Arrived 10 mins before closing and doors were locked and no instructions or directions were given.
STAYLE POur reservation was set up by phone with the 800 number. She set it up for a main U-Haul property. The day before we get switched to Shepard Ave location. First it was in a business park e trembly hard to find. When we did find it, no one from U-Haul was there. The entire pickup was done by phone through a very nice gentleman in an adjoining office. It is very hard to agree to terms and such when you're not physically seeing things. Unbeknownst to us our drop off location was changed to a different. Pittsburgh location, miles from the PleasantHills location which could have cost us $$$. Very poor handling of a reservation. And kudos to the gentleman who patiently finished our pickup.

TAMOOR BIncredibly hard to find and once we did we had to redo all the info with the attendant for drop off, truck size, etc. that I previously filled out online. If you know people are moving and in the midst of a hectic time in life already it would make a huge difference to be considerate and make the process as seamless as possible.
Melissa EThis was a very small location and I am sure they are fine when they are open, but Saturday afternoon they were closed. I tried the u-Haul customer service line to switch locations but having to be switched to a scheduling manager is ludicrous, especially when the phone line cut off 3 times while I tried. Also the location I wanted to drop off at couldn't help. STUPID! So I ended up using the app to check in at the closed location. The app is WAAAAAY to tedious. Too many pictures, though I get that it is some protection for the renter that the truck wasn't damaged after dropoff. (I didn't think of that til now) . Still with slow internet, it takes forever. Downsize the resolution on the images would help. Usually when dropping off, I am done in minutes. This took me a half an hour with the back and forth with calling and using the app.

James EI had to remove some mess from inside the load compartment. Otherwise everything was very satisfactory with my experience.
Robert BI arrived at the location on time (maybe 10 minutes early) and was told the person who handled the U-Haul rentals went to lunch?! Really? A phone call was made to the person and they processed my contract over the phone (no truck pulled up or visibly present for me) with the other gentleman that was there. The truck was not prepared for me to pickup as most vehicle rentals are. I was handed a key and utility dolly, then advised to walk down the street to find the truck number that matched the key-that would be my truck! It was covered in snow and sandwiched between two other vehicles (car and another moving truck) with no room to maneuver it out. The tank was not full upon receipt as most rentals are. It was by far the most unpleasant, unprofessional, and unsatisfactory rental experience I have had. I had movers waiting on me to return as I lost close to an hour of time dealing with picking up the truck. It should have taken 15-20 minutes tops. I was not expecting a scavenger hunt and I would not use or recommend this location.
Khaleela ZMake sure snow and ice are cleared out of the parking lot & sidewalks where the trailers are returned to prevent personnel or equipment injury / damage. My spouse injured her left arm when she slipped and fell on the black ice when starting to guide the trailer back into an empty parking spot.

Hector PTruck did not have the gas in the level from the agreement (had a quarter less) and the equipment I needed it was not available (included in the reservation) worst rental experience , u-haul made me waste 2 hours of my moving day’s activities having me to go to a farthest location.

John KI didn't get my truck via my phone because it wasn't ready. Got it almost an hour late. Nobody was there to help me when I returned it early and I received a bill much higher than I anticipated. Very unhappy with the whole experience.
Jennifer LThis is for UHaul in general. Advise clients rates on 1 way rental change. I could of locked in a lower one way rate months earlier when I inquired and reserved my date. 3 months later in cost me $900 more
Edward HThe parking lot was hard to put the trailer in the space. Backing up was so hard to maneuver the trailer in the tiny space.
Kristin PTruck was not serviced. Front tire came off while driving on major highway. Could have ben killed as truck was barely brought under control. Then, UhHaul EMERGENCY hot line tool 3 hours to answer calls. Had to call state police and wrecker to be rescued. Then, U-Haul could not fix or replace truck. Rented PENSKE truck and refuse to pay U-HAUL. NEVER RENT U-HAUL !

Meghan RThe closing hours were way sooner than I expected (3p on a Saturday). I came to return the truck around 3:45p. When I had a question about returning the truck, the number to call, which was written on the window, was a number no longer in service. Then when I checked the QR code, also taped to the window, it was a url that no longer exists either. The man I met in the morning to pick up the truck was very kind, patient, and helpful! So nothing bad about any employee. Also, if you could have the size of the gas tank, that would be helpful too, especially when having to refill the gas.
Garrett HYou can tell the customer all details of the rental when they reserve the truck. This location did not advise me of the "safe move" fee, the mileage charges or anything else. When my trip was complete, he told me I'd be charged for 18 miles but was actually charged for 24. Not good.
Jessica MWhen I got to the location no one was there. I called and no pick up so I kept calling and calling finally he picked up. He then told me he would be there in 15 minutes roughly 33 mins later he showed up. When I dropped the truck off, he wasn't there again. Another Uhaul guy was waiting for him also. Just a poor experience overall.
Chris DTruck had a broken wiper blade and dirt/mud in the driver's cab area. Had to blow out the back of the truck with a leaf blower before using it.
Ed JVery small and no room to return equipment. I still have not received an electronic receipt/ email for the return. Absolutely poor customer service!
Shawn RWas not the location I chose and had to go like 40 miles out of my way to get my truck. The location was supposed to be open at 8:00 am but was still not open when I finally got my key from the lock box at 8:15. Very disappointed.
Stevi BWe had an issue with the truck not functioning in reverse, and Roadside assistance was no help. This review is mainly about this process - it took us hours, until we finally reached back out to the manager of this storefront, who came right over to help us.
Joe PGas was much lower than amount expected. To fill the tank cost over 100.00 and you're still trying to charge for extra miles. At the least it should be a split cost since we left over 3/4 of a tank left in the truck.

BABAWALESOLOMON OI waited an hour on hold because the app wouldn't allow me to check the vehicle back in. I won't go back to checking vehicles back in online after this experience.
Thomas Dthe parking lot was a little difficult to navigate with a trailer, especially as an inexperienced trailer puller. The staff there did offer to backup the trailer if I was uncomfortable doing it. The location was not well marked and slightly difficult to find.
NICHOLASJOSHUA SThey didn't ever put the dolley or furniture pads in the truck. Went back the next morning when they opened to try and get them and nobody was there. Then I tried calling them a minimum of 10 times throughout the day only to hear "this wireless customer is not available".
