Uhaul was very dirty, dirty drink marks in the console, dirt all over the floorboards. Owner was extremely late for me to be able to pick up. My pick up was 9 am i didnt leave until almost 10. I couldn't do a digital pick up. No one else (2 other employees) could check me out. I was standing outside waiting for him to arrive. Horrible location, I recommend going to Asheville or Waynesville. I just could walk from my now previous house.

There was one day I requested a U-Haul for a Sat went by several times gate was locked tried calling no answer so I know things happen just never sure what happened. Other than that everything has been great. Wish U-Haul could give a discount or something nice every now and then to customers who keep coming back!!!!

Only issue I had with this location was about how they handled my equipment drop off. I started receiving multiple texts and calls from UHAUL stating that I had yet returned my equipment and that it was going to affect other customers and their reservations. I had returned the equipment on time and where they directed me to, however they had not checked it back in. When I called they were not argumentative or anything and said they would take care of the issue. Then the next day I recieved a final email from UHAUL stating that I despite trying to call me and reach me on my provided info, that I had STILL not returned the equipment. Then less than 15 minutes later I get an email to the same address and it was a receipt of my transaction, with bo mention of the "delayed return"??

When I picked up the truck it was totally unacceptable. But I had no choice at that point. The person at the pickup location even asked me if he gave me a couple of dollars would I go vacuum it out. There was a half eaten sandwich in the dashboard, crumbs and sprinkles, and a massive amount of dog hair all in the cab of the truck. The previous person as I understand it, got it stuck in the mud and was mud all over the side of the truck. I took pictures it was so bad.

I reserved my truck and car carrier at a UHaul location within a mile of where I live. I was sent to the next town over 12 miles away. This is not the service I expected from UHaul.

First and foremost, the original location for pickup was in Bryson City. Upon showing up to get the dolly I was told that they didn't have a working piece of equipment for me to use. The closest was in Canton, NC, approximately 45-miles away. Not to mention that it was a Friday afternoon on New Year's weekend. After running to get to the new location, I was notified that the rental was now $45 more due to the new location, further away from Byson. I appreciate not being given the broken tow dolly, but it would have been nice to have had U-Haul arrange for a replacement dolly at the original location, or, at the very least, have been notified earlier of the change in pick-up location.

First - why did uhaul bring me clear to canton NC for drop off? Second the location could not check me in and delayed which i needed to escalate twice. Not comfortable dropping off a trailer without a check out

This was the worst Haul experience I have ever had. I am trying to understand why you would allow this business to represent your company. The business was an absolute junkyard full of cars, debris, and a Uhaul trailer covered in mold surrounded with junk. I didn't see any other Uhauls at this location. Two guys who were busy socializing told me to leave the keys in the truck, and that was the end of the conversation. The next day, I received a phone call from Rynos saying that I was late turning in the truck. How do you miss the only truck you have? THIS IS AN AWFUL DROPOFF LOCATION.

Friendly staff. This location needs to get a foundation for the vehicles we have to fish the trailers/trucks out of the mud every time. That goes for several locations in Haywood co NC.

I would travel twice as far to rent to avoid using this center again. The location was difficult to locate. Although posted opening was 9am, the operator did not show up until 9:45, then did not help us set up the trailer, or to unhitch the unit upon return. The area was nasty, trashy, and extremely dirty with old tires and auto waste in the yard. I would not have been surprised to open the trailer to find a snake or mice nest. Please review the lease of this dealership.

The original pick up was in Waynesville at yhe Matress Goddess. When I turned up in Waynesville nobody was there and they were not answering phones. You should seriously consider getting rid of thise folks in Waynesville. Rynos came to our rescue and they were fantastic-verh nice people.

I had reserved a time/date pick-up for a trailer on Wednesday, 2/22/23 @1030am. I was running late and called the location (17790 Smoky Mountains /Expy, Waynesville, NC) before my scheduled pick-up time and advised, via recording, that I would be picking up my trailer a few hours late. Approximately 1210 that day I received a phone call from U-Haul asking if I was still coming in. I advised I would be at their location by 1315 hours. I was told by the agent that they would hold the reservation until 1330. While enroute to the location, approximately 1240, I was contacted by the U-Haul location in Waynesville (see above) and told "I'm going home early so you will have to find another place to rent your trailer." I explained to him I had driven up from Florida and needed that trailer to transport items back to Florida and I was told that since I did not pick up at 1030 and since he was going home there was nothing he could do. My message to U-Haul is why have a customer secure a reservation when you as a business can revoke that reservation because your employee decides to leave early? Looking for an answer from U-Haul on this terrible way to treat a customer.

See above. They didn't even know I was coming...this some kind of tow yard, shade tree mechanic, U-Haul combo. Barely enough room to pull straight in.

The truck I rented had cables for the sliding back door that were no longer attached to the door, and we're not properly wound around the interior wheels. When the door couldn't be easily lifted, I called roadside assistance who fixed the problem, but this delay cost us precious loading time. I later learned that had I managed to get the door open and started loading the truck without the cables being repaired, the door could have easily come down on me or my teenage children causing serious injury. While the staff at Ryno's were pleasant, helpful, and easy to work with, getting a truck in such a damaged and dangerous state from them makes me recommend against working with them in the future.

I just gotta say, this UHAUL service at various locations is SUPERB, incredibly helpful. I had to get a truck on short notice over the weekend, and they were able to accommodate me!! The price was right!! I love the people at this location, it was super easy to get the truck, and they walked me through it all. Only issue was someone didn't bring the key for the truck back, so we had to wait a little longer so he could bring it back. It also wasn't fully cleaned out, (some french fries and wrappers in the front, and the back of truck had scraps/nails lying around). It didn't bother me, necessarily, and I was able to take pics before driving off with it to prove that it wasn't me. Hehehe. I highly recommend this service.

The lady was really nice but my reservation had been accidently canceled. They had a truck for use though. The car dolly had a bad tail light which I didn't know until I was on the road. Thank goodness I didn't get pulled over! And the floorboard had a lot of mud but rather than clean it she said she'd write a note for the drop off location to deal with it. Weird.

Called to let them know I was caught in traffic and running 15 minutes late. When I arrived the young man said I would have to wait as he was doing 2 car inspections . 25 minutes later an older gentleman drove in to help me. He was wonderful, helpful and very friendly. I’d rate him a five star and the other person <5>.

The vehicle was not clean inside and smelled like cigarette smoke. The vehicle had a whole in the left rear side and due to a rain storm in the night several of our items were ruined due to water damage.

Had to go here after original after they were not accepting any more uhauls. Second location had to park the truck outside of the fence. Also was unable to open the back to take final pictures, Ramp had been secured and it dislodged and unable to open the back. No one available to assist me.

The return of my rental was horrible on Uhaul’s end, took me all day. After not getting any assistance from corporate, I had to call around to get a vender to accept my return. Ryno’s Garage was the only vender who understood my dilemma and was more than helpful with my return. Uhaul appears to have some internal issues going on but they should be thankful to have a partner like Ryno’s garage to make them look good

Original drop off was Waynesville on Smoky Mountain Parkway. That location refused the trailer, said they had to many. Told me to leave it on the side of the road! Threatened to charge me $100 per day if I left it snd then threatened to call police if I did not take the trailer away immediately. I feared for my safety with that crazy guy. Check google reviews on him. Very bad experience. Uhaul corporate told me to bring it to canton location and then charged me a fee for dropping it off at wrong location. Horrible experience!!!
