn't do that a half hour earlier and he replied, "because you had a reservation". WTF! I had people/movers on the clock that I had to pay, who were waiting for me to get the truck. Upon returning the truck, I had to wait nearly twenty minutes for him to conduct his cell phone business before he could get to me. Also, when I made the reservation, I selected the Speedy Gas on N. Broadway. When I checked my reservation on line, I saw that U Haul entered the wrong location, I had to call again and have it corrected. I will never use your company again, nor will I refer anyone to U Haul.
