The adapter for light hook up would be nice if we could have just rented it with the trailer, we will have no need for it after today. The service and personal treatment was very good felt like I was talking to a friend instead of a stranger in a customer service venue.

The reason for the poor ratings is because all the windows and mirrors were covered with snow and ice which i had to clear off. I was given a window washer to clean it. It had a mesh sponge on one side and a sqeegee on the other side. It would not scrape ice off. I had to use my credit card to clean it off in 20 degree weather and took 15 to 20 minutes. The store never offered any help. I feel they should have cleared it off. That is my only complaint, the truck was very nice, almost new.

I was charged and extra 16 bucks for some reason from this place after I had already paid for the truck which was 135 bucks. I dont know why but if I paid 135 then I expected not to have to pay anymore money

Maria in Petersburg and Mason in Ft. Thomas were Outstanding. In between I called the only number on my rental paperwork for help and was routed to Phoenix. I spoke to two women, neither of whom could deviate from the drop off instruction script to help me. The worst part was the second woman, Samantha kept insisting that I would have to wait for the drop off location opened to get help there and refused to give me that phone number. Problem was she apparently was ignorant of the time zone difference between Arizona and Kentucky. If not for Maria & Mason, the Phoenix office people would have lost Uhaul my business forever. Replace or Retrain.

Either don't accept reservations for extra equipment that isn't maintained at the store or ensure the equipment is available. Follow through on contract changes... the self return app was trying to make me pay for gas I did not owe or lie and perpetuate the documentation inaccuracies.

The gentleman who was working was very helpful, knowledgeable and just a personable guy. Went in there to pick up a truck and ended up talking to him about football for a good 15 minutes. Really nice to see someone like that working the front, rather than pushing you out the door.

The text for sending pictures has an expiration: i wasn't aware. It makes sense, but try to push the staff to make that clear since it's not the kind of thing we all think about amidst a move. The back of the van was kinda dirty. It didn't interfere with my move, but i had to sweep up someone else's mess to avoid penalties. I didn't myself have anything dirty to handle, so it was a bit of a pain. Other than that, the clerk actually held the door open for me when he was approaching to lock it up! I made it at the same moment he was gonna close and he decided to help me anyway. I was very grateful since I wasn't gonna have another opportunity to do the work for a while.

....what service. You made me do the check in and check out myself..... I'm your customer not your employee. So your services were worse then bad they were nonexistent. I also feel that your pricing is way too high.... especially when you think it's my job to check and monitor your equipment. This is all poor and lazy way to so business.

The cargo van we rented went wonderfully. The van was great, we weren't overcharged, and it was exactly the right size for our move. That said--this location is a U-haul moving supplier in name only. I ordered online, but the manager/owner(?) sold us different boxes that were smaller and, though we ordered 4 x200-sheet packs of larger wrapping paper, he sold us 1000 sheets of paper for the same price I later realized was smaller sheets of paper. He's very nice. That said, there were interesting deviations from U-Haul's claims about what would be sold to us.

We arrived just after the store closed so we had to check in online. The website is confusing to use and we had trouble checking in online. We waited and waited but the “agent” on the other end was doing nothing, and didn’t respond to our messages on the website. Thankfully, the man working in the building was still there and was kind enough to help us check in to get our U-Haul even though he was off the clock and the store was closed. He demonstrated excellent customer service and we greatly appreciated it.

The card that the key is attached to occasionally got caught between my knee and the steering column causing a restriction when moving my foot from the gas to the brake pedal. Some instructions on using the features, cruise control, adjusting the mirrors and other controls, would be very helpful and improve safety.

The online sign up needs updating. It’s tedious and confusing when you go to pick up. Operators were helpful BUT you’re on hold FOREVER. 10-15 mins is too long. Also if you’re rental bus. is closed you cannot contact anyone for an earlier than scheduled pick up, so you go on eternal hold with U-Haul. Only positive since my reservation wasn’t set up even though I had confirmation #, they gave me bigger truck for smaller one but I didn’t need it and it wasn’t easy to maneuver! Will think twice about renting again.
