We booked our reservation 2 months prior to pickup. We set it for Sidney, MT pickup at the Saddle Shop location. We had jobs lined up in Michigan where we were moving to, with specific start dates. The day prior to order reserved pick up, we were told there were no trucks. The soonest we could get them was 2 days after original date, on our scheduled move date. This threw our entire trip off by 4 whole days. Loosing out the employment opportunities we had. It was very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. We also then had to drive an hour away to pick them up at the Glendive location instead. I am not sure if this error was on the part of UHaul or the local location. Was not a great experience at all having it fall this way.William H.

Really nice truck - new - only 4K miles! Tried to get the truck in Bowman, ND, but had to drive a couple hours to pick it up in Montana. It was a pretty drive, and I'm just glad we got the truck. We packed it full, and I mean FULL, and it still drove good & pulled a trailer with a Polaris Ranger. Got Dad's estate moved from ND to MI. Very happy !!! I think we used around $400 in gas from ND to MI.Chris S.

Not over charge for rental. It is less then $100.00 to rent a 5x8 open trailer from Great Falls Mt. to Glendive Mt. . But, $350.00 to rent the same exact trailer to go from Glendive Mt. to Great Falls Mt.. WHY! WHY! Why! I WILL NEVER, EVER RENT FROM U- HAUL AGAIN!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Your new slogan should be; We're U-HAUL, we DON'T CARE, Because we DON'T HAVE TO!!!Larry B.

Trailer lights never ended up working, had to be a short in trailer had mechanic go through wiring my vehicle was working it was the trailer. Had brake lights and turn signals but ended up causing me to spend more time and money to get to my destination due to not being able to drive after dusk. Closed for an hour at lunch but there's multiple people there, nor was I even supposed to go to that location initially so I ended up having to drive over a hundred miles extra by the miscommunication of the company..Valerie D.

My rental truck was clean. It does appear to be on great need of an alignment. Ie: When the wheels were straight on the vehicle the steering wheel was turned toward the left. Overall the experience was good.shelly S.

They say theres always room for improvement, The only thing I would express is there should be more customer service like I received, I didnt have to do anything but sign all the employees were very nice and did all the work .even when I dropped off I was greeted with kind and courteous profession, and after the 1700 mile trip that was so welcomed . We reserved a 26' truck but there were none within 150 miles or so. We got a 15' truck & a 6x12 trailer. They accommodated us as well as they could have. They gave us extra days & extra mileage. All very much appreciated!! Thank you Lacey, Amber & Jessica.CHRISTY B.

I only gave this 3 stars because of the lady who checked me in, she was DELIGHTFUL and easy to work with. The gentleman who helped me load my car only had negative things to say about "us kids and our d*mn oversized tires. Can't read the rules online." When in fact, I DID AS WELL AS BROUGHT MY OWN TIE DOWNS BECAUSE YOUR WEBSITE SAID TO!! How about you try talking TO your customers like a GOOD business owner, instead of under your breath, hoping I don't hear?Keely W.

While hooking up the trailer to my truck, the trailer jack got wedged under the trailer and put a hole in the trailer. (It was frozen to the ground and the owner could not get it to come loose) They sent it out anyways and said it's a good thing I got the insurance. They should have changed the trailer. When I got to my destination in Pennsylvania I had snow all over the inside of the trailer and my belongings. Some of the boxes got ruined, my luggage was we as were the clothes inside. Not really happy about this as it's going to cost me time and money to rewash and rebox everything.DON G.

Big thank you to Paul who helped us with the trailer hook up. We will recommend you & your facility! Bald tires on the truck made for a very tense & difficult drive in a Montana winter!! We've used Uhaul for many of our moves, but the last few have been stressful. This time the truck was not available, so we had to drive to another location to pick up. In this case, it was 80 miles away, causing us lost time in packing over a holiday weekend. This was an after hours pick up site, so nobody there. We were told that the key would be in Lockbox #1. Upon opening it, no key. Fortunately, the owner showed up and used a code to open other boxes to find the key. The truck seemed alright, loud and low mpg, and the wiper blades were useless with rain and road spray, eventually coming off on the driver's side. Overall, a VERY frustrating experience with Uhaul for this rental.Kevin R.

I was quoted $35.00 for a 5x9 open trailer with ramp. When I checked my bank account later that evening, I was charged $102.70. There is no way insurance cost that much! Not a happy camper. I'm not in the town I rented and retuned it to, so getting with the agent isn't possible at this time.D'ANN D.

I will not recommend UHaul yo anyone! I made a reservation for a 26 foot truck three weeks in advance through Wolf Point, Mt. The day before picking up the truck uhaul informs me there is no truck available and that I need to drive 100 miles to pick up a 20 ft. Truck! Horrible service!Alanne R.
