My reservation was for a 20' in Columbia. I was notified 36 hours before that biggest truck in all of the greater DC area was 17' at this location...45 minutes in the wrong direction. When I called the location said they had no truck for me. After messing with customer service they said a truck was being dropped off to that location resulting in a 90 minute delay in my move start time. Atop that it wasn't a U-haul logo-ed truck; the check engine light was on, and the vehicle struggle to hit 50mph on an incline...empty. It was also missing about 1/4 tank of gas.CAVIN M.

There was no agent on site. We chose to check out on site as opposed to online when we booked. There should be no option to do this at this location. Took over 2 hours to get Uhaul to amend our reservation so we could check in and get the keys.Mark H.

Please see the notes on my order. Location was changed on us last minute. We were told the truck was ready but when we came to get it no one was there, there was no key in the lockbox and the truck had a flat. Had to take a smaller truck and therefore couldn't fit everything in one trip. Returned truck a day early. WE WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. We tell everyone who asks about our moving experience that they should not use uhaul if they want a smooth experience.James C.

I thought the person at this location was being helpful, but I was wrong. The return truck feature wasn't working when we dropped off the truck and we were charged for two extra days - an extra $150 - even though we dropped it off the same day we rented it. We were promised by both the location and U Haul customer service this wouldn't happen, but it sure did. Now we need to work through customer service to get this resolved. Building appeared abandoned, boarded up. No uhaul drop box and the area was sketchy with no light. Uhaul customer service was terrible. 30 minute hold just to get a woman with an attitude on the other end. I left the keys on the back bumper and left. I will never use this form of uhaul again.jacob W.

Guy was rude and a liar. We showed up for an 8:30am pick up and no one was there. We called regional service and they couldn't get a hold of the guy. I called at 9 am his business phone which he answered and said he would be there in 10 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later. Guy stated that he left there at 8:40am because no one showed up to pick up the unit. He also stated that he called me twice to confirm order, which he did not. When I showed him my call log on my phone he stated that he has 2 Todd's in his system. I tried calling to confirm with the number that was sent, no one answers the line. I called 3 times, including that morning and stayed on "hold" for 15 minutes each time. When he opened the back of the unit, he said he swept the it out himself. It was full of pine needles when I picked it up. After 1 hour we finally left with the unit. This is definitely not a site I would recommend to anyone under any circumstances unless you like being lied to, You can be sure that if I need another U-Haul in the future that I will NOT pick it up at a remote site! Equipment is great, but this site was horrible.Todd L.
The location was changed the night before we picked the trailer up . It would have been nice if Uhaul dropped it off so we didn't have to drive further but they did come through having an available trailer which was very well maintained !!Stephen W.
The owner was not on sight and had no information about my reservation of the truck when I called. This could have been a big problem for me. The sight should be set up for self checkout. U-Haul changed my reservation location by a half hour drive and with a facility that didn't support self checkout. Very frustrating and again nearly a big issue of the site owner didn't have a cell phone # posted and answered it.David W.
