The service was very accommodating and the equipment was readily available. The only thing that could be better planned is the text to look over the vehicle before leaving the grounds. The text I received was after I was on the road for about 10 miles.

Van was dirty in passenger compartment ad "Change Oil" light was constantly on. there are 2 rental stores within a 1/3 mile of each other in North Kingstown, RI but none in Narragansett or South Kingstown.

Vehicle needs shocks bounced around the cab of the truck for a hundred miles. When I first arrived at the store he was a gentleman in line in front of me I asked him if he was waiting for the one attendant that was behind the counter and he said yes so I waited about 10 minutes the guy .was on the phone. Finally the guy was so frustrated that he left. I stood there for another 5 minutes and then I heard the guy on the phone say well I'm at work right now indicating to me that it was a personal call so I said to him am I going to be able to rent a truck today or what and he told whoever it was on the phone that he had to call them back later and then proceeded to wait on me. I stood there for 15 minutes for nothing.

Lots of dry dirt on the floor of cargo van. We cleaned as best we could but still needed to put carpets down to keep the Queen size mattresses clean. The inside height was not 5' 4" as advertised. It was barely 5' with the door open and hard to fit the mattresses because the door went into the ceiling reducing the height when it was open.

Just wanted to say thank you to the guy behind the counter who took care of my van rental when the location service for the online pick up wasn't working for me. He made me remember why I always prefer to talk to a real person- no error messages. Also gave me his card so I could call after hours in case online drop off didnt work either. Quelle surprise, it didn't work. So a++ for customer service. Thanks again

We had a slight issue with the return of the trailer. I contacted U haul customer service direct as per the text message I received. I spoke to some at 1-800 U haul customer service that was quite unhelpful and short with me. I asked to speak with her manager but was transferred to the original location of the rental. Once on the phone with them he was very helpful and fixed the situation right away. Very pleased with the location at North Kingstown service, but was not impressed with how I was talked to by U haul customer service. I have rented several times and expected a little better on that end.

Contract #84160820 Equipment was returned at 12:30 pm (1 1/2 hours early) on 1/12/2020, but location was closed. The instructions for return were unclear. We were unable to attach a photo of mileage/fuel gauge. Do not think that we should be charged $20 late return fee.

My issue with this experience is based on receiving incorrect pricing info, and in general receiving conflicting information every time I called U Haul. Additionally, I called on Saturday 11/2 and was told a manager would call me Monday, however no one called and now it's Wednesday. I was told that if I return my rental truck earlier than anticipated, I'd be credited for the days I didn't use it. However, I was charged in full and was told I wouldn't be refunded for days I didn't even have the truck in my possession. I expect a credit for refunding the truck on Saturday vs Sunday, as was explained to me in my initial phone call, and I would also appreciate consideration for the fact that I received conflicting information and that on one has reached out as promised. No inventory. The trailer I received was said to be a 6x12 but it is not. The ramp of the trailer is only 57” so you can't actually get a mower, utv, ATV...etc on this trailer due to the ramp width. Terrible design. U-Haul should make a bigger trailer if going to stay with that design. Junk. Useless. Waste of my time and money. Gentlemen at the counter was fair and felt bad. Good guy overall.

While the location and people were excellent the Uhaul app left much to be desired. It restarted on its own 2 times. I gave up on it and went inside and finished the transaction. Whole filling out the paperwork (about 3 or 4 minutes after entering the shop office) the app wanted me to finalize the rental. I already had finished it with agent inside the office.

I signed up for a smaller truck. They called and said they only had bigger ones but I would be charged for the smaller one. When I saw my bill I realized I had been charged for the larger truck and paid $30 more than I should have paid. I would like a refund.

I pre-registered and paid on line and was inspected, hooked up by a friendly staff person, and on the road in 15 minutes. Trailer in perfect condition for the 1000 mile ride. Drop off took 5 minutes or less. Your system automation is fantastic. My only wish is that you allowed your smaller motorcycle trailer to be rented one way. My car would have appreciated the lighter weight on the Pennsylvania hills.
