The truck had damage at pick up which I pointed out to the rep who assured me U-Haul was aware and it was documented. I took photos as evidence. After drop off, without anyone contacting me, I was charged $400 in damages for the damages that were on the truck when I picked it up. I reached out to customer care and was informed someone would contact me in 3 business days. It has now been 3 business days, my money has not been refunded, and I have not been contacted. I will be contacting customer care AGAIN.

When I arrived there were three people in the office. One person was speaking with a customer on the phone and the other two people were doing paperwork. No one acknowledged that I walked into the office. No one said, "Welcome to Uhaul we'll be right with you." or "What can I help with?" or even "Hello". There was no acknowledgement that I was even present until the one person was off the phone and then engaged with me on the reservation. Very poor customer service. No eye contact or even a "hi." The reason I gave two stars and not one is because the gentleman that helped hook up the trailer was extremely friendly and helpful. Service is key! I'll visit another Uhaul location in the future.

The truck was a complete piece of crap, wasn't sure it would make it to my new house. Customer service was terrible, there was one woman, and we were three waiting in line and competing with the phone that was ringing. Very unprofessional. The parking lot was I guess under construction according to the confused front desk staff. So the truck wasn't located at the advertised address. We had to park down the street and walk to the place under construction. They should not have been open for business until they were ready which they were most certainly not.

My overall experience with Uhaul this time was very frustrating. I chose that I wanted to pick my truck up in Bloomington, but they switched it the day before to a location 20 minutes further south - the opposite direction of where I was moving to. They then tried to charge us for a few extra miles because they didn't have the truck in the location I needed it to begin with. Very frustrating and not sure I'll use Uhaul again if this is your new policy.

The lock on the back of trailer was bent. We had to force it to make it stay in place. We finally had to put a padlock on to keep it closed.

Great service - I returned the UHaul later than expected and received a refund for the 2nd half of the time it wasn’t used. The folks in the office were friendly and the UHaul pickup and drop off process was easy and simple. Definitely coming back in the future!

- Had trouble getting them on the phone to let them know we would be late - The truck's tires were low on air, had to fill them myself before we could get on the road - Facility was clean and easy to find. Owner/employee was friendly and helpful.

The lady who took the phone call was rude. I rented half dozen furniture pads. They charged me for one dozen rent. When I called, they said, that charge is for folding the pads. I have folded them, kept 5 in trunk and left one in front seat. This is lame excuse that give for not refunding. I have returned with Full tank fuel, which is more than what I rented with. This place is not customer friendly.

The 24/7 option is difficult to use and didn't work for me at all. I had to wait until someone was onsite to have the transaction completed. Plus the 24/7 option didn't allow me to pick up the truck "at any time" as advertised. I had to wait until my reservation time before I could use it...and then it didn't work anyway.

When I made the reservation, I informed the person who I spoke to that I needed to drive a 61" side-by-side onto the trailer. I rented a 6'x12' trailer which on paper is adequate. I was in a hurry to get on the road and beat some snow so I picked up the trailer quickly, checked the lights and drove the trailer 6 hours to pick up the equipment. As soon as I got to my destination, I realized the tailgate was 57 inches wide, 4 inches too small for my equipment to get on the trailer. I ended up calling UHaul asking to switch trailers at a different location. They told me that the trailer I rented was owned by the Shakopee, MN location and would be a ~$300 drop fee plus another rental fee. When I got off the phone very frustrated I noticed that the Trailer had a Colorado License; therefore was clearly not owned by Shakopee, Minnesota and was lied to by your representative. I ended up driving the empty trailer back for the 6 hour drive and returned the trailer without being able to use it. I will have to re-do this trip with another trailer; however will not be using UHaul for any future business due to this absurd experience.

They had just enough blankets but not 1 more. If anything, they could inventory more packing blankets. But otherwise they were awesome to work with.

the only thing that doesn't make this a five-star is that we had booked a truck in a certain town and had to go an hour and a half round trip out of our way to pick up the vehicles that we needed that said everything else was smooth sailing after that

I was charged the $25 cleaning fee when the van was nearly in exact shape as when I received it. There may have been a little bit of snow in the truck, but nothing that warrants the $25 charge. Nickle and diming is exactly what that was there!

Not this locations issue. But I was very confused why I could not pick up and drop off at the Uhaul about 3 miles from my location. They told me corp. would only let them rent one for 24 hours due to end of the Month. NO problem at all with the Shakopee location. 10 plus points.

Clearer signage on entrance. It looks like you should enter Shakopee Towing and driving to the correct place is a hassle with the traffic on Eagle Creek

Ordered a dolly, none in the uhaul. Arrived after hours, had to search around for someone to help me. A tow truck driver, a lawn mower person, Finally the third person could help. Descriptions of trucks online lacking. I needed a truck with a ramp and when I got there, mine did not have it. Truck they have me was filthy, trash and garbage inside and wreaked of smoke. I filled up the gas but got charged anyway. Should have gone to total rental downtown Shakopee.
