When checking in a vehicle after hours, have them take the picture of the miles and gas gage first then scan the location bar code on the building door. I had already put my key in the key slot,scanned the bar code and then it wanted me to go back out to the parking lot and take a picture and i couldn'tbecausei no longer had the key. Before leaving the vehicle I did take a picture for my records but it wouldn't let me up load that one. It had to be in real time.

I was overcharged by UHaul for a fuel charge. I picked up the truck with 1/2 a tank of fuel and brought it back with 5/8 of a tank. They charged me 65 for the fuel after I had already replaced the 20.34 in fuel. Consequently,it cost me an extra 85 dollars for gas. I have disputed the extra charge, however this is very frustrating and could be resolved by simply keeping the trucks full.

Representative ignored us when we came to pick up the vehicle. He kept working on his computer for over five minutes without even greeting us. The dog and cat paid attention to us but he just acted as if we were not even in the room. When I returned the vehicle, he did the same thing. I waited at the counter, five feet from him, but he just looked down at his desk ignoring my presence. Finally, he looked up took the key and just nodded. When I made the reservation by phone, the lady I spoke with was wonderful. She was helpful, acted interested in my needs, and was repectful.

First, I had to drive an hour out of my wah to pickup the uhaul because no locations had a 20' truck. Then, I ordered a dolly and pads; get there and the equipment I ordered isn't there!!!!! I call customer service and it says it is a 29 minute wait. We were on a time limit, that is unacceptable. My boyfriend called the sales line and got right through to someone. It was 10am and we were told we could wait for our location to open at 1pm! Or She found a dolly and pads, another hour out of the way. I literally laughed at her. We ended up asking for a refund and did without because it was too much of a hassle. I will never rent with uhaul again. It was an awful experience. This whole ordeal was unacceptable service.

let me pick up the truck where i go to order the truck provide a truck with less than 80,000 miles on it when i am traveling half way across the country deliver truck with a full tank of gas cuz its impossible to return with exactly 5 8ths of a tank why charge a clean up fee when the truck was not at all dirty when returned.

Rob was fast and efficient. I had done the registration and check in online and when I arrived he got the trailer hooked up and we were on our way in no time. Very nice and answered all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend using them again.

I wasn't thrilled about booking online and having my pickup and drop off locations changed. It added miles to my trip and cost me an extra mileage fee. I guess it's the nature of the business but I think the extra mileage should've been waved. Otherwise a good experience.

The Salem location was fine, but my reservation was supposed to be for 10:00 a.m., and when I received the phone call regarding my pick-up location on Saturday, i was told that it was for 1:15 and 45 minutes away. I was not pleased! This later time really affected our move, making it extremely difficult. I have always used u-haul in the past. I will think twice the next time.

The truck was not real clean when I got in the cab and neither was the bed part. The mileage is a scam for real. Other than those things it was a smooth process and the representative was nice.

Let's begin there was a ashtray in the uhaul that slide from under the seat as soon as I hit the brakes not only that the uhaul broke down on us 3 times had to sit in 30 below weather for about an hour before it restarted I have video and pictures

It took 2 trips to get the rental - your on line renting is terrible- had to call 2 times and got a very nasty girl ( second person on the first call)hade to redo the whole rental- took from 11:00pm and I got home at 1:30pm - and I live 2 minutes away- This is the second time I have used U- haul - not a fan at all

I was over charged and lied to by the Uhaul in Salem, Ohio. He was very rude and unprofessional! He charged me for cleaning a clean uhaul and the ledge inside was dirty when I rented it! I is treated very unfairly by those people and I will never go back.
