I had a very pleasant experience. The gentleman at the counter was very nice. He had the vehicle ready for me when I arrived, he was ready for me even a little early! That was really appreciated since it was raining and I knew traffic would be bad. The van was nice--very clean, and it was a hybrid so used only a little gas. Since it's a newer vehicle it was fun to drive. The only slight downside is I should have clarified before leaving where to park the vehicle at the end of my rental. The location doesn't have a parking lot, and it's on a busy corner, so I should have asked before my rental where to park when returning. But other than that it was a perfect experience!

Rebekah OExcellent service! I've used uhaul van rentals many times, at many locations, and Shalom's was BY FAR the best experience by leaps and bounds. So quick and easy, pleasant, clean, flexible, easy to reach a human, etc. and food and drinks right there too for your road snacks ;)
Corinne SIt was difficult to use your app. It would not complete a request, only a few steps, and then it would start over. I had to call the location.
Latania MParking brake broken and mirror adjustment gear missing/broken. Windows we're very dirty --- difficult to see mirrors through side windows. Location is very convenient and staff friendly.
Jarred MFirst of all I had booked the rental for another location and never received a call or email that the van would be at this location. Arriving at this location there was no obvious sign it was a UHaul pick up point. Walking inside the "cafe" it was pretty clear I was not welcome. The furniture pads I had ordered were not there, the van was filthy and the gas tank was not full... leading me to over fuel the van before returning it. The online booking system failed.

Dominique PJust 12 hours later, I received a bank alert that several suspicious transactions by U-Haul were charged to my credit card, but I only made one for the van rental this morning. They found that one transaction was made by a tire company based in Arizona, immediately reminding me of the truck license plate that I rented from U-Haul this morning. It was from Arizona. The bank anti-fraud personnel also told me that my U-Haul bill this morning was the only suspicious transaction that they could find. I have not done any other in the recent days.
jun lOn pickup, my credit card was charged but the store owner couldn't see that reflected on his app. I had to call customer service 3 times before that was resolved. As a result, my pickup was 2 hours later than I had reserved it for, and my credit card was also charged twice for this transaction, so I still need to dispute the first charge with my credit card company.

Oshan CI ordered pads and a furniture dolly. they were not available at this location and I was not informed until arrived. I had to drive a dew miles at $.79/mile to get pads and a dolly. I should have been called so I could arrange that ahead of time.

Nitin NWe didn't realize the shop was open ,so we waited a while and called UHAUL to see if we had the right location. However, upon looking more closely into the shop, it was clear that the place was open and ready to serve us with extreme politeness and good customer service.
Natalia BHave the tank full from the start. My van was at half and it is hard to gauge how much has been used. I ended up overfilling and know I won't get my money back. Otherwise, the van was nearly new and very clean. Easy in person check in and out.
Marla DYou changed the location of my pick up to a place I could not get to easily. I had to cancel the reservation and book somewhere closer where I couldn't even get the van for a 24 hour period which was my original booking. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with uhaul. I was told my reservation didn't qualify for the guarantee even though someone unilaterally changed the location. No one called me to check if it was fine to change the location to miles away. I was also told finally I would receive a $20 credit via email for my trouble. I never received it. Awful awful service.

Sam CMy experience was excellent. The Uhaul representative was courteous and professional, but also kind and caring. Enjoyed the atmosphere and how he interacted with the other customers. He truly treats people like he wants to be treated. When I need a Uhaul, I will rent from him again.
Carol HI was charged for insurance even though on my online reservation I opted out of insurance. I was not asked whether or not I wanted to purchase insurance at this location, so it seems that they added insurance to my order without my consent. This is not excusable.

Miguel SThe truck and location were easy to find. It needed service. All the safety lights on the dashboard were going off, I didn't have time to inform the owner as I was on a deadline for a pick up. Made it back in one piece, but there's no ramp available. I took back roads because I honestly didnt think it would make the 20 minute ride on the freeway at speed. No offense but the truck needs service or at least the dashboard shouldn't light up with all kinds of hazards when you first get in. And it needs a wash and sanitizing inside. Otherwise, straight forward.

Daniel TClean the outside of the van. The service at the location. However, mobile check in was not helpful at all. Verification of second person or passport needed to be announce ahead of time, also the steps on how to create an account are not clear on the website. I found the whole process too time intense and useless and unless you make improvements I will just use the desk instead. Mobile check in would get 1 star from me.

TOM NI would strongly recommend the agent advise customers about parking personal vehicles in the area. There's all day parking and 2 hour parking and I parked in 2 he parking and got an $82 ticket that could have been avoided if the agent would have advised me of the 2 hr zone right next to the all day zone.

Taja LYour instructions are not clear how to pick up a vehicle. I chose mobile only, but there weren't any instructions on my phone other than visit the location. The guy working there told me to use the phone but after I checked in there wasn't anything to do on the phone. He was helpful but it was confusing. Also there's no key drop off for this spot, so I had to leave the key with the neighbor business. I was surprised and upset when you charged me double the base rate saying it was a 2 day rental after dropping it off at 6pm. There's nothing that states the cutoff times, and the text message you sent didn't mention it. The truck was fine but All around, the rental was a poor experience.
David M• The man was not friendly • There was no box to return the key so we had to make an extra trip the next morning. This inconvenience costs us time and money but we know it won't be subtracted from the bill. • Dealing with returning the key was a hassle. We were on the phone with U-Haul for an hour, standing in front of the building as it got dark, until we were finally told to come back in the morning.
