Your app is terrible. I was unable to figure out how to begin the process, and only accomplished it by accident. I only achieved progress with assistance or through guesswork. I called the help line for assistance, and when I finally got through to the right person, I got disconnected after fifteen seconds. On the other hand, Lisa, the agent at the location, was a gem. She called me back and gave me the help that closed the deal. I understand the use of technology these days, but bring back the customer service agents for face to face. I felt like I was only left with the option of using an app, that either I didn’t understand, or was poorly designed….or both.

It was set up for self check out and the person had to help me through that.. I thought it took more time than it should have and the self check part should have been explained a head of time.

There was a lot of confusion about the 24/7 pick up, I talked with two different people that told me I was all set up to pick it up at 7am and then when I got there I wasn’t set up for 24/7 pick up, I had to drive to the other uhaul store to have them change it and then it still took forever to receive the code for the lock box to get the keys to the truck. This set us behind almost an hour which was extremely inconvenient, when I was very specific on the phone with needing to pick it up at 7am and being told multiple times that I was all set. The people at the other uhaul store were very friendly and helpful but I shouldnt have to drive to another store when I was assured that I was all set.

Well, our first experience using UHaul was really just a complete let down. We picked up our UHaul the morning we started moving our entire house (stressful enough!) and it took over an HOUR before we could actually access the key for the truck in the lockbox. We opted in for the digital pick up option to make things easier and fast for us, which I believe actually is what caused the entire process to take so long. My husband and I both worked on our phones in our car next to our UHaul truck with no person to help in sight. The UHaul website was totally glitching, despite the fact that we have full service. We would get half way through the check-in service and the whole website would crash. An hour later we contacted customer service, waited 15 minutes for a call back, and were able to get the code to the lock box to get our keys. We returned the truck that same evening, after 8 long hours of heavy lifting and moving to the same location. We tried checking in the truck, and again, the website was down. It was now dark outside, we were exhausted, hungry, cold, etc. Luckily we knew the code to the lock box so we returned the key. We took pictures of the gas take and mileage and truck to prove we returned it just as we left it. We were not waiting there to go through the return process on our phones and allowing it to crash half way through and take us back to the beginning of the process. I called customer service on our way back home, and the wait was an hour and 50 minutes long! Even if we wanted to wait, there was no way!? It was past 11pm when I received a call back from customer service and they were able to tell me that Shattuck Road Storage would “review” my rental and make sure things were returned in good shape. Sheesh.

Did not receive $25 gas credit for low fuel 1/8 tank Made me quite uneasy knowing if I Would have enough fuel to get to gas station. On the plus side the pickup is easy access.

Person working at this location said ‘I don’t work for Uhaul’ when we mentioned the trucks suspension is poor, and was only mildly knowledgeable about the service offered.

My original reservation was on Bay rd. and has to send my reservation to another location, very inconvenient see as when your moving time is precious and I wasted an hour and a half because of there mishap

The online 24/7 pickup option was awesome and super convenient! I appreciate you guys for innovating so quickly and making it such a fluid process! The only thing I would say, is when you miss your timeslot there should be an alert that tells you that you missed it versus just not giving you the option to "pickup my truck." I didn't have this issue with your location that was the Bay Rd location, though I'm sure it's just a technical issue in general. Regardless overall was great!

We did the self drop off and it went very smoothly. The location was a bit difficult to find and I accidentally drove passed it even though I was using Google maps. So greater visibility from the street would be helpful.

When U-Haul switched my pick up to this location and called to tell me, they did not inform me that it was a mobile pick up only location. It took me an extra hour and a half to navigate all the mobile details and get approved.

The customer service agent was very rude. The truck was covered in snow and the doors were frozen shut. We were given a hammer to get the door open. The truck was not swept on the interior. This was our worst experience ever.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. Two days before my move Uhaul called to tell me that there were no trucks available in my original pickup location. They suggested this location even though it was 35 miles away from the original location. The representative said she would give me the 20’ truck for the price of the 15’ truck for the issue. I went to pick up the truck and the lady there told me that the price was never changed and “didn’t know what to do about it.” She was extremely rude and lacked any customer service skills. I had to drive way out of my way for this location and she offered no help in the situation. The truck itself shook anytime you went under 40 mph. It was very scary.

The staff at Bay road location and at the Shattuck location were not friendly, customer service was horrible. It showed that they were not sure what they were suppose to do. I had to return my truck to the bay road location because the one on Shattuck was closed so they emailed me a receipt. I'm not sure if I was charged appropriately because no one could go over the receipt.with me,

I would absolutely NOT recommend going to this business for anything. The girl there named Julie is horrendous when it comes to customer service. I won't get into all the details and the amazing rudeness of Julie but just believe me when I say it was one of the worse experiences ever and I'm 47. It's amazing that someone can be that unhappy. District manager got involved and wiped out my bill without asking because of her.

If you could make sure that the vehicle is clean. There was a really thick and sticky substance laying witjin the lining in the back pf the van amd it stained the side of my matress really bad. That was the only thing i didnt lile aboit my experience.

The lady was so defiant and rude because she didn't want me to bring the trailer there and wanted me to take it someplace else. This was after I tried to bring it closer to my home and they said I must take it to this location. She said she wasn't coming out to unhook it. I was trying to be nice but it was hard.
