This place has a big rat problem. Coming back after a few months, I found bags bit into and rat sh*t everywhere. Some items were chewed through and destroyed, while others were covered/stained in rat feces. The lockers have a hole at the bottom where the locker meets the ground, presumably leading into other lockers. Hence, the rats getting into my locker; I recommend fixing that.

MELISSA HI have talked about this until I am blue in the face. Sufficient to say, I will not use again and I will use my very loud voice to discourage others as well. Hope that $137.00 that really needed was worth it to you. Absolutely awful customer service, thexworst O habe experienced in a very long time.

BUDDY BHad to wait for storage owner to show up which she never did. Had to go through a lot a red tape whith Merced U Haul to get a code to retrieve the truck key. Was thrown behind about 3 hours.

Two workers helped me at two different times, undoing the straps, the dolly. then latter the same day the truck, on the 6th. Every one was very respectful to me. Manuel PHave your people check the trucks before they let them out. We had to wait for a repairman for 2 hours…in our driveway. The gas tank was siphoned and then popped some rivets out so gas was splashing out onto the ground. We were told there was 1/4 of a tank of fuel…no, it was 13 miles to empty. We called in and were told we would comped for the fuel…no
Stanley MI have reached out to both the location and U-haul regarding the condition of the truck that I was given and I was told I would be contacted within 3 business days by U-haul and I have yet to hear back

monica dActually give a U-Haul that is in good condition, the U-Haul was a mess engine light turned on and the bumper falling everywhere. I would think they would give a serviceable uhaul.

Carlos VConvenient and fast to get the rental, i was out of the office in less than 10 minutes. The van was clean and ready to go. Excellent service and very affordable. I will definitely recommend to anyone without a large vehicle to move a big load.

Brian L1. The business was supposed to open at 10am. The employee didn't arrive until 10:05am. 2. We were giving a uhaul vehicle that was just returned. No one wiped down the cab with any kind of disinfectant before we were given the keys to use it. 3. I specifically asked the employee what time they closed and was told 6:00pm. We busted our butts to get to Elk Grove and back, unload everything, and return the uhaul before then. We got to the facility where we rented to uhaul at 5:40pm. Office door was locked and a sign in the window said "closed".

Gokay AI realized after I left the vehicle had 1/8 of a tank less than what the check out receipt said and the odometer had approximately 50 milles more than the receipt claimed. this did not include the miles i had to drive to pick up the tow dolly at a different location of whice i was not informed until the night before. this cost me approximately $35 more in gas and $ 20 in milage.

The uhaul van at this place is easy to reserve, plus it's brand new with <4000 miles! Honestly speaking, this place works better than the dedicated Uhaul Merced... At least the staff there won't yell at you!
HANBO HThe knowledge of how to put the tow dolly is below minimal. The ladies tried their best and were very kind but it could of caused a huge accident. When I called and asked what I needed I was told a one inch ball. So I purchased that and then they didn't have the pin for the hitch. So I had to purchase that at u haul ok Martin Luther King. I returned and the ladies connected it all. No tools. While on the freeway I felt an ugly tug and I got off, the bolt to the hitch ball had came undone. I had to go and purchase another ball, a 2 inch now because the 1 inch was to small causing the dolly to shake a lot. It was a very stressful experience and with previous rental i had no issue with the same item, but it was a different locations. And the knowledge is vital for the rental office staff to know.
VANESSA GBarbara is top notch. She has customer service down with enthusiasm, and it's instinctive. She went way out of her way to help correct an issue and assured my trailer would be there for pickup. If I were still managing a company U-Haul would lose an employee and I would gain a great asset. Note to U-Haul: don't let her get away.
HERBERT HI highly recommend this company for any of your moving needs. These guys were great! Good communication, mindful and quick loading & unloading. We requested three people, the guys were very respectful and hard working - we appreciated them working diligently, helping us load, unload and place heavier items in their designated location within the new clinic. They were extremely careful with our delicate furniture and exam tables. We are very grateful that we got the team we did! Keep up the good work AND thank you for the good communication - it made a world of difference.

She talked down to me and my wife Charlene, when I picked up the truck she said the truck needed to come back clean,and put the gas back to the half tank it is on. I've never picked up a truck from U-haul that wasn't full of gas. After I was done with the truck, I took the truck to the closest 76 gas station in Merced, so i could use my 76 gas card. I told the female the truck was not clean, She ecnored me! I asked if she heard me with a more Stern voice, I've delt with her tipe of person for most of my life. I just moved from Idaho driving one of your trucks, my wife Charlene worked for U-haul back in the late 60s, and if you could look it up you would see I'm not just saying this. I don't expect anything to happen to this lady that works for your corporation. I would like an apology!!!. Not to me but to my wife I won't tell my friends or family how I was treated by this lady that works for U-Haul, I want an apology from this lady to my wife charlene Padilla. marcus rThe unit I was given looks like the roof is going to cave the next time it rains. When I asked if they take any responsibility if it does, the answer was "nope, not at all" and she walked away. The unit was not clean, hadn't been swept out. I will not ever use this facility again and will have my things out of there as soon as possible.

Sammuel SWhen someone rents a 10 ft. studio trailer you should let the customer know it doesn't have a ramp to load heavy furniture. I was unable to use it and U-Haul didn't have anything else available. I drove from San Jose to Merced to move the furniture back to San Jose. I was very upset for this misunderstands, but the office rep was kind and couldn't get mad her since it was booked on line. She handles herself very professional!
