I completed my reservation online for easy pick up but the lady there restarted it and said it was “mandatory” for me to purchase the $15 protection even though I opted against it when doing my reservation online.
Kyler BIm not sure of her name but the lady that helped us was amazing! We reserved a trailer at another location for 7am and when we hot there we didn’t see the trailer but thought it was in the back and the guy said it was there. I was charged and everything and when we went to hook it up he didn’t come to help till he realized we were still there and he realized the trailer wasn’t there either. We ended being two hours behind because he never even offered to look for a location that had one available asap. The lady at the Turlock location was so nice and felt so bad she put a reservation on a trailer right away when we talked to her and drove an hour out of our way to get this!

SEW II do. It think that Uhaul was aware of the roof leak.
Sandra PThe pin that holds the sliding ramp in place fell off while towing a car. The ramp was dragged on the highway and forced me to pull over onto the shoulder to inspect. Weather was terrible and I had to move up to the next exit to repair. I was able to use a rope that I had in my truck to secure the ramp and finish my trip.

JOHN PFront left tire was flat upon arrival. Rear right tire had a nail in it. 100 minutes later we left after our reservation time. Tow company was called and Sew Creative offered no solution.

jadon hThey safety chain was bent closed, so they only put one safety chain on, and when I got to my location and loaded my vehicle, both ratchet straps were ripped at the end missing length of strap, so the straps barely fit over my vehicles tires. You should leave at least 6” of strap before ratcheting and I barely had 1” of strap on both sides. Horrrrrible and extremely unsafe experience. Also the reservation was made for 12:30, when I showed up they were closed from 12:00-1:00 for lunch… so I was late to pick up my vehicle and had to keep pulling over tightening it down every 30 minutes of driving on the way back… a 4 hour trip because it kept getting loose due to the ripped straps. Horrrrrrrrible.

Marcus WJust to clean the truck the prior customer used before handing to any customer. It smelled like smoke. Also, someone needs to revamp the U-Haul mobile app. I had to get a specialist & even then she & I had to redo the process 3 times. It was terrible & I was in the bad side of town. (it's the only U-Haul in town) The front male working didn't have a great customer service attitude.

Michael BThe truck had a lot of dents and scrapes but pretty clean. The ignition, key area, needs some attention. Hard to turn the key and ran a little ruff and seemed like it could use new shocks. A little bumpy but it got us there and back. I also wasn’t told about the $20.00 after hour charge. Guess they closed at noon on Saturday and since I had it scheduled to return in 8 hours and not 4 they charged me after hours rates even though I returned it before my 8 hours was up and never mentioned the after hour rate to me. A little disappointed there

Brenda MThere are a few things I wanted to process and share. The person who was helping me check out was very helpful and kind. But the vehicle I rented smelled kind of bad and the seats were covered in pet hair and I couldn’t get it off myself. The outside of the vehicle was really dirty and there were some like drool/sticky smudges in the window. The lady cleaned the inside of the windows but I had to bring the van to the car wash because it was not presentable for the location I was driving it to. The lady helping me said to save my receipt to see if I can get a refund from the owner which I will try. This is more of an app comment. On the app when I was trying to return the vehicle it wouldn’t let me proceed to the next page unless I said there was nothing that needed yo be fixed but the windshield wiper fluid was either out (not showing on the dashboard) or broken so I couldn’t clean the windows while driving. Just wanted to make sure that got fixed before the next person used that vehicle.

LEWIS MI returned the truck with appox 1 gal less fuel than when I got it. Missed the birth of my first child so I could put an extra $4.29 in the tank. However, it was worth it as long as it puts one more biscuit in the mouth of one of those slack jawed confused employees waddling around the property. Mozel tov!
