Shalimar Storage By The Sea...only to find out on the morning of the move that they didn't have the truck... so I had to drive to Rizzy's instead... after calling the scheduled movers saying I would be late... once at Rizzys all went well...Lawrence W.

Have have better customer services. Pick the U-Haul up The next day the tire started going down put air in it next day still going down stop by local big dealership in Panama City Florida was told there was nothing they could do had to call roadside but more air in it . Next I get up headed to Lowe's tire start losing air again we're going flat fast. Got to Lowe's condo side was going to be 90 minutes before maybe get to it. It's been about $30 in airBARRY W.

Between issues with the ignition, the truck clearly not being looked at after the previous user, and the â€œnewâ€ battery dying leading to a 2 hour delay to our move while waiting for roadside assistance, this was one of the worst Uhaul experiences I've had. When I explained the issues to the individual working when I returned the equipment, they showed no remorse for the fact that there were many problems and slow-downs that we had with the truck, all of which had to do with a lack of care on their end. I'd recommend renting a Uhaul from literally any other location in town.Kathryn S.

It was at a Shell gas station and the Greyhound bus came in so we needed to wait to be checked out. The attendant was very efficient, so it was fine. It was open on Sunday and we needed to return on Sunday, so that was a huge plus.Dorothy H.
Truck ran very poorly. Check oil light was on when I picked it up and it idled roughly making it extremely difficult to back up and stop without it lurching. Ordered a hand dolly and truck came without one. Attendant said they did not have one available and would take it off the order. Was charged for 13 gallons of gasoline and only drove the truck for less than 30 miles total. Will never use U-Haul again. Horrible experience.Bernard O.
I was charged .89 cent a mile at 114 miles at return. But I paid for the first 50 miles when I got the truck, so I should've only had to pay 64 miles at checkout and the clerk refused/didn't know how to make any corrections so I was overcharged about $40Andrew F.

I explained to clerk that( new) truck had a serious leak inside cab and in overhang ( attic) I don't think she even put in report. Showed her pictures of damaged goods( wet boxes etc) she told me I'd have to report to Goodwill, but I was trying to prevent it being rented again before fixingMICHAEL M.

Had to swap trailers. First had a frayed end on the tires strap. To be fair, would not have been a problem with a passenger car but I was losing a jeep with 33 tires. Location swapped me out no problem though.CAINE M.

When I picked up the truck only one employee dealing with truck rentals, grocery purchases, bus passengers She had too many tasks too handle When I turned my truck in it was due back at 9:00. I arrived on time to again only one employee This employee didn't know how to use the uhaul system so I got a signed receipt from her with the date and time. Girl had a serious attitude problem... Acted like she was doing me a favor when I turned in the trailer. Cuban food truck onsite, music blasting, sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. Not a lot of help here, just glad I got the trailer dropped off and got on my way without getting mugged...Santus G.

I was very aggravated when we got over 1000miles to find that all 3 beds and all our clothes S that where in suit cases where TOTALLY soaking wet for the trailer leaking. We had to throw away alot of clothes due to the trailer being dirty on the inside after the rain hit it. I was under the understanding that these trailers where water tight. And whe I dropped it off in Panama I told the lady about it and she said IT DONT SUPRISE ME.Rick F.
This is the second time I rented. Both times I reserved months in advance to insure the rental would be at my preferred pick up location, Holland MI and Panama City Beach FL. They had only one person covering all responsibilities as gas station attendant, U-haul rep, Greyhound rep, western union repâ€¦ she was stretched too thin to be good at anything. She was a very kind person and worked hard, but she took over half an hour to complete my check-in. Every time I've gone into this location they've had one person working trying to handle the gas the lottery food the rentals also Western Union and the Greyhound bus comes in there the last time I rented a vehicle it was filthy it was below a quarter tank of gas it was my understanding that if it's below a quarter tank they're supposed to fill it it had 40 miles I could go on it that's a load the gas was the people were very rude not very helpful and I've been renting from U-Haul for probably 50 yearsCharles L.
The vehicle fuel gauge was on empty when I checked the vehicle prior to pickup. I told the lady at the site and she said take a photograph of the fuel gauge (showing empty) which I did. She said I would be reimbursed for the fuel when the transaction was completed, and I would need to return the vehicle at at !/4 full which was shown on my equipment contract. Then she told me to refuel the vehicle for my use. I added added 6.001 gallons at a cost of $19.88. The gauge showed 3/8 of a tank. I then used the vehicle for moving items from storage to my new home. I drove 29 miles during my rental period and returned the vehicle at approximately 12:30 pm. A different lady at the site took my vehicle in after my use. I explained about the fuel situation and she said it would be covered by the Uhaul company. When we completed the paperwork she stated she did not understand the situation and did not reimburse me for the missing fuel. I was disappointed that Uhaul did not honor their commitment. This is the second time I have had issues with Uhaul about fuel. Recently I rented a vehicle that was 7/8 full when I picked it up, but had to return it completely full when the gauge did not respond while filling the vehicle at the station. I was not reimbursed as requested at that time either. I am beginning to understand the fuel scam much better at this point. In the past vehicles were picked up and returned at full. That was a much fairer and honest system. I will never use Uhaul again, and will never mention the company in a positive light unless this situation is rectified. I need to be reimbursed $19.88 for the fuel I put it the vehicle. Please have someone in authority contact me at email@example.com about resolving this matter. Thank you, Donald J. O'DonnellDon O.

The van was easy to drive with great side view mirrors. The cargo area needed to be swept out. I was only picking up a sofa and had all the cushions boxed so I could work with the floor. The pick up location was convenient for me but I would prefer to check my equipment out from an agent. For the small van this sight worked but if I were renting a trailer or large van I'd prefer an agent to go over the equipment with me.Renee C.
