When we went looking for the vehicle we found exactly what we wanted but was told it could only be rented online. Also, it was the only vehicle on the lot. We did not have access to a computer or internet at the time. So we went to a Uhaul yard. They had 10 vehicle of the type we wanted but none were available for the two day period we needed. We were then sent to another vendor that had one available. He had only one, but it was what we needed. The person at the counter was new and was not sure how to rent to use. He had to call someone and get direction over the phone. Then was redirected to someone else because his computers were down. Once we were put in contact with the right person we were able to rent the vehicle. Odd thing is I rented the vehicle on my card but was never given a contract or email regarding transaction. My brother inlaw would be the driver, but my sister some how got the email but could not access any of the information or instructions regarding how to refuel or return the vehicle. The recite indicates the correct date that we rented the vehicle but the wrong date of return. The vehicle was returned on a Sunday, the facility was closed but had a drop box for the key. The recite indicates the vehicle return on Wednesday??? We were given no instructions on how to return the vehicle. My opinion is that before you allow vendors to rent your vehicles they should have specific training regarding instructions to the clients.
Russell LealPerson renting the equipment didn't have all the equipment that was reserved and yet still charged us for all the equipment not included. Then said to try one of the other Uhaul sites to see if they had it.
James DantonaHave the items ordered on-hand. If I had known I would have to go to a different location for pick-up, I would have ordered from there in the first place and saved an hour of my time.
Jeff OaksNot easy to find - shares an address with another business on the other side of the building. I suggest having a full tank when picking up. Trying to get the tank filled to 5/8th, as it was when I rented, was not easy. It should have a full tank at rent and require it at return.
RICHARD SMITHDistrict Manager, Ken, went beyond what might be considered normal business. He delivered the rental vehicle to the closest office he could find, made sure I knew where to pickup the vehicle, gave me the name of the individual to speak to and generally made me feel comfortable about my decision to use U-haul. The next day when I picked up the vehicle, the person at the counter was having problems with the program not accepting some information about me. When she called Ken, he then proceeded to start the rental agreement from his computer, remotely from my physical presence. Once the information was in the computer bathe local desk person printed the two copies, signed them both and gave me a copy. I want to make sure that district manager Ken receives all the credit for making my decision to rent from U-haul the correct decision. Thanks

And, as a previous sales manager for many years, they did an impressive job at spelling inurance untis, etc. The only constructive criticism I am giving is to review the updated documents regularly. I was given certain documents to sign in my original package but when I started to ask specific questions to each option, the employee's computer copy was different then my customer copy regarding insurance addons and prices
