I reserved a 7:30AM time slot and could not pick my truck up until 10AM when the store open. The 7:30 AM time slot should not have been available. This very negatively impacted my move in and made the entire day very difficult. Further, when the store finally did open and I got in a few minutes after 10, the store clerk did not seem to know how to get me the keys. I did not get the keys until 10:45AM. The truck felt very unsafe, the alignment was off and it was shaky. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I received it!!!! Horrible experience. Will likely not be using UHaul again.ASHLEY B.
Mixed review. Cab was a little dirty, but overall fine. When I later opened up the back, water had leaked in from rain the night before, so it was wet. It seemed like the cargo area wasn't in the best shape. Made it a little difficult to keep things dry that we loaded in the back later. Warning lights on the Stabilitrak, to service, then came on right away too. Ultimately didn't have any problem, and later most of the lights/warnings went away, so not sure what that was all about. Rental system seems to be having issues. When we initially booked this, someone called right after to rebook to a different location that actually offered the hourly rental. When we tried to book a rental space originally several weeks ago, when we got to the location they told us the system was reserving space that wasn't available and we didn't get any real help rectifying that and had to scramble to find storage somewhere else at the last minute. Experience with Uhaul lately has not been good.MITCHELL B.
Very rude. Did not explain anything when we came to pick up the truck and on top of that never told us what our bill was and that if we wanted to know we would have to wait for the email for the receipt. Try looking at the customer next when they're talking to you and at least explain what you're doing because we don't want to be overcharged.Pradeep S.

Shady location. Hard to find if there's a UHAL center there. Vehicle is full of smoke smell and too old with heavy mileage. No backup camera even. Don't prefer this location at allRaleshreddy T.

Location was closed on arrival. Pickup time delayed by 20-30 minutes. I had reserved a furniture dolly and a full appliance dolly, but neither dolly was available in the truck nor was it mentioned on pickup. Terrible experience, will not use this location again.Ncebazikamdali N.

I had a reservation to pick up a 10' box truck at 6:00pm. The truck didn't show up until 7:00. The floor in the back was really dirty. The right rear tire was low on air. I also did not receive the furniture pads that I was charged for. I will never return to that location and I may rent from Penske the next time I am in need of a box truck.Adam C.
Convenient for the location and very efficient, but the cab wasn't very clean and the workers at the shop didn't wear masks. I'd go there again but it was pretty meh overallPhil W.
So much for a contactless pick-up and drop off. I had to get the keys from someone in a shady-looking strip center, not wearing a mask. I wondered around looking for the Uhaul location because of the 12-inch by 12-inch window sign that could not bee seen from the parking lot. The person on doing the check-in on the phone was - RUDE!! The process took way too long - eating up my reserved time. Overall not a good experience, won't do it again.William C.

Not offer this location to anyone that is female or white. I experienced a level sexist, racism and discrimination in the amount of time it would take a for this company to loose my business. In addition, the app for a no contact pick up is terrible. I was to pick my rental up at 7:30 am. The location does not open until 10 AM. Enjoy my money now because I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN! the truck was filthy, the interior light was literally falling out of the ceiling. At rerun I used the app and was expecting a call due to my comments and nothing. Your company is horrible.Stacy T.
Online pick up service is horrible. The only reason I rated higher was because the sale clerk in the market helped me. Uhaul in general sucked. Long wait times and did not rectify the problem, although they said they did. Had to start a new contract with onsite clerk.Laura D.
Unfortunately, our UHAUL Equipment that we had requested online was not available when we picked up our truck. This was disappointing and negatively impacted our move and overall UHAUL experience. But the dealer was still very helpful and kind throughout the entire interaction.Jeffrey R.

I could not use the self check-in because it could not verify me and when I sent into location to check-in, there was nobody there who could process the transaction. I had pickup at 330 and did not leave with rental until 430. There were service lights on in the vehicle while I was driving it. Did not feel safeDenise B.

The app would not allow me to take a photo to show the condition of the truck. I had to wait several minutes to get the key, even though it says doing online allows me to skip the line. The cashier kept assisting other customers who were purchasing items from the store instead of helping me. The truck was disgustingly dirty inside with trash in the back of the truck. The actual location is a convenience store so maybe they should just concentrate on that.Anita D.

***This only pertains to the sandalwood location, any other location/service uhaul provides is not under this comment*** At first I wasn't able to click through the app at all and found out that my reservation wasn't completed by the dealer properly, had an area manager come out and fix it. My equipment Dolly and furniture pads were not in the box when we opened the cargo door. I had to go to the Sinclair road site to pick up my furniture pads. I do appreciate Kevin, the area manager, for making things right.David G.

someone broke glass on trailer I had to clean off before loading my car.I think a person thru out a beer bottle passing by and would be no fault of u-haul location or staff,and I had no problem cleaning off trailer.Very nice staff and would use this location if in the area again.Donald G.

I was charged more than I was to be changed. The store recommended a smaller truck than I needed and it coast me more in moneyJOSHUA H.
I was charged $29.95 for the truck, $0.79 x 40.00mi which is the $31.60. Totaling $61.55 before tax and $67.25 after taxes. I only put 33.5 mi on truck. There needs to be an adjustment to what I was charged. I did bring this to the attention of the representative upon returning the truck but no changes have been made yet. The truck had less fuel than the paperwork stated as well. This was brought to the rep's attention also. I did however return the unit with more fuel than when I initially received it. I also stated I'd have the truck until 4:pm but returned it by 2:pm. I believe I am due a credit versus being charged â€œmoreâ€. I do not believe this experience properly represents the normal business policies so I am sending this email confident that this issue will be resolved rather quickly. Thanks, Galen T. Make sure that the business hours for the location in U-Haul's side are accurate. My pickup was scheduled and confirmed for 9:30am but the business did not open until 10:00am which was very unfortunate because I ended up paying movers an extra half hour for nothing.Anthony G.

The rep did not really seem to know what they were doing. They weren't able to provide me with a receipt, and one of the patrons was threatening them with Physical assault. To ensure that there were no issues with the return I chose to drop off at a more familiar location.Andrew E.

I have never had so much trouble with something as simple as picking up a rental truck. The online account set up process was terrible. I was able to get through the entire process except for the last step. The website was supposed to send me a final verification code via email and it was never sent. Additionally, the Sandalwood location forgot to put the keys in the truck for an 8:00 AM pickup and I literally sat in the parking lot for an hour and a half waiting for the store clerk to show up to realize he had forgotten to put the keys in the truck. I will never use U-Haul again. I also assume they will do nothing to make this better. This was an absolutely horrible experience.Joan J.

BEEN USING UHAUL FOR YEARS! EVEN WHEN I COULD HAVE GONE WITH OTHER COMPANIES AND SAVE MONEY I STUCK WITH UHAUL BECAUSE THEY WERE WHO I KNOW. Another carryout with a person at the counter who had no idea what to do. I do not trust I was charged fairly and will go out of my way to avoid the dangers of Uhaul in the future. You're lucky my 6 foot 5 hubby was with me because there's NO Way a lady would endure the pick up or drop off by herself. Apparently you only care to sell to men. I can't tell you how turned off I am by this experience and how many people I plan to share it with; all of my female friends on social media and in person need to know how seedy an operation this was.brian W.
