Stephen B.The after charge seemed pretty high. Upfront I paid for 20 miles, rental and $14 insurance. I drove 17 miles and did not get gas. After returing the truck I expected to be charged gas minus the 3 miles we didn't use. Instead they tried to charge $44.00. Pretty confused.

mason M.2nd time renting a cargo van here. The service the staff gives is great. Vehicles always seem fine mechanically. Both times however there have been empty drink bottles in the vehicles and it seems like i am the only person that sweeps or vacuums the floor and seats of the vehicles. Other than that this place is great

Julianne P.Stop using the word “reserve†if you won't hold a truck for me. I was forced to change locations due to availability before the date I needed it. No problem. I then couldn't pick up at the new location because the truck wasn't there. How was it able to fall through the cracks? You should know where your equipment is and give updates before you screw over customers. I waited 70 minutes on hold while my fiancé was able to beat me in queue due to the fact she chose call back. How is that possible? Your first associate could not speak over the tone of a whisper and found my need for help a bother. The first associate connected me to another which had the audacity to throw it in my face that I chose to prepay when I complained that the reservation was not honored. U-Haul is lucky that the rain was slow to arrive and the staff at the Route 17 IGA gave such great service. U-Haul needs to get its customer service on track because this was hell.

Barry C.The lady who was there when I picked up the trailer was very rude and unhelpful. Had the trailer blocked in and told me she couldn't leave the register, that I would have to figure it out. Had to lift the tongue and pull the trailer out by hand over a curb. Then she tried quoting a different price and argued that I had to take the insurance on it. Won't be using this facility ever again.

Dave E.Generally a pleasant experience. The vehicle was clean and in good working order. The manager was friendly, the check-in was smooth and uncomplicated. The one negative was this: I was told that the gas tank was full, and it was so indicated on the contract. I drove the van 26 easy miles with a very light load. When I returned the van and filled it up, it took 6+gallons of gas. That would make a bit more than 4 mpg. It didn't take a quarter of a tank to drive 26 miles. By my calculation, this added about 25% to the real cost of renting the van beyond the gas that I used. My humble offering would be to send the vehicles out with a genuinely full tank and expect it to be filled at the pump on site when returned. Then there is no question about how much gas is required. Just a suggestion.
