Location charged me for fuel even though I submitted pictures of the gas gauge at the time of the rental and at the time of the return. In fact, the picture at the return shows more fuel than what the vehicle started with. Location rep does not want to help me since she (Laurie) thought I was rude. I DISPUTED THE CHARGES. SOMEBODY WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME WITHIN 48 HOURS. IT HAS BEEN FOUR DAYS AND NOBODY HAS CALLED. ALSO THEY TRIED CHARGING MY CARD THE WHOKE WITHOUT CALLING ME. I NEVER WANTED TO PAY WITH MY CREDIT CARD. I WANTED TO PAY DEBIT. IF THE RETURN LOCATION IS GOING TO BE CLOSED AT THE RETURN DATE THEN YOU SHOUKD LET THE RENTER KNOW ABOUT IT. I WOUKD RATHER TAKE IT BACK TO SOMEWHERE THAT IS OPEN AND DEAL WITH REAL PEOPLE AND PAY HOW I INTENDED. THE LOCK BOX THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO RETURN MY KEY IN HAD NO LOCK ON IT SO I HAD TO PUT IT IN THE OTHER LOCK BOX THAT ONLY UHAUL CAN GET IN TO. SUCKS FOR ANYBODY ELSE AFTER ME WHO WOULD HAVE WENT TO RETRIEVE THE KEY. VAN NEEDED OIL CHANGE AND AIR IN TIRE WHEN I PICKED IT UP. SHOULD MAINTAIN VEHICLES BETTER. First of all check the equipment, the vendor was friendly but the trailer lights were not working and found that out when I got pulled over. The trailer lights were not tested when I took the trailer and that was an oversight by me that I won't let happen again. The problem was in the wiring harness in the trailer frame and by pulling on it the lights started to work again. Other than that the trailer was perfect for the job.Wayne G.

I arrived before 10am to pick up the truck and small dolly. But there was no dolly! Nothing! I became annoyed with their attitude of, "Oh you're just going to have to stop at another U-Haul and pick up a dolly from them", and told them that they should've looked at their reservations and gotten a dolly for me since I had reserved it when I reserved the truck. Their answer was, they don't look at the reservations until the morning of, and "Well U-Haul hasn't given us any dollys for 2 weeks, so we don't have any, you'll have to go to another U-Haul" I asked where and they said oh just anywhere. I asked specifically for an address but they said they didn't know. "Just drive up King George and it's on the left" I asked them to call ahead to ensure a speedy pick up, but they said they couldn't do that either. (btw, when I dropped off at 4, the woman told another customer to go up to the 84th & Kg George location as all their trucks were booked, funny how she knew the location then but not for me in the morning) ok, so I got the truck, and drove up the road and finally found the other U-Haul, but of course had to wait for my turn. The staff overheard me complaining to others in line what the first U-Haul had done and by the time it was my turn the young man told me the dolly was no charge. We arranged that I would drop it off on my way back to Sinclair. Time 10:25am so almost a half hour late to the move location. Got an automated text from Sinclair reminding me to have the truck back still at 4pm. I was not amused. Not only was I now 25 minutes behind, I was having to lose more time dropping off the dolly at 84th before dropping the truck. And I wasn't finished yet!! I got back to Sinclairs a few minutes before 4pm and was told to leave the key and I'd be mailed a receipt. Or I could open a U-Haul account and do the drop off info myself. Or I could wait another "15-20 minutes" because the woman at Sinclair couldn't check the mileage or the truck. "I don't want to die" was her reason. I asked how that would happen? "covid" she replied. I said "How?. We are both wearing masks and I've got both my shots". That's when she told me that she did not have her shots so she couldn't go into the truck. That I was going to have to close off the contract myself and handed me instructions on a card. At this point I was not in any mood to do anything, and certainly wasn't going to leave without a final accounting and a receipt. She had taken $125 deposit on my debit in the morning and I wasn't going to leave until I paid, or was refunded, any difference. Finally after 10 minutes the man came out to attend and she gave him keys for the drop off that was after me. (I had been there first, before 4pm, and actually helped that other customer back into his spot before I went into the shop. He'd heard her tell me about doing it himself or let them do it and be emailed the receipt and he chose that last option). So yes, she gave her partner that OTHER customers keys (he'd left already) and didn't say to take mine also. I walked outside and spoke to the man, asking him to look at my gas and mileage as well, as I was actually in line ahead of the truck he was now looking at. He said, "well I can't read minds", but still took my keys and wrote my truck info down. Then I followed him inside and he said something to the woman. I waited while she finished serving another customer, and then she started processing mine. The result was, I was owed a refund which she processed onto my debit card. Had I left she would have had no way to give me the refund. In my opinion these people are not good representatives for U-Haul. No dolly, no service, no concern for how much time they wasted from our move. And no appreciation for how stressful moving can be (especially with less time than reserved), that they added more stress by saying to "go online and do close out the contract myself", or "leave it with them and get the receipt later". Those are not good business practices. At this point I was not going to trust anything about this location.SUSAN R.
Would not recommend. Most of all I would never do mobile pick up. The amount of times my rental equipment was forgotten is appalling. Sadly this last time I picked it up after hours to use in the morning, and once again my rental equipment was forgotten. Since it was so late I could not get another rental from anywhere for the morning. I ended up having to buy a dolly which cost as much as the whole truck rental. I talked to customer service for an hour but they just told me what I already new. Overall poor service.Ben H.

Made my reservation 3 months in advance and uhaul called me and made me travel to another city to pick up the vehicle 3 hours later than my original reservation. My equipment reserved wasn't in the truck, had to drive to another location, they said it wasn't their problem and charged me for new equipment rental. Uhaul made my already stressful move a nightmare!David M.
I dropped the truck after store hours, drove for only 6 miles filled up gas to the desired mark 3/4â€¦.. next day I got my receipt by email and I was charged $43 for gasâ€¦ I filled it up at Esso gas station at king George and 72 avenue â€¦. 1/2 block away from the dropping locationâ€¦ unfortunately I didn't take picture as a proofâ€¦.. make some changes for after hour droppingsâ€¦Balwinder M.

When I arrived I was asked to take the truck from the spot I put it in and take it to another area. Then I walked up as they were busy with other business and handed the key and they said ok, thank you and that was it? No questions about my trip? No questions about the vehicle? I was a interruption. I had tried multiple times to adjust my drop off time and ended up talking to an individual in Alberta as the phones in BC were down and transferred to him. That was a waste of time as he said he could do nothing and to try them later. I did and got same gentleman. He informed me he would be fired if he adjusted anything so I asked why he gets the call? He said he had no way to contact BC Office so the customer ends up running around with no one to talk to. I also tried your web site and the chat area and it was also a waste of time. No response. Thank you for asking. ps. the truck handled well and road nice but may need an alignment as it pulled to the right.James H.
