RICHARD BULDAAwful experience! Even though all details were provided online prior to picking up, I was asked for tons of details. Was asked to share the contact details of a third person whom U-haul called and verified about me in front of me. Asked for a second photo ID bedsides DL It was embarrassing. Never had to go through anything like this before. The vehicle was dirty. Even the windshield was not clear. Not going to rent U-haul anytime soon.

A more direct reminder/statement to top off the gas back to the starting level would be good. After arriving at the return and then being warned to top off required going back out to find gas.

Veronica Natividadwhen i called the Poway phone number, i was transferred to a central call center. i was not aware of this, and made a reservation for a truck, and when i went to Poway to pick up the truck, i was informed that it was at another location. i was not happy about this and Lee at the Poway location agreed to let me have one of his. switching locations on me without making sure that i understood is unacceptable. you need to do better.

richard herculesI reserved a truck in October on a Friday morning and returning it on Saturday afternoon was not a problem at this same location. I called and said I wanted the same truck and pickup Friday morning and return Saturday afternoon for a November event. When I got the email agreement it said return by 9 am on Saturday which does not work for me. I called the number on Thursday a day before pickup and the national operator said if I keep it longer than 9 am I would just have to pay an additional fee. He should of called the location before promising me that. On Friday November 4th when I arrived to pick up the truck I was told that it must be returned by 9 am Saturday November 5th because they rented it on Saturday. This was never explained to me, I could not return it Saturday morning, I was very upset. The sales person at the location Adriana Garcia was not helpful in trying to fix my problem and did not seem to care that I was upset. I asked her if the van outside was available to rent (which she should of offered me that option) and it was. I took the van which was too small for what I needed but had no choice and no time to find another location with a rental truck. That is something she should of offered to make a few calls to find me a truck but she did not. Overall a horrible experience, my business needs vehicles several times a year but I will never rent again from Scripps Poway Self Storage. Jim Duckworth 858-564-0780 x6663

Maureen EliasMake a better sign to release the brake release on the truck. The alarm ring is loud and annoying. It took me a while on how to release it. I couldn't see the lever when I was sitting down on the seat and had no idea how to shut off the noise.

jim curryI believe I was overcharged for CDW insurance. The paperwork I received from UHaul said it was $10 and my bill said $20. I will call the office where I rented the van and check with them. Otherwise the service was excellent and the vehicle more than met my needs.
