They didn't even have the truck there. And then called me later to pick the truck up when I made the reservation and they told me that the truck was broken.

The additional moving supplies (moving blankets and dollies) were not available at this pickup location. The personnel at this location had almost no idea how to facilitate U-Haul pickups. They were very friendly and tried to help as best they could, they just had no training or experience.

The only thing I want to complain about is having to drive 40 miles to pick up the truck when I made the reservation a month ahead of time. I Picked a location closer to home. And was very surprised there wasn't a available truck close to my location. When you call the day before to inform us, leaves us with very little options.

Location is not in a part of town that is inviting to people from out of town. We also had 2 locations given to us; one on our contract and a different one on our text message after pick up. The "wrong " location was better lit, easier to find, and a business that was open 24 hours.

Process and location was fast and easy. Only downfall would be the trailer we used literally said "one way U-Haul", even online when we were searching for a motorcycle utility trailer we were able to pick up at 63103 location and drop off at 63138 location. Although we didn't reserve online, we saw that as an option. Once we were done with the trailer, I called Lusher 63138 location to see if were able to drop off at that location. They advise NO, that we would be charged a lot if we did. On the contract it says "location pick up" but I didn't see where it said we had to drop off at same location. Only indication was the actual drop-off process online; saying we had to be at same location where we picked up. It wasn't a big ordeal, but was really inconvenient being that the equipment literally says one-way and that we lived down the street from Lusher location. Would have rated 5 star if we were able to utilize the ONE WAY

This location should absolutely be shut down as a Uhaul pickup spot. They rented us a truck that had clearly been in an accident. When we asked about it, they said that the truck had been checked out and was fine. They also said that all of the damage had been documented. Neither of this was true. When I went to take “before” pictures of the truck in the Uhaul app, the pictures they had on file were of a pristine truck. In addition, after we got the truck home and packed for our 14 hour cross country move, we noticed that the turn signal light had fallen out of the front headlight (which had a bunch of damage to it) and was not usable. We ended up having to wait for several hours while Uhaul maintenance came and worked on it and eventually had to replace the entire headlight unit altogether as they said there was plastic damage to the casing and it could fall out at any minute on the road. The maintenance people were shocked that the Uhaul rental place would rent a truck in that condition to us. I would carry all of my belongings across country before ever renting from this location again.

The gas tank was only 1/4 filled, but other than that, everything was fine. Although this was not our preferred pick up location. Is it possible to guarantee a pick up location? We went to our preferred location, only to be told they did not have a truck for us. It was very disconcerting to have to drive around an unfamiliar city to find the location where our truck was located.

This did not seem like a safe location. This was a supermarket in a dangerous area that had a few trucks on their lot. I didn't feel comfortable going inside to get the keys. The pick up was not a good experience aside from the location because U-Haul called to confirm that I would be picking up the truck at 9am and also sent me an email confirmation for 9am. When I got there in the morning to check in they told me the truck wouldn't be available until 10am and they admitted they failed to notify me.

Showed up and my truck had no key. Requested and paid to have a dolly, and didn't have that. Then i paid $130.00 to use the U-Haul for 2 hours, not worth it and at a cost like that i will not be using U-Haul again.

This was the absolute worst U-Haul experience I have ever had, and perhaps the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Everything from start to finish was completely unprofessional and staff were incredibly rude. I did not feel confident or safe in my equipment transportation.

My location was changed the night before I was to drop it off. the lot that I had to pull into with a 26' truck was way to small. I had to park in front of an employee's car because there was no more Room on a lot to put this big of a truck

There was no lock box in front or side of store so had to get up early to bring key back. Did not want to just leave it in truck. Also next time I would much rather go through an actual person rather than online. It took way longer.

I was set-up to do self check in at 7 am, we arrived and the truck was there but there was no padlock to utilize. When I called the company they said the man would not get there until 8am. We lost an hour of moving time and made our friends who offered to help also sit around for an hour. When the man finally did arrive he seemed confused and ran my credit card twice. I showed him my credit card balance and he said it would fall off, It has not yet. Would NOT recommend.
