Bonnie ZDrop off was a little agitating stated the rep would check in the U-Haul for a few of 20 more dollars when noone was there .I tried to check it in my self but got stuck at sending the pictures, there should not be a fee just to check in when it's not after hours I returned my U-Haul at 3:30 pm on the same day.

geary pThis was the third location that I had to visit to drop off the trailer. Two other locations were at capacity and could not accept the return. A location 1 mile from my home would not display as an option when I rented the trailer.

Gregory KThe app and website were down the morning of our pickup, causing a 1-hour delay. In addition, the rental truck indicated low tire pressure at two of the wheels, and the wiper blade on the driver's side wouldn’t clear during inclement weather. With that said, we were relieved to find a rental vehicle that fit our requirements, as many rental companies didn’t have anything available. The vehicle was clean and easy to drive once we overcame the app/website issues and could access the key.
Terry VWas offered a rundown trailer with worn tires. But they did exchange it for a much better quality trailer when this was pointed out.

Larry CUnloading the trailers were very difficult. We were advised to just drop and go. It took two of us to drop the trailer and then we found out we were supposed to check in from the website. That was very confusing.

r vI needed assistance picking up my rental. Lights were on at the office but door was locked with a note indicating they were away from the office at the moment. After 2 hours things hadn't changed. I called and left a msg. Never received a call back. In their defence a part of the problem is simply the difficulty of navigating the u haul website. The van itself was quite clean and ran well.

Kierra MTires were out of balance or wheel bearings were going out on the trailer. That was the worst towing trailer that I had rented by far. The trailer definitely needs to go to a maintenance facility for a full check up.

Bill PTerrible experience. Once I had the truck at the house, I saw the front driver side tire was low. I put MY tire gauge on it, 42lbs psi, supposed to be 80 psi, now I have to check the other 5 tires, passenger rear was 53 and 62 psi, driver side had a leaking valve stem on one, the other was bald, the tread was well below the tread indicator line, called roadside service and delayed departure waiting for them to arrive and place a new tire on the truck. The 2 of them were very helpful, they aired up the other tires to proper psi. 5 of 6 tires on this truck were well below operating psi. This truck was not safe to be on the road and NEVER should have been rented out, clearly NO safety inspection had been done on this vehicle in some time, as the baldness of the tire did not just happen. This tire had been long overdue for replacement. The lock Uhaul sells with their moving supplies at the storage facility did not fit the locking latch for the door. Found that out as I was preparing to pull out of the driveway. Luckily the neighbor across the street had one he gave me. On the highway at 60 mph, the fan belt squeals, meaning the belt is loose and approaching it’s breaking point, so I drove 4 hours worrying about a belt that might break in the middle of nowhere. This truck was NOT road safe and NEVER should have been rented out. If I didn’t check the tire pressure, multiple tires could have blown due to the weight of items I was transporting. I could have been killed as well as others on the highway. This Uhaul experience was awful and stressful. I will never use Uhaul again. I’m considering getting an attorney and taking legal action against Uhaul.

CAROLYN CMy truck was not available when I had reserved it. It was supposed to be there at 9am and didn't end up showing up until 3pm. I had to go to another location 45 minutes away to get another truck and had to re schedule my movers ( I had to pay a cancelation fee as well as their hourly due to this missing truck). When I turned my truck in the lady was unpleasant- hanging up on me and charging me for the gas that I had filled to the proper line and charging me for miles that I went over when it was supposed to be unlimited miles. This experience turned an already stressful situation into an even more unpleasant and stress inducing endeavor. I don't think I'll use uhaul again because of all of this bs.
