You could start with better customer service. The man that received us kept looking at us as if we were criminals. He said I had not paid for the truck and I had already received the confirmation for the reservation for 69.30. He then said no that's not the price and charged us 120 for a much smaller truck. I will never recommend or use his services again. He is a racist thief.

Charged me $80 for a "missing" furniture dolly even though I never got the furniture dolly I ordered in the first place. Pathetic.

My problem is U-Haul changed my order 2 times: I wanted to pick up a 20ft U-Haul at 7am in town. 1) I had to go 20 miles out of town to pick it up. Which is now costing me cause it put extra miles over the contract. 2) I was given a 26ft truck instead of what I request. It made it hard to get in and out of my locations. 3) my pick up time was changed to 8:30am instead of my requested time of 7am… my point is I booked it 5 days prior. I feel like there was ample time to meet my request instead of me (as the customer) having to compromise to meet UHaul's convenience.

HENRY MI was initially refused service despite having a reservation until the man running the place decided to change his mind after seeing my husband. He also forgot to include the dolly and we had to unload without it during the heat wave.
Katie HI had a reservation for a one-way rental and when I got there the attendant did not have what he promised. I did not feel that he cared one way or the other. He did not try to win my business. He wasted my time when I got there. He eventually rented a truck he had on the lot and cause me to have to make a return trip to the location where I picked up.
Verone SThe truck I requested over a week in advance was not available in canyon country, I was advised of a discount at that location, when I was rerout to Sylmar they took away the discount. I was then called shortly after not even an hour after checking out vehicle that I was late dropping off the uhual. When talking to customer service about the deal one coordinator would say one thing and then when this wasn't changed we called and another coordinator would say they don't have record of this conversations. It was a horrible experience.
Michael MVendor stayed open 15 minutes after closing so I could return my van. He really took pride in maintaining his vehicles and keeping them clean.

Cristal PThe owner or manager said it was going to cost me $400 to rent a 10 ' box truck, and that would include 300 free miles. It was a one way rental to San Diego only 130 miles away, so I said, "I don't need 300 free miles, just 150 will be more than enough, so how much will that be?" He said, "That would drop the price to $200" and I said, "That's great." BUT, when I saw the charge that went through, it was for $400 and NOT for $200. That very unprofessional and in my opinion borders on outright criminal -- bait and switch or intentional fraud. I was intending to rent from him again until I saw the charge. I want him to refund the overcharged amount of $200 and a penalty would make me feel better ($50 or $100) so he thinks twice before ever trying that again. Gracias
Greg JOriginal pricing from UHAUL was $125 for a one way trip. Get to the UHAUL location and dealer tells me it should be $240 round trip. Since I was moving out of town the miles also doubled. Will not reccomend since original pricing was incorrect by almost 50%.

Mark JCustomers should expect a clean windshield, right? Minus the bug splatter is a reasonable request. I do like seeing where I am driving and we've all experience the glare of the sun in our eyes & the difficulty in can be driving, comprising the issue more so, is a dirty windshield with big white spots.
Lori GThis is a really difficult drop off place. Located on a busy corner of a busy intersection, you can't see where to pull in, parking lot extremely crowded. When I made the reservation this was presented as closest drop off to where my storage unit is. It was 20 min away when in fact i knew there were others close by. I suppose if you know the area this would be a better drop off but not if you're from out of town. Staff on phone was very nice. We called to see if we could drop ot off closer but were told no because another customer was picking it up there.

Vincent ZI will be calling tomorrow as you representatives changed my drop off location to this spot. First of all you should not be able to drop off after hours here. Very sketchy part of town and not safe. Also uhaul changed my drop off and extended my date out & extended miles & said I did not have to pay for gas. But you charged me for all those things. I talked to THREE representatives and all confirmed these things. Very upset
