Brent I.Maybe a wash for the outside of the truck, but it's not necessary. I have rented from UHaul in the Ft Lauderdale area many times at different locations, this was by far the cleanest, well organized facility with the most knowledgeable and pleasant crew I have experienced.

MICHAEL P.I was given a brand new van that was not safe to drive (equipment number BE3173F) from Sentry Storage in Deerfield Beach, FL. I was told I had to return the van to the same location. I advised the agent I had to be at a specific location 35 miles away by 4p. He insisted I had to return. The van. By the time I got into a different vehicle it was 28 minutes to my destination time. I missed my deadline and had To return the next day causing double mileage. As I Speke with the agent, someone should be held accountable for placing me in a unsafe vehicle which could have caused serious damage. Later I found out the brand new van had a faulty power steering. I was told by the agent to call UHaul's 800 number. I did and spoke with another representative. She mentioned someone from management will return my call within 72 hours. That was Monday, December 20, 2021. It is now Wednesday, December 29, 2021 and I have not received a call back. UHaul and Sentry Storage along with their representative, without remorse or sympathy) was careless and have refused to be held accountable for placing me in a potentially dangerous vehicle. Also, The truck they gave me was out of alignment. Apparently, No one checks to make sure these vehicles are safe, but will push on a customer their insurance. I was double charged for mileage due to the negligence of UHaul and Sentry Storage.

When I came back in 2 1/2 hours she said I was late and would be charged a late return fee. I never gave her an end time but just an estimate. She was unwilling to work with me and just said “call Uhaul it's not my problemâ€. She then got on her personal cell phone and was texting people and said “you can leave nowâ€. I don't know her name because she didn't tell me nor did she have a name badge on. I can tell you what she looked like though. When looking at my bill it was definitely more than it should have been.

DAVID W.I was trying to run a truck that I had reserved, and the system had gone down. At this location there's a manager, her name is Brittany, and her associate Jana, both were extremely helpful and did not give up and trying many different ways to get me my rental. It is very frustrating we could not get anyone on the main office phone to tell us what was going on. Which meant that because we had waited so long, 2hours to be exact, and ended up moving in the rain. Overall this location and these two girls should be commended, because I was about to lose it. And they stayed calm and they were perfect and amazing. For future reference, I would suggest that you have a protocol in place for your different locations to follow when the System goes down. I was on a time crunch and it was extremely frustrating that we were not able to get in touch with anyone from the main office.

David W.Truck smelled like cigarettes and bad attitude from employee. Mileage and gas was marked wrong (gas said 3/4 tank, but was actual 2/3 of a tank. Mileage off by 7/10 if a mile.). I pointed this out and was told I was wrong on the gas and then mileage was not fixed either. I have rented 3 or 4 times from this location in last 2 months with more need on the horizon. I will not use U-Haul or this location again. I will recommend the same to others.

MARCIANO F.My reservation was cancelled and I was not contacted by anyone or given a reason for the cancellation. Was forced to rent a smaller vehicle than needed. Was not asked how long I needed the vehicle and was charged another $20 for returning after the time that they choose for themselves. This is the second time I have rented online form Uhaul and both times my reservation was cancelled and I was not informed until I went to pick the vehicle up. I will not be making Uhaul my first or second choice for renting trucks in the future and will be discouraging associates to do the same.
