We did 18 kilometres (the invoice from U-haul says so). It was a Chevrolet Silverado pick up. We were told at the location that the tank was full, and we needed to return it full. When we returned the truck, I had to put in 15.7 litres of fuel to fill the tank up (I have the invoice). does Chevy Silverado only give 1.14 kms per litre? Is the chevy's mileage that bad? uhaul rental system: your dealers are terrible. i would never recommend any of my friend that are starting their business to rent from uhaul. if you don't buy insurance or if you use your own i guess the dealers have to try and squeeze from else whereNavado H.
this location is shady every time i go there it's like dealing with a group that wants to get the most out of you. because i don't have my own truck i rent. I was extremely disappointed to show up to my pick up location at 7am after being told via the phone that this was an option, only to find out this was not the case. I had to delay my move for 2 hours which led two friends to be unable to help as well as my girlfriend almost be late for work. I was assured that the mobile pick up had been set up when a uhaul agent called me two days prior to confirm the pick up location. I will definitely will be hesitant to use this service in the future.Evan E.

The two men who own /run the 4120 Steeles Ave location are rude and unfriendly. The van was given to me in average shape and not spotless, however upon returning it they were blaming me for its condition. Terrible experience never again.Nico F.
The staff at this pick up were helpful and able to respond to questions and direct us accordingly. Much BIGGER problem was BIG difference in pricing as told to me and checked several times, at booking and actual much higher costs. Initially, I booked another location and the site confirmed that the truck is ready to be picked up using a mobile phone, but when I arrived, it required a person to hand deliver to me. A call to hotline gives me a car at ANOTHER location, and the fact that I went to the initial location on foot, so I had to make arrangements to go to the new location, which was extremely inconvenient and wasted me a lot of time, which I have had initially timeboxed it.Chanh Phap P.

The reason I went to 4120 Steeles was because my original rental at 7007 Islington Ave was terrible. I got to the truck and when I opened the tailgate the key, the dolly and the moving blankets were not there. Someone obviously forgot to do their job to make my pick up go smoothly. I was on the phone for an hour before I got a rep that could actual help me and not just keep send me the code for the lock. If I could I would submit a complaint about my experience with 7007 Islington for their incompetence.Ron B.

When doing the walk around in the vehicle, the employee would not let me ask questions and was being rude. His tone was â€œyou better bring back with at least half tank of gasâ€, instead of simply explaining what was going on. Overall, not a good customer service. The back of the truck was very dirty, we had to sweep it prior to putting my furniture. Basically, any questions I asked they replied â€œI only do what my computer tells me to do.â€Cesar D.

This was a terrible experience with Uhaul. I had a guaranteed reservation for 6 am at this location for a 20' truck. When I arrived there was no truck there and online pick up told me I had to wait until 7:30 to pick up my truck. Spoke with multiple customer service representatives who all had no answers and it turned out there would be no truck at all. I ended up having to drive another 45 minutes to pick up a smaller truck at 9:00 am which did not have the equipment I had ordered with the previous truck. This cost me time and money which I have not been compensated for. I still have not heard back from management regarding my complaint.Brendan M.

I ended up having to wait two hours to have a fuse replaced during my limited 1 day rental. The left turn signal did not work. The equipment should have been verified before my trip. Because the move-in times were set and unchangeable, this delay in the morning meant frustration and limited out ability to move smoothly.Joanne T.
