Jeff @ Scotties Skateland booked me my truck on the phone even though his business was not open at that hour, so a big "Thanks" to him. When I went to pick up the truck at Sav-a-Lot, the manager struggled with the online paperwork. She was exceedingly nice, but I had to upload and submit my own DL due to difficulties with U-Hauls website (this is the second time I have seen a reputable business struggling--perhaps a website redesign is needed and some backend software "kinks" ironed out at the corporate end?). The truck ran fine (though it seemed convinced that I was not wearing my seat belt when I was...loose wire most likely. I reported it to Sav-a-Lot when I turned in the truck...which leads us to the biggest problem. There was no one qualified to process my truck return on a Wednesday afternoon. They were extremely nice about it, but they were going to wait until tomorrow morning to process my return. My wife made some calls and was able to expedite the process, but it seems like they need to train more staff on the rental and return procedure. I was a local user, but what if I wasn't? I might be several hundreds of miles away and disagree about some aspect of the bill. Returning in person might be impossible. It could lead to problems, though again in this case it didnt. I did recommend my pickup location contingent upon them training more staff in the procedure to avoid problems. They were very pleasant and easy to work with.

The manager at the store needs some training on the equipment and the computer program. She figured it out and I already knew how to attach the trailer, but she should have some training. She was very nice and intelligent.

The app was a struggle. The contract was reset. I was charged twice. It's being fixed I'm told but it was very frustrating. Location was great. Everyone was friendly.

The cab was dirty; cigarette ashes and food littered the floor. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the air. U-Haul signage was insufficient inside store, so it was difficult to find leasing office.

The u haul took to much gas I only went 175 miles and it is saying I went 300 and some I had to pay 200 dollars in gas that's ridiculous

The rental wasnoriginally scheduled for pickup at 4:30pm on theb25th but the guy was not there to do the rental until 7pm. Which meant we lostbourbdaylightbto load it ansbitbtooknthatbmuch longer to get things done. I feel that I should be paid since I couldnt pick up when needed. Shouldbhave listenedbnot to go to this facilitybwhen warned.

The truck had seen better days, even before loading it lacked power to barley pull itself. Also the body had so many x's on it, looked like that was the design you were going for.

have electrical hookup options on cite. so someone towing with a vehicle that doesn't have the one hookup that's needed with the trailer that I used.

The lock on the back was not able to open and I lost over 5 hours waiting on a person to come and fix/cut it. I was only aloud a extra hour to get things done. I don't think I got it back in time and got penalized I don't think that was fair.

When I arrived (early) like I was told to do, there was no data connection to use mobile check in. Then the key was frozen in the lockbox. I went in for help and no one “knew what to do”. After an hour, I finally got the back opened and the frozen doors open. The truck was dirty inside and there was barely any gas. I had to rent an extra day just because it took almost two hours to pick up the U-Haul.
