Uhaul is the worst company to rent from. They were supposed to have a 6Ã-12 trailer reserved for me in Lynnwood and when I showed up after driving clear across Steven's pass to get the truck I reserved (and was supposed to picked up in seattle)Seattle. They didn't have it. So when I went to get this trailer they tried charging $1,000 for a 5x8. Terrible experience. And when I filed an action file they didn't return my call. I will be making a thorough video of everything and post it on YouTube.

This is more reflective of uhaul in general… My reservation for a 15 foot truck was downgraded to a 10 foot(without warning), so I wasn't able to move all my belongings. I was given “free” mileage And an extra day. However I was moving one way and it was short distance. I was charged the same as for a 15ft. Also, the pickup location was changed (without prior warning). It was supposed to be contactless, but I had to go into business to have my check out completed.

the people, couple who administrate the process in the gas station treated me unprofessionally. They sounded very rude without respect. They also missed reserve item so I had to request refund when I return the truck. for the return, there was no kind of receipt at the time ore return. they just received key from me and told me to process later in the evening. When I received receipt by email next day, the refund and charge was off. The number didn't match up and I asked them for the clarification on the phone, the lady was very rude and aggressive. They were not able to explain why the numbers are off and I requested the correct refund amount. They told me to come to their location then they will refund me. I don't get it why they don't refund through the system. So I asked them why I have to be there and why don't they refund with the system, then she hung up on me. I don't trust this location for any business. I called U-haul customer service to request the correct refund amount and they issued the refund.

Three hour drive in traffic for two vehicles. I had to pay for fuel to get it to my location. Truck had been wrecked and the driver side door was bent, so there was so much wind noise for 4 days I couldn't talk to my wife while driving. No wiper fluid. Will not rent from Uhaul again. Maintain frucks. When a customer reserves two months in advance, don't make him drive hours to get truck.

This gas station shouldn't have a uhaul. They are rude, and disrespectful to people and double charge your credit cards without warning. This is the worst experience I've had with uhaul and would sooner pay a stranger with a truck

When I saw the drop off location was empty on the contract I ask to fill that out and that ball rolling and he said no worries Just Google uhual locations in that area and any uhual business would take it. So a uhual representative answered my question about the drop off and slap to my face that information was incorrect. When someone called from uhual AFTER dropping it off at a uhual location we had drive the trailer to an approved location. An ambassador of the company give me wrong information. How is it Im asking questions and getting wrong information? I will never use uhual. In the process of buying a trailer to avoid ever using this company again. I needed to transport a car 3 hours away and the process of dealing with company took more time then needed.

The drop-off was a complete nightmare. When I reserved my truck I chose a drop-off location that was close to my home. It was changed to Lynnwood and then changed to Seattle. Both of those locations are extremely far away. I tried to return the truck online but it would not work. I then got a message with an address in Everett to drop off the truck so I drove there. The man could not accept the truck because it was changed AGAIN. I had to drive to another location to drop it off. Moving is very stressful and after a long day of moving to deal with this was very upsetting. The return process for your trucks needs to be fixed. No one should have to deal with this mess. I am very unhappy with the way that went.

The people at this location didn't seem very friendly, short in their answers to my questions and did not help when I was told on the phone I would get help with the auto transport. I went to a main ai haul center 2-3 miles away and paying them to help me secure my vehicle.

Was sent to this location from the Marysville UHaul on State St.. since they had no room at their location. This was a one way drop off. Was charged $24.83 fee for ? It wasn't an after hours drop off..(6PM) The clerk just looked at my contract, took the keys and said I was good. He never inspected the truck or verified the gas gauge.

I didn't like that UHaul pre charged me for certain amount of miles and when delivering at Drop Off I had less miles that what is was calculated, the lady at the counter at U Haul said that they don't don't reimburse money if less miles are used. I don't understand why I have to pay for extra miles but I can't be reimbursed for less miles usage on their auto calculation.

This was a gas station, with a couple of street people (drug users) on the property. The staff sent them away, but I had to deal with them on the way in. Otherwise, the staff was efficient and speedy. No offer to explain how to use the equipment, but I figured it out soon enough.

Hey were not very verbal. It was taking them a long time going back & forth between computers. I'm not sure whether the hold up was the computer ..the program ..or it was new to them - they said very little. One would expect …sorry for the delay …we're trying …the computer is slow. SOMETHING. Then, basically, gave me the key & off you go!

I made a reservation for 10' truck on Hewitt Ave in Everett. I got there and they had no truck. They phoned around and found one 5 miles away. Paid for extra mileage. Again. Even though I had a reservation at a closer location. "What can we do to improve?" Learn the definition of "reservation."

Employees were very rude, rather than explaining how the rental pick up and return went they told me to just research it myself. When I asked employees a question about possibly getting a smaller Uhaul due to the one I rented being a little too big, they offered no help and said I needed to figure it out myself. I felt very uncomfortable there.

The guy in charge didn't tell me how it worked, until I was paying, he said I should pay per mile, which is not told on the publicity, you may think you can rent the van for only 19.49, but no. He even made me fill the van with gas, so I was not 19.49 but I ended up paying almost 70 for less than an hour. I should've chosen other moving van services. He was rude, in a hurry, not kind at all. Anyways I'll never rent a van with uhaul again.

I picked this truck up, from a gas station attendant who didn't go over ANY of the Uhaul contract info. He basically threw the keys to me. As such, I accepted the vehicle and moved my belongings. Imagine my surprise when I was automatically changed more than $70.00 for fuel that wasn't reviewed or verified by me OR YOUR employee. I will never be grifted by your company again. I had no idea what the fuel level was upon pick up. I had no idea what the cost was upon drop off. I was NOT charged market price for the fuel. I was taken advantage of. Never again. Plenty of other, better options.

There was no windshield washer fluid, and there were some screws and bolts on the floor in the bed as well as a couple Lego pieces. The driver side door weather stripping also needs to be replaced, and the window handle kept popping off every time I used it. Also the steering column is crooked and there was a wrench and gear indicator light on. Otherwise it worked as needed and drove long distance without issue. Truck #2818

The woman who was working at this gas station/food mart when I arrived at 8:45am to pick up the truck was meaner than a junkyard dog. I asked if I could check in (NO!!!) or wait until 9am in the truck. She angrily yelled at me that WE ARE NOT OPEN YET! (I was standing inside the open store)... I WILL CANCEL YOUR TRUCK! (have no idea why she said this to me twice, but fortunately she did not). I went out into the parking lot and tried to call UHaul but was on hold for 40 minutes without ever getting through. A man who had been hanging around outside swept out the (locked) truck but would not help me further. I went back into the store and the woman did give me the key, but continued to yell at me "WE ARE NOT OPEN"! I have no idea why she acted like this.

The passenger side mirror needs a spot mirror added to increase visibility. You may want to check the u-joints and or rear end, every time I put the truck in drive I could hear a clunk.

Expected a full tank of gas but only had a little over 1/4 tank so had to fill before even leaving the lot. The back was not clean and had not been swept out. The attendant behind the counter was pleasant but the person that took me to the truck was rude, tossing the keys to me before even getting to truck then walking away.

1. I requested a 26 foot truck and was later told they point had a 20 foot truck available but said because of this that they would provide me an extra free day with the truck and was also told that if I needed more time with the truck that I could call the morning of the scheduled date of return (Friday) and just let them know and I would be able to have it for another day. Friday morning I called as directed and spoke to a different U-Haul representative to extend my time with the truck and was told that they wouldn't do that and that they needed the truck back by noon (it was then about 9:30am and I was a few hours away from the scheduled return destination). After informing the representative what I was previously informed she very rudely sighed and said that the longest I could keep it was 5pm and that after 5pm it would no longer be under contract. Might I add that I was moving my entire 4 bedroom household independently in a heatwave following my husband's death that resulted in my children and I losing our home. Because of needing to rush to return the truck against what I was previously informed it resulted in me suffering numerous injuries with trying to return the truck on time. Upon returning the truck I returned the truck with less than half a quarter tank worth of gas that I received it and was charged like $67 for fuel costs. I feel completely taken advantage of and had a horrible experience

I signed up for a 10' reservation from u-haul in Seattle as the preferred location. 24 hours before the reservation, they call and change my location to Everett. It would have taken 1 hour and 50 minutes and 3 buses to get to this new location or close to $70 for a private carshare. The customer service agent was unable to provide any discounts for the trouble. The rental pick up location was a gas station that did not feel safe. The truck keys were handed to me without any checks on brakes/lights or viewing the dirty interior.

I called and booked a uhal via the phone due to the concern of checking the box that the truck was not available at the location I needed. The representative assured me the truck was there and there were no issues. The week of my move I was buying boxes and asked an in store representative if I needed to do anything regarding my uhaul. He stated my truck was available and no further action. On Wednesday I received a call saying my uhaul was not available. I missed the call and my order was cancelled. I called back the customer service number and spoke to a representative that told me she was unable to help. I asked her to transfer me to a manager. She transferred me back to the general line. The next representative I spoke to was able to get me a larger truck in an inconvenient location. She was understanding of my frustration. On Friday, I received a call saying the larger truck I booked was unavailable and I had to drive even further to a different location to pick up the truck. At the location I was told the price was going to be roughly $600 instead of $430. I told the representative that was incorrect and he told me I had to return the car to Corvallis, OR for a cheaper price. When I looked at my confirmation I had to return the truck to Eugene, OR. The entire experience was unpleasant and extremely unorgaizied. I was very disappointed with the customer service provided and being sent in many directions even though my uhaul was booked a month in advance.
