The auto transport we used was very unsafe. The passenger wheel strap would come completely loose causing the vehicle being towed to shift and also required us to stop every other hour to check the strap and retighten it. Very unsatisfied.
Joshua JThe service was good. The vehicle was ready and clean. However, the location of the vehicle was changed on the day of pickup to a place 5 miles away farther than the original (adding a total of 10 miles round trip). I forgot to refill the tank. The vehicle was returned with the fuel needle just above the full line (between full and 1/4 tank), not just above the 1/2 line, as the Transaction Receipt showed.
RAUL STrailer was pointed to and released. No instruction, no jack, we had to squat-lift the tongue up onto the hitch from sitting on the ground.

Soon after I realized that it's just the lade back atmosphere at the this U haul store & that it was just me being anxious to take on the task that awaited me. The staff was friendly and fun from beginning to end which in turn eased my anxiety.

Rodolfo GGave me a truck that leaked gas and had a messed up battery and engine as well we broke down 4 times paid out of pocket 4 times and they had to come out and switch the battery never get a uhal.
VICTORIA AThe truck wasn't maintained very well. The service warning for the Insta Trac comes on and stays on when it has been runn6for at least 20 minutes. The engine cover inside the cab is not attached properly and had been caulked at one time to try to repair it. This made the interior very noisy for a 6 1/2 hour trip...my ears are still ringing. The radio was terrible, at least the "speaker" is. I wound up turning it off as it contributed to the overall noise decibel level. The U Haul app absolutely SUCKS! I tried for over an hour to get my access code to no avail. I didn't get the truck until 3 hours after my original pickup time. I WILL NOT be using U Haul ever again unless I can deal with a human being for the rental process!

Scott HThis location was great. Very helpful, friendly and understanding of the corporate U-Hauls shortcomings. I say that because this was the third location I had to visit to pickup a trailer that was originally scheduled to be picked up at 9:00am. I arrived at that U-Haul on University and told they didn't have my trailer and sent me to Southside Ave. I arrived at Southside and after waiting 1 hour I was told they also do no have a trailer until 2pm. They located one at Rent Wise I had them call confirm it was there and I was a finally able to get my trailer at 10:45. As bad as this was for me there were at least 6 people behind me at the Southside location in the same boat. Reservation system needs works.

Chris PWell, you can be honest and let people know that you will be charging for insurance and disclosure that information before renting to them. before. The Vehicle was not cleaned and you rented it with a Dent On the side of the vehicle which i pushed it out, from the inside of the van. I was very surprised that I was charged for something that I didn't have the option nor was it talk about in the beginning ( insurance) And then when I call you about it to discuss why . You pretty much told me to take it up with Corporate office because you're a private dealer. And you can pretty much do that Without telling the customer. The way you guys handle, it was very unprofessional. I'm not leaving the matter alone and I'm very disappointed.
Doninic Rthe "uhaul guy" called out and so the location was closed. the location being a single office inside a musty furniture store. they didn't let any of their reservations know that the location was closed. in their defense, they did manage to help me... only because they found the guy's log-in info on a sticky note. this branch reflects poorly on Uhaul and cost me about an hour and some frustration that I didn't have the luxury to waste that day. fix this.

Kareem WOn Saturday 4/13, location was about to close, I called and asked if I could still drop it off given I was almost 10 minutes away, the employee said he would wait for me to get there. I showed up and he had closed the entire location and left. I was stuck on the phone with customer service for almost an hour in the parking lot trying to return the trailer myself due to the UHaul employee lying saying he would be at location, and then abandoned the store

James MMake sure the equipment has proper/ legal license plates. Making an on-line reservation was a nightmare. U-Haul was SUPPOSED to transfer a piece of equipment to the local U-Haul dealer (Company store on Normandy Blvd in Jax, FL). Instead we had to drive to this one.

Marc VThese guys are great! As long as I live in Jacksonville this is the only u haul I will use! The staff is awesome, so friendly and accommodating they will go above and beyond to help you not bc they have to for work but bc they are genuinely nice people. They have really nice furniture too!

ALEXANDER LUpon returning the truck I was charged a change in location fee, when I was told by the representative that he couldn’t change the location on his end so I would just have to call any uhaul location to return the truck.
