Don't make your customer drive 90 minutes to pick up a trailer at a SECOND location from the truck (which was 45 minutes from the original location). This move was awful and I won't be using UHaul again for moving purposes.Christopher C.

When I left I was told the gas was â€œnearly fullâ€. What does that mean? How can I know how much gas to put in? The previous day I made the exact same route and paid $4 in gas. Yesterday I paid $24.02 in gas for the same 4-5 miles. I thought you were supposed to fill the tank. This was my mistake-but somehow you should make clear what you are supposed to do and how. How do I put in gas so it's â€œnearly fullâ€? I hope I'm getting a refund. Not sure how that could happen,unless you send a check to an address I no longer live at. The overall service is great-but the gas refilling business is a mess.ANITA S.

All though I did return the equipment late. I don't think 2.5 hours on a Sunday justifies charging me a full days rental. My receipt says I returned at 5:22 pm when actually it was 2:30 pm. The employee did not speak very good English, no problem with me, but my return was entered 3 hrs after I actually returned it. Let's see if someone cares?? Or if anyone from the company reads these things. Will still use U-Haul in the future but will probably use a different dealer.DAVID A.

This was a gas station that also rented U-Haul vehicles. They were short staffed, so I had to hitch the 12' trailer to my car and then wait for the attendant to check my work.Peter D.

To go over in more details about costs. $$ per miles etc. It is advertised 19.95. Then + 20 Insurance then+ cost per miles. I used one van 1 day and end up being almost 70 dollars + of course the gas money. If people knows an estimate on front they will probably pay for the service either way and not feel ripped off or scammed after,HECTOR P.

The truck was a piece of junk! Muffler was gone, it was all over the road on the highway and had 120,000 miles on it. Poor condition and I was accused of leaving 2 small carpets in the truck and I'm positive they were not mine. The franchise guy insisted he cleans all his trucks out, so I said â€œ we have a difference of opinion because they are not mine. Furthermore, I asked if I could throw them in your trash containerâ€ He said we don't have any trash here. I would recommend that the customer should always be right if a company wants to be a leader. This UHaul location was a poor example for your company. GraciasCHRISTOPHER L.

Last minute moving situation left me in a bind and this uhaul location at sams auto truly helped me with everything I needed. A stressful situation turned into a good one. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a very sweet gentleman who was ready to help me. I was there for maybe 7 minutes. I received a van that looked brand new. Had zero issues. The next day I was still in a bind and needed a few more hours. A quick phone call and I was able to extend the time I had with the uhaul. I was unable to get in touch with the uhaul down the street and I am THANKFUL. I've rented a uhaul before and have had some awful experiences, but not this time. Thank you to sams auto for being so flexible and helpful during my crazy times! I'll never get a uhaul from anywhere else!Amber D.
The owner of Sam's auto on kenoza ave Haverhill ma 01831 was extremely rude unprofessional and straight up ignorant. Not only did he lie about the mileage he over charged me and swore at my mother and tried to attack me. I rented a van that was supposed to be 19.95 a day and .69 Â¢ a mile. He said I drove 27 miles which is completely wrong I did 3 trips that are .3 miles each direction the furthest trip I took was 2.3 miles each direction and that was 1 trip. I can walk to the storage place it's that close and the u-haul store is less than a mile from me. I can provide each coordinate and prove it. They must have gps. Just the owners aggressive reaction alone should be enough to terminate his contract for u-haul, he is slandering your name by acting like a buffoon to customers. I am a business owner and I would never act like that to a customer. I want a thorough investigation into this I have two witnesses and I am sure he must have video surveillance there. This is ridiculous and should have never happened I was literally robbed and almost attacked by a man who is representing the u-haul name bBurlinda C.
