Matthew TemplinOverall it was a terrible experience. I reserved 20’ box a vehicle transport for today. Yesterday they called me to tell me my rquipment was not available where I was told to pick it up. The closest uhaul was 1.5 hours away. I said that won’t work. I had 2 uhaul workers I also had to be concerned about. I asked about Broomings and they had the truck I could use. Scrap the ideA of towing my keep. It only got worse from there. At first my drop off could not handle it. I was told grants pass or was the only place to drop off. That was a huge cluster f@&k. Turning it in finally and these people charged me $46 extra for gasoline. I’ve used uhaul many times before but this is the worst experience I’ve ever experienced. The gas really pisses me off.

The facilty owner and staff opened the gates and graciously did the intake almost two hours before they were scheduled to open. They definitely went above and beyond in service!

Paul HoltI answered n/a to whether I'd recommend the pick-up location to a friend only because if I had answered this question on the day of pickup I would've said no. Looking back, I was still able to get my rental so, I suppose it worked out. When u-haul called me the day before my scheduled pickup to tell me I had to travel to a different location to get my rental they never told me the location was "by appointment only". The business owner was a jerk to me when I arrived by stating I was lucky that I wasn't 5 minutes later because I would've had to come back at the end of the day, despite the fact that the u-haul rep said I could pickup that morning. The way he acted told me my arrival bothered him. It took about 10 minutes to get past my initial anger after how I was treated when I arrived. No reason to treat a customer like that.
Kyle KoeperThe location and service where I picked up the truck was outstanding!! The U-haul people and staff over the phone missed the boat entirely! They called and cancelled my reservations I made because they said, "he were closed and no trucks were available! " I visually saw two 20ft trucks and the owner is always open! They refused to listen! Two days later they called and said I had to pick it up 30 miles away! Again, I argued with them! Finally someone took the initiative to call the owner and wa la two trucks were sitting there! To much stress when you're on a time crunch to move a household!!

Kristi CederstromWhen we arrived (50 miles from home) the man was nice enough and the property was clean. But, I told him I wanted to add a secondary driver but he just kept processing the reservation. I again said about adding a second driver because I wouldn't be with the truck. He said, don't worry about it, it's insured. And, when we were done, he did not give me ANY paperwork showing the transaction. Then when I got in the truck to go, it started up okay but then the RPMs kept surging between 1000 and 4000. I let it sit and idle for a few minutes before driving. It still surged for about 10 miles. And yes, I turned off the tow/haul while the truck was empty.
Lori SandersI think they should have a size guide on the website to help better choose the right size trailer. We thought the 6x12 would be enough but we ended up needing bigger and it was about $200 or so more for the bigger size.
BRANDEN PITTSGet some more auto transports available in Southern Oregon. Had to drive an hour out of my way to get one. Not 1 was available in grants pass.

PERRY POSTLEI had to drive 40 extra miles and when I called customer service they wanted me to leave the rental on the side of the road near their locked entrance. I was charged for the extra miles, not including the extra gas I had to buy. Horrible drop off experience.

terry pateMy reservation was in grants pass for which I registered on line when I arrived they said my reservation had been chAnged to a location 25 miles away which caused me to have to drive a extra 100 miles. Uhaul promised me a $50 discount Which they have not given. I am pissed

mickey foxtold me he wouldn't charge me for being late, but I explained to him two times it was Corvallis location that was late and I was not. I left at 11:30am my time wasn't updated in the computer. He didn't care. Nothing registered with this fellow. Had a "we will let this slide this time" attitude, I didn't appreciate.

LAURIE HODGEThe truck I received had a bulge on the inside of the front tire on the passenger side. I was not made aware of this when I picked up the truck. I noticed the bulge in the middle of 1200 mile journey, and was extremely scared that the tire might have a blow out, due to the hot weather. When I returned the truck I told the person about the bulge in the tire, and they told me that it was noted in the record. This made me very angry to hear that. I could have been in a severe accident, or been on the side of the road in 100 degree heat, waiting for a repair truck.

vicki hansonThe salesman was very rude and disrespectful to me and called me a baby and laughed at me when I asked him for a hard copy receipt and when I asked him to give me the starting mileage because the checklist text they sent me wasn’t available to verify the miles to calculate my charges due to him. He also told me to go to “hell”. I had to do all I could to keep my compulsore and calmness and not to over react. When I wanted to complain he told me to call Uhaul.com and when I asked him for his name he said NO. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UHAUL IN SELMA OREGON. Selma UHAUL Oregon it is called. The man lives on the property and has dogs if you come across this business. STOPdo not us. He also told me the final bill was $133.00 my bank amount taken was taken out was $140.70
