I'm very disappointed with the service and charges for the uhaul rental. I will not rent from this location again nor will I recommend it either. I used it for a distance of 24 miles and I had to put 6 gallons of gas because the prior customer left it at a half tank and I had already left when I realized the error. I was charged for 2 days even though I returned it within 24 hours. The truck was dirty and I was unable to open the back until the next day when I took it to a mechanic because it was jammed.Robyne T.
They didn't have a drop box to leave the keys, I had to go inside the gas station cashier, ask and leave the keys with them, the employees weren't wearing masks and were very rude when asking for assistance. The location didn't have enough parking spots for the u-haul trucks or the other trucks weren't parked correctly, it was a nightmare to to try to fit the truck in the space they had left. I had to wait for one hour after arrival to finally get the truck. The person on duty although very nice did not know how to rent the truck. I had reserved furniture blankets and a dolly. They did not have these and simply told me to call the Uhaul 800 number. They charged me for them anyway. The Uhaul national representative sent me to another location for the items, they had blankets there but no dolly. I had to purchase (not rent) a dolly at that location.Leon B.

I had to do everything to turn it back in. you should have paid me. the on line part was very confusing. I did however have help from willy. he took care of me. its not my job to do all of the return portion. I paid good money to rent the truck. it should be easy to return a truck.Benjamin B.

My reservation was for the Broad St location in Augusta. I was later told that they do not do one way rentals, so it would be better for the system to tell you that and offer the surrounding locations that do. As it turned, the person at the North Augusta was great and it couldn't have worked out better.Greg M.

This location is at a gas station ran by the same person running the counter. They had to stop working with uhaul to ring up regular customers.Joseph R.

This was a horrible experience for me. The truck was a dangerous location. Once the approval process was complete, the key was not in the box. The store clerk stated she didn't know what to do to help me. I called customer service and was transferred 3 times before I reached someone who knew what to do. The key was in the store the entire time with the store clerk. I feel The approval process should happen before the customer arrives to the location. I also feel the store clerks should be better trained to assist U-Haul customers. The pick up process is supposed to be fast and easy and overall it took me about 2 hours to pick up the U-Haul.Latashi G.
It's a convenience store with no room. One person was working when checking out the truck and she had to handle the convenience store customers while juggling Uhaul customers. When checking back in, I saw another coworker or manager come out of an office, look at something on a computer, and then immediately re-enter the office and shut the door, even though the associate had a line and again had to juggle everything by herself.Preston W.

There was no U-Haul staff on site. When I asked the desk clerk what I needed to do to return my truck he looked really confused and said he didn't know and told me to use my phone. There was no drop box on site. There was a pick up box with a lock code on it but I was t given a code to put my key in it. Left the key with the desk clerk.Melvin W.

Horrible experience so much so I will only use Budget and Penske in the future. Went to drop off at 430. This drop off location is a Shell Gas Station. The lady at the register said â€œO I can't do the Uhauls and the lady who can't isn't here. She will be back in a little while.â€ After waiting 10 minutes she tells me she won't be back until 530 so I left and returned at 530. The lady at the register quickly texts someone and says she's on the her way here. So I perused around the store for 15 minutes. She then hangs up the phone and says the owner is coming but won't be here until 7 PM. At this point I was quite annoyed because this was the 2nd time I showed up to try to return the Uhaul. I showed back up at 7pm and the owner has me was 5 more minutes or so. She then gets on the computer and has someone on the phone face-timing in a different language showing her the computer screen and teaching her how to do the process. She asks me â€œis it cleanâ€ and â€œhow many miles are on it?â€ I had to show her a picture of the speedometer on my phone. She never even looked at the truck. 3 trips later just to turn the truck in. Very inconvenient and poorly run. I picked Uhaul with a higher price but slightly more convenient pickup/drop off locations and it backfired. Will no longer use this service.Stephen P.
P.O.S. program SUCKS! Employee that was finally called to process equipment return was a real BITCH! Took an hour at equipment pick-up, and over 45 min. at equipment return. Really disappointed with the U-haul experience at Atomic Rd. location. Having been in retail for 35 years, this is no way to run a u-haul franchise!Richard H.
