The website recommended this trailer as only option for hauling a utv. That said the rear opening was too narrow to allow it to load despite trailer width being more than enough. This was misleading and caused me to pay for a rental that I couldn't use. I'm not happy about spending more than $100 dollars fir mo benefit.

I rented a motorcycle trailer and upon bringing it home somebody else had rented it and left nails and other debris in it so I had to clean it out before I could use it otherwise I would have had flat tires the service guy when I picked it up was outstanding couldn't ask for better but I was a bit disappointed because right inside the trailer it says there's a $15 charge if you bring it back dirty well whatever dirt was in it was not for me sheetrock and nails and stuff like that

I had set up the rental with a representative who had called me back by phone. It was in a closer location and in the direction I was going. It then got changed to this location which is an hour away from me in the opposite direction from my trip. So the pick up and return cost me 4 extra hours of driving, which with the rest of the trip was not appreciated. Otherwise it went well

Attendant assumed that I was lying when I explained to him that the fuel gauge was defective: erratic. He refused to look at my receipt from the gas station which is literally next door and showed that I had just put in 3 gallons of gas. He said that the vehicle is brand new - which it was - and that therefore the gauge was accurate - which it was not. I will mention parenthetically that the mileage charge at $.99 seems excessive. It was $.69 (or $.79?) just last year.

U-haul changed my order and then did not get me a trailer, it did not show back up in Glen Rock. The van rental was twice as much, took an extra 3 hours to pick up and cost an additional $100 for gas and tolls.

Comments are not about this particular location but the entire U-Haul reservation process. We had reserved a 26' one-way months in advance. Day before our pick-up we are told no long-distance fleet trucks available and we had to take 10' truck. Completely unacceptable and U-Haul's antiquated system for not giving customers advance notice is dead. Sorry to say I will never rent from U-Haul again, and will do everything in my power to ruin thus company through social media. Complete waste of my family's time.

Truck had 150k miles on it and hard signs of wear. Passenger side door didn't close properly and swing open twice while driving. Personnel were friendly and helpful, but not fully able to rectify what was Uhaul managements fault (relocating my pick up location four times, all within a day of my departure). I spent at least 5 hours cumulatively wasted with customer service and ended up with the most inconvenient pickup location possible. Shame - not on rock hill, but Uhaul management as a whole.

I have no problem with the pick up location and they were great. The problem I have is that less than 24 hrs before my rental pick up the regional office called me and told me I could no longer pick up my truck where I had scheduled it and instead I had to travel 45 minutes out of my way to Rock Hill to get the truck. Furthermore I could no longer pick it up at 730 but could at 8. To me this short of notice is unacceptable as it messed up several plans I had on the day of rental. Furthermore I was charged for extra mileage as a result of Uhaul making this last minute change. I will not be using Uhaul again in the future.

Instead of them giving me a truck that was cleaned of snow and ice on windshield they gave me one that needed to be defristed before I could go anywhere. The ABS LIGHT WAS IB, traction cimintrol lights, and the stabilizer lights. I was told they don't clean the trucks or start them. I find that very hard to believe they don't start them to see if in need of repair. I was told he could swap them out after all the paper work was done and trick was warming up. Didn't even shovel around the truck for easy access.

I am still confused and puzzled by the extraordinary charges that I was never told would happen until it was time to sign the contract. I still don't know what I paid for, or what the credit was. Nevertheless, $19.95 plastered on the side of the van was as meaningless as a screen door in a submarine. Beyond that, I notified the desk person on return that a headlight switch was hanging loose from its slot in the dashboard. Yes, he knew about that, and it has been that way since it was 40 miles into service. But it has never been fixed. I asked if the truck had been sanitized. He assured me that it had been sprayed with lemon-scented Lysol. I had my own Lysol, and sprayed it around liberally, and wiped the steering wheel with an alcohol solution. To be balanced: The U-Haul rep was very friendly, courteous and efficient. And on my return, was quite reassuring that they were well aware of the lights switch problem, although he did not tell me about it before I drove away. I would recommend this location because it seems professionally maintained, knowledgeable, and generally welcoming of my business. I am not at all confident that the van or cargo space had been sanitized at all. There was certainly no scent of lemon Lysol inside the vehicle, nor of any other cleaning agent. So I'd recommend it, with the understanding that in this day of the COVID-19 virus, take along your own Lysol and hand sanitizer to use before you get in and start touching things.

Pick up via the mobile phone app is impossible when this pick up site is closed as this site has no internet connection due to a dead zone. What an unforgivable mess. U-Haul customer service is unable to help and DID NOT KNOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE ME A WIFI PASSWORD. Signs should b posted everywhere at this pickup site that say to call customer service for assistance And Internet access This should be standard procedure. Lost the day and this was only part of the way this lazy, inefficient company screwed me up. Showed up at the original pick up site and my van was not there. They tried to gaslight me and tell me I had reserved a 10ft truck. I called bullshit and the online manager backed off. So then they tell me there are 2 vans 25 Mins away. I agree to travel to the above mentioned pick up site even though I gotta drive an extra 60 miles now to go back and forth 2mx to load the van And then drop off the next day. If there are two vans only 25 mins away, why didn't this company send one over to my pick up point and have it waiting for me? Or, why not call me the night before and be honest and tell me we don't have your van. Please go to the alternate pick Up spot instead. And this is a major American company?

Please check the inside of trucks better. The inside of this truck box held a large grease/oil spot. I had no detergents with me to clean this mess and had to lay tarps over it to protect my items.

My reservation was for a shop about 10 minutes from my house. Two days before getting it, I was notified that I would have to go to Rock Hill NY to pick it up. Needless to say I wasn't happy since I had to now drive over an hour to get it and over an hour to bring it home.

Upon arrival, the auto transport trailer was never safety checked before. I arrived to the location to find out that the included straps already on the trailer were broken. I had to wait an additional hour while an employee drove around on a golf cart around the property, seemingly barely looking for a replacement. Finally, they found one, which was completely dry rotted. I was quite nervous the entire trip with my vehicle, where I ended up having to take an alternate route than originally planned because I did not feel the equipment was safe for highway travel.

The location for pickup changes most of the time from the original available and assigned location. Usually it adds 30 or more extra miles from location initially assigned. I have had that experience 3 times already in the past 120 days.
