steve zukThis was our first time renting at Roe Brothers as we usually rent at Wadeson's. We chose Roe for the available pickup truck rental. Pros - The woman who helped us at the U-Haul desk was friendly and helpful. Cons - The pickup was covered in snow from a large snow storm 2 days prior to our rental. The rental desk is across two parking lots and a road from the rental - so going back and forth for assistance made me late for my next appointments. Even after asking for help, the hood of the truck was left fully covered - which made highway driving dangerous. I was truly surprised by the lack of consideration.

Neil SkowThe damage was not marked with yellow stickers the check engine light was on the truck was not clean inside. The link to uhaul did not work on 3 different phones the site could not help because they could not access it either it took almost 45 minutes to speak to people to not the damage and l light. Still could not access the site upon return Saturday evening. Overall I was very disappointed this time.

ann demarcotransmission of truck was inferior. When dealing with a person at location service was fine. When dealing with U-Haul site service was bad, I was sent to wrong location for pick up, I could not rent from location I wanted. Overall, I would not likely rent from U-Haul again as trying to rent from specific location was difficult if not possible.

Crystal Run Vill Ed WintersTruck was covered in dents, scratches, and a questionable windshield. Held in place with tape? Raised Concerns in a few fronts. 1 being blamed for something I had nothing to do with. And 2. Was the windshield going to fall out? The brakes were metal on metal. Which not only was a life or death concern on the highway but also quiet the auditory torture. Please change the brake pads!

Marie KosenI had a reservation in Middletown NY For 9:30 am for a 26' truck. Once there I was told no trucks were available in the area and I would have to go to NJ to get a 26' truck, I could go to Florida NY for a 20' truck. No discount offered. I had to make 1 trip with the truck and 2 additional trips of 60 miles each way because of the smaller truck. Not only was I not given a discount for the extra 30 mile drive to pick up the smaller truck but was not even credited the extra 30 mile I had to put on the truck to get to the Uhaul location. Plus 2 trips with my personal car totaling 240 miles of gas and 4 hours of time. None of which would have be made had my original reservation been possible. If they put you out you should be compensated. That's good business. I use to use them every 2-3 months now I will look elsewhere. I feel under appreciated and disrespected. $304.60 in rental fees, $70. in gas for the Uhaul truck, Just to move my stuff 60 miles. A moving company would have charged me $500 and they would do all the hard work. Why would I rent form them again.

ERIC DARNSTEADTThere were a lot of stains on the interior of the cab and it smelled like smoke. It was evident that the cab was vacuumed/wiped down, but the seat needs to be cleaned better. The representative that checked me in was knowledgeable and friendly, as was the phone rep when I called about having trouble with the app during the return.

Josefina ZuluagaI know I put yes for the equipment was clean, but the cab area was not. Napkins and garbage all over floor. The back was very clean. Otherwise the equipment was very well maintained.

Roe Brothers was a great, convenient location with super friendly staff. Would highly recommend them and U-Haul again.
