The fact that I had to call and make changes to the truck due to the first truck not working and had to call to find the key and that no one was there to help with this was bad. I spent about 1 hour on the phone trying to make it work and get the truck. I was not pleased at all.

Please try to let customers know more than twenty four hours in advance if you don't have the size requested. I was notified 72 hours before that we were good to go with the size requested. The afternoon before the day of the move I was notified that size wasn't available. I had to call the office and recruit a friend with a trailer. It is also hard to read the gas line on these trucks. I thought I had filled it to the line only to discover with a later charge that I had not done so.

Great service!! They notified me by text confirming my appointment to pick up a Uhaul truck. It was ready to pull out when I go to the location. Lady behind the counter was nice and helpful when I had questions.

There seems to be major communication issues between this location and U-Haul. We were accused of not leaving the key to the truck and threatened to be billed for more days. The gentleman that call me would not listen that we the key had been place in the drop box. Later we went by and saw the truck had been moved. So I guess they found the key. Also the were unhappy with where we parked the truck there was no where else to park it. May they should find a new location.

The truck was blocked in and they use a make shift drive in the back to move the trucks in and out which you have to jump a curb. It was a nightmare getting that big truck out and no one was there to move the ones blocking the drive. However the truck was fine and clean.

When your changing the location that your customer ask for you need to let them know a couple days in advance not the day before pick up. Also if you don't have the equipment on hand that was request, email one of you U-Haul location and have it send there. I requested some pads and they said that they were out of them and than found some dirty ones in the back and gave them to me to use (4 each) also they didn't have any dolly on hand. Late the location I request to pick up the truck was two miles from the location we're moving, I have to drive 39 mile out he way to pick up the truck, because they change the location. Due to my requested location not having the truck on hand ( A& B Storage) 231 Troy Highway. Also their are four other U-Haul locations in Troy, why not use one of these.

My experience with the Luverne U-haul service was pleasant; however, the treatment I received as a customer following protocol in renting a truck was disappointing. I reserved a truck in my local area and received confirmation within minutes. One week later, my reservation for that area is transferred to another area an hour away from me. The owner of that facility called me, even though I was in the process of calling U-haul regarding the matter, and informed me that the 15 foot U-haul was promised to someone and she cancelled the reservation. I then made ANOTHER reservation for a truck that showed available and one second after the confirmation email was received a representative called to tell me THAT truck was unavailable. The options she gave were an hour and a half to two hours away. On my own, I found a truck that was twenty minutes away. Though I reserved a fifteen foot truck, I had to settle for a ten foot truck. I have used U-haul in the past and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

My overall experience was pretty good. The Uhaul representative was really nice. The only thing I can say that was a little nervous for me was that the equipment seemed to have a skip of some sort while driving.

We arrived at the drop off business @ 7:30AM on Monday July 27. The scheduled drop off of the vehicle was 7:55am. Upon arrival the location designated as the UHAUL business was CLOSED and would not open until 8:30am per the sign on the window. There was NO DROP BOX for the key at this location. We left the vehicle at the site and went to breakfast... we were BACK at the dealership at 8:30 am to turn in the key. The management directed us to the next door to the PAWN SHOP. We were told that we would have to pay an additional days rental on the vehicle. Due to the fact that they did not have the key in hand at 7:55am which was the check in time. We told them that it was impossible for us to put the keys in their hand because they were NOT THERE until 8:30am. They informed us that there was a drop box on the front of the PAWN SHOP. The Pawn Shop IS NOT connected to the building that had the UHAUL RENTAL sign/hours displayed. There was no way for US to know that the two businesses were connected in any way. They instructed us that we would have to pay another day rental any way. We do NOT feel that this is a just charge therefore we refuse to pay the additional amount. They then gave us a bill for the additional days rental with a surcharge of $30 extra totaling $71.40. If you can show just cause why we should pay this additional amount we will pay it.

The reservation system is very poor. Personal were nice but to send me over two hours to pick up on the day before the PU when I was given a PU in Alexander City, 30 min away on the Wed prior to the PU is terrible. I had no flexibility for changing my schedule to accommodate U Haul's incompetence.

I tried to pick up a truck in Andalusia at The Treasure Box. I attempted to pick it up on three different occasions!!! They did not have the key to the truck, and the service was beyond poor!!!!!! The store in Luverne which is 45 miles from Andalusia really saved my weekend. They were courteous and helpful and got me on the road in just a few minutes. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I rented a 14ft truck and a auto transport. I had a blow out on the trailer ( I was on I-85 over 2 hours before I got any help from U-Haul) and the truck leaked and ruin an antique dresser, a shelf, soaked my king size mattress/box springs, got my couch wet and some of my clothes. I'm disappointed that the vehicles and equipment was not checked out better. I was in rain for most of my trip but never dreamed my belongings was getting rained on. So disappointed.

The truck was poorly maintained. It skipped. Drove like a tank. The front end was out of balance. The shocks were awful. I hit a pot hole and the suspension was so bad it bounce, cause a secure T.V. to fall and break.

The pick-up process, which should have taken only a few minutes, took well over an hour, even though we were the only customers there. This was caused by the non-responsiveness of U-Haul's computer system, which was apparently unable to handle the volume of a holiday weekend. The poor operator of the pick-up location tried desperately to process the transaction. to no avail. She was clearly embarrassed and apologized profusely. The only way the transaction could be completed was for me to call my credit card company and obtain an authorization number. I find it incredulous that a company would rely on a clearly inadequate computer system.

I WAS TOLD BY THE REP IN LUVERNE THAT IF I RETURNED THE TRUCK EARLY I WOULD BE CREDITED FOR AN EARLY RETURNED. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AND I AM VERY UPSET THAT I WAS TOLD THIS. I RUSHED TO GET THE TRUCK RETURNED EARLY AND NOW I FIND OUT THE INFO I WAS GIVEN WAS NOT CORRECT. I AM NOT HAPPY. AFTER SPKING TO THE REP IN LUVERNE THIS MORNING SHE SAID SHE MADE A MISTAKE, THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AS I WAS EXPECTING SOME SORT OF CREDIT.
