On Saturday 4/13, location was about to close, I called and asked if I could still drop it off given I was almost 10 minutes away, the employee said he would wait for me to get there. I showed up and he had closed the entire location and left. I was stuck on the phone with customer service for almost an hour in the parking lot trying to return the trailer myself due to the UHaul employee lying saying he would be at location, and then abandoned the store

James MMake sure the equipment has proper/ legal license plates. Making an on-line reservation was a nightmare. U-Haul was SUPPOSED to transfer a piece of equipment to the local U-Haul dealer (Company store on Normandy Blvd in Jax, FL). Instead we had to drive to this one.

ALEXANDER LUpon returning the truck I was charged a change in location fee, when I was told by the representative that he couldn’t change the location on his end so I would just have to call any uhaul location to return the truck.

PAUL RI reserved a trailer 14 days early on the day I went to pick it up they said their wasn’t any to be had. I called around and one place even yelled at me Wow! I scrambled around found one had no choice The trailer had only one light working Then when I thought the drop off was the easiest part 8 days later I get a email stating that I never dropped it off. They made a phone call to confirm I did and then didn’t even apologize Sad to see a organization go down hill
ken cThe Manager Was rude and accusatory of customer , insinuating that customer received equipment and not that he had placed the dollies in another truck and upon this discovery failed to apologize and refuse to assist until spoken with. The manager also stayed that he was not to assist and stated he was not trained in usage of the equipment. This location should not be allowed to represent U-haul.

RAUL VMake sure the equipment someone pays for is there! I paid $10 for an appliance dolly to move my appliances and they gave me the $7 utility dolly. There was no uhaul representation on site for when my pick up was scheduled to get the correct one from. Dropped the fridge coming up the steps. It took 45 minutes of verification before even getting the keys to the truck. The uhaul reps were friendly on the phone. Truck sounded like the power steering was going to explode. Got the job done but I was very disappointed in the entire process. Good price value compared to a moving company.

JEFF BRyan who works at this location 6111 beach Blvd Jacksonville fl was rude, obnoxious, sarcastically mean, he was giving dirty, rolling his eyes at me, I felt like I was wasting his time, and I was annoying him. It was terrible customer service by Ryan. I will never be back to rent from U-Haul again because of his attitude.

jodi pThe person who assisted me was awesome and took excellent care of me. I will definitely return to this location in the future. There was one issue with the trailer that was beyond the local management’s control, I moved a few chairs and couches and although it wasn’t noticeable to the naked eye; there was a film of something that appeared to be graphite on the floor of the trailer. We only realized it was there when the chairs we moved left black spots on the carpet after being in the trailer. Not asking for a resolution, just thought I’d mention it.

Roman PNeed to be more clearer on website about reservations and extensions. Such as only being able to reserve a pickup truck for 3 days at a time. And how racist your employees are. Just cause my boyfriend is black didn’t mean they could go accusing us of trying to steal the truck when we just wanted to extend the rental. That’s not very professional at all. I will NEVER refer people to go to that location.
