I can't rate something that I haven't experienced. A couple of 5 minute phone calls,videos to watch and instructions on my phone to follow, worked just fine, but now its more work for the customer, and a savings for the supplier. I didn't save any money with all the extra effort I had to put in. I'm sure Rhodes is a fine organization. Nothing bad to say. U-haul has taken the human interaction out, has saved money because no one has to man the station, but what's the benefit to me. It took me longer than on my previous rental, and may make me consider an alternative for my next rental.

This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. It took close to 45 minutes to process the paperwork - and wile I stood there, your agent made a phone call to U Haul to work on a problem with another reservation that he somehow managed to cancel while trying to get my paperwork. He kept telling me it was supposed to be his day off, like that should explain the delay - and I had to remind him of my name at least 5 times even though my drivers license was right in front of him.. The truck was clean but the engine revved so much and was over 4 on the tachometer, which resulted in lurching and engine distress sounds. I don't expect a luxury ride using one of your trucks by any means but this was horrible and did not feel safe driving and there were no other trucks available in the area. I have another rental next week to help my son move in CA and I am hoping this goes far better - but this recent experience was so bad as to be unbelievable. I should have looked at the Yelp reviews prior to picking this location which would have told me a great deal.

Tracy came in to save the day for us. We spent the whole day trying to find a Uhaul that was available but all of the trucks in our area were already rented out. Tracy actually reached out to my wife since they know each other and informed of us truck that was coming back later in the day. We were able to rent the truck and move everything we needed in the constrained time limit we had. Couldn't have been happier with the service.

Truck was dirty and not cleaned. The pads bag was empty and no seal on that or the dolly. Had to spend an hour on the phone with customer service to make sure I wasn't charged for those items. Horrible experience.

I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation which was made online. It took the attendant more than 45 minutes to get it to go through while I had 4 men at a cost of $100 per hour waiting at my house. Once again, no contract was presented to me. I just looking at the contract that was emailed to me and once again, the Safe Move was added even though I did not have it on my original reservation and told the gentleman serving me that I did not want it. There is no document that I signed authorizing this. I want it credited back to my account. Since this is the second time it happened, it will be the last time. If you look back at my record, I rent frequently. Next time, or if the money is not credited back to me, I will be contacting Wisconsin Consumer Protection agency and request punitive damages since I am sure I am not the only one who this has been done to.

Process was awful. Went to three locations to get truck. Either closed no truck that size. Place I was to get truck was closed early. They did not return call. Reserved another for next am with 800 uhaul. Place was not open on time rude attendant. Wrong size truck there not the 20 foot needed. On return the location closed and this was 4pm. No help called them he didn't help. Found another locatio. To return. There was a guy so damn rude. But then a very nice kid checked in truck. I should be refunded some of this bill for unreasonable problems uhaul has

Never got a call, so went to Waukegan. We're told our things were at Rhodes, so we drove back to Kenosha. Our truck was there, but we had to drive to another location in Kenosha for The dollies, mattress cover and box we ordered. They had no clue and gave us the dollies and luckily had a mattress cover and box they could give us. The run around was ridiculous. Everything should have been in the truck ready to go.

They struggled to get the computer to do all the paperwork, stood at the counter 50+ minutes. Then they did not have a hitch receiver which was prepaid so I had to run out and purchase one. Then they did not have an adaptor for my lights, so again I had to run out a purchase one. Frustrating.

I was given the wrong information about paying for the uhaul trailer from the woman I spike to on the phone at uhaul. Therefore, me being a 24 year old female, traveled across the country with $250 because instead of having to pay for the trailer when I dropped it off at my destination LIKE I WAS TOLD WOULD HAPPEN, uhaul took $650 out of my account, of which I was supposed to use for a hotel and food and gas. I had to borrow money from others just to get to AZ from IL because money was taken out of my account, 7 days prior to what it should have been. In my eyes, that is a GIANT mistake, and it caused me a ton of problems, stress, and issues along my 30 hour trip. I hope someone will sort this out the way that it should be. I would never have made the trip if i would have known that was going to happen. I would have made other arrangements. Instead, I suffered because someones lack of knowledge and correct information. Something that could have been easily avoided. I would never want anyones child to go through what I had to because of someone elses mistake.

It took us over 1 hour for paperwork to get completed due to the on line web page at the location. They had to restart the computer 2 times. Ended it doing it manual. It as much time to get the truck as I had the truck. They did not offer anything to compensate for my time

I made an online reservation for a 5x8' trailer for 9am pickup. They were not ready for me and had me in the system as a 2:30 reservation. When I arrived, there wasn't a 5x8 trailer and there wasn't going to be one at all. I ended up with a 6x12' trailer, which I wasn't happy with.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. I booked the 2 uhaul trucks and an auto transport for one price then they changed the price and location of drop off with no notification. I was told 5 different places to drop my equipment off when I was done. Now they are billing me over $700 because I dropped it off at the wrong location. The people that work in their locations and their customer service line are so rude. Don't waste your time or money. Use Budget or Penske for your moving needs.
