Extremely helpful when turning in the rental vehicle, a 20ft moving van. The process was quick and easy and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. I would absolutely recommend this location to friends and family.

DAVID CI rented this 20ft truck in Montrose for a one way move from Ridgway, CO to Hotchkiss, CO. Be prepared to be shortchanged on your allotted miles. Nobody offered to pay me for the extra miles it took me to drive from the actual location of the truck to the office where the paperwork had to be done.

Angele TThe mud lot was not manned and there is no signage to help customers know they have to travel 2 miles away to actually talk to someone. Equipment is parked in the weeds and when I dropped off the trailer I almost got stuck in the mud. Because it was not manned I ended up waiting about 40 minutes for someone to show up and it seemed they only did because I called customer service.

Linda KWe had to go to one location to fill out paperwork and pay, and then drive to another location to get the full auto trailer., which was very small and hard to get in and out of. The gentleman, although nice, didn't hook the rack up properly which caused me to be an hour late getting back to my town and loading. Very inconvenient all around.
Erica HSelf checkin. It was a very narrow entrance the was rocky and steep incline. Man there was rude, did not identify himself as U-Haul. Told us we could not park at the entrance, we were not parking we were going to back up to return trailer

charles mSomeone should meet you at the lot and hook the trailer up. I'm 76 yrs old and the guy said I was supposed to do it myself. He said if I went back to the office Someone would hook it up for me but it would cost $20 cash!!I went back and the same guy hooked my car onto the trailer and I had to pay him!

Dave LLocation was very good for us but the drop off storage area is a small field that is very uneven and rocky. It appears to be n the process of being leveled.
David KMontrose U-Haul employee gave me incorrect directions to pick up yard.Make sure that the U-haul employee returns your drivers license after signing rental agreement. Montrose U-Haul employee forgot to give my license back to me but did call and drive to my location. 45 minutes waiting. Montrose U-Haul lot was very rocky and difficult to drive through and get in and out of.
Michael JMet the guy in a field and it took over 30 minutes before I could drive away. They guy said that Uhaul has great trucks but there software sucks. Plus, when I got into the truck after the long delay, it only had 1/4 of gas. This was frustrating to need to go fill it up before I moved.

David was very understanding and even offered to come by after hours to complete our contract after i had gotten everything out. His patience was very much appreciated! 10/10 I would recommend renting from this location.
Quinn NThere was a lot of confusion over my final contract as we added a dolly when we arrived to pick up the truck. The office lady put it on con and charged me for so this took 30 minutes to just do this. Then we spent another 30 minutes out at the lot while the boss tried to charge us again for a dolly and then said we got a free dolly use yet we had already paid back at the office!!! It should not take an hour to rent a reservation vehicle of any kind!

Cliff FDAVID WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MEET OUR NEEDS LOCALLY WHEN THE 1-800 UHAUL PEOPLE WERE GIVING US PICK UP LOCATIONS 300MILES IN THE WRONG DIRECTION !!! NOT HELPFUL. UHAUL NEEDS TO DIRECT CALLS TO LOCAL DEALERS, NOT GIVE BAD AND INACCURATE INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS!

David CAll representatives were pleasant. (thanks!) The truck was fairly new, but the cab was dirty. The main challenge was online scheduling. A 10 ft. U-haul for a local move was reserved to be picked up in Montrose, but the confirmation said we had to get the U-haul in Grand Junction, a 120-mile-round-trip ($ .79 per mile charge = $94.80 for mileage just to get the truck.) After reserving with another company, then finding a Montrose U-haul truck, other pick-up locations were messed up.

David DMake sure everything works on anything you are trying to rent to someone. Our light was out and we had to buy the hook ups for the truck that was pulling it. With the amount of money we spent that we shouldn't of had to worry if the cops were going to pull us over and give us a ticket.

Andre CWe were charged a $25 cleaning fee. The inside of the truck was completely cleaned out. The outside had some frozen snow and road dirt from crossing the country. Historically, we have not been charge for road dirt, is this something new?
Diane DHaving to run across HW 550 isn't ideal, but I get that parking near private property can be hard. The gentleman that did the check-in was very helpful, though.
Craig SIt was a dirt field. No office with a sign and a drop box. No space to turn around 27 ft truck and trailer. Had a phone number to call when dropping off. I called multiple times with no answer. The truck and trailer sat for 2 days with no one watching. Trailer had no lock. What if someone stole? Would I be liable. Since no one answered the phone I called UHaul help line, was transferred multiple time to "supervisors" until one got snotty with me and hung up on me. Last time I ever use U-Haul.
