Nothing overall experience was excellent
CONNIE COnly complaint I have is there were no moving blankets available after I had already reserved the truck and blankets in advance and no one contacted me to let me know they were not available.

Truck has numinous issues, nonworking left headlight,leaking roof, etc. The guy from the return location said that based on the keychain, the truck is supposed to only be rented for local use only, not supposed to be for 400 miles trip like mine. I would say truck with safely issue should not be rented out, or at least make the customer aware that it should not be driven at night!

RHONDA DI contacted the location and ask if it would be ok for me to be a little late returning the unit and was told it would not be a problem. I was not informed it would cost me another days rental. I have called them again and have been told that they had no option available to them to not charge for another day. This should have been stated up front. My daughter and I are both senior citizens and it took us a little longer to load and unload the truck than we thought.

ALLEN POnly had one Truck available, the smaller one I needed was "out of service", but on display. The one I rented burned 10 gallons of fuel for 34 mile round trip.

jerome bThe windshield wipers we’re far from operational. They were definitely a safety hazard. It was raining during the time of my move. In addition I filled the truck up to the half way mark and saw I was charged $18.55 for fuel. It was at the halfway mark when I started the truck. The receptionist told me she wasn’t sure if anyone drove the vehicle (specifically a coworker) since I dropped it off Monday evening. She said she took a picture of the fuel line and it wasn’t at half a tank. It’s $18.55 which isn’t much but it’s the principle because I don’t cut corners in life (military/ law enforcement background) an certainly wouldn’t try get over on anyone. So no I wouldn’t recommend this location to a friend.

David MI initially made a reservation with Compass Self Storage (206 N Berkeley Blvd Goldsboro, NC 27534). I checked in online and they said 1 item was missing. I arrived to find out they gave my reserved truck to someone else. I also would not have the equipment I reserved. The employee was then really happy when she found me a smaller truck a few miles away. The other place, Security Mini Storage (2724 US Hwy 117 S) was better. I was given a truck with 1/2 tank of gas. I was told to return it with at least a half tank of gas. I was asked to be back by a time earlier than I expected. When I expressed concern, I was told it was ok because I was there first. Someone had a reservation too. Needless to say, I was not able to get all of my stuff moved and no longer have the men I hired to help. Absolutely horrible, horrible experience!

William BThe lady in Goldsboro was fantastic. The vehicle that I rented was completely disgusting. There found siver and long hair all over my clothes shoes and clothes, There was a big foot print on the windshield and the odors coming from that cabin area was ridiculous. That truck need a good cleaning before its rented out again. IT WAS COMPLETELY FILTY.....

The only thing is the rental could be a little bit better for someone who would rent it by the week and make sure people know where a drop box is in case you carry it back on Sunday when they're closed.
