My experience was BEYOND poor. I spent 50$ extra for insurance, that apparently didn't cover the 5$ insurance of a key. My driver mistakenly took the keys after moving to our distinction 6 hours away, which I then needed to pay 100$ to overnight fedex quickly, then I got charged another 60+$ for the late fee. I spent countless phone calls on the phone but because the 5$ insurance ABOVE the 50$ insurance ( small print ) that I didn't purchase for the ONE WAY of already 330+$ I had an absolutely nightmare and was just tossed from person the person on the phone with absolutely zero answer on the issue. I was told from dispatch I could ask for a universal key, but then from the desk at return location that doesn't exist etc etc. HORRIBLE experience. I have used uhaul before but I definitely will be looking else where from now on.BRANDEN L.

I was supposed to originally pick up the vehicle at a different location but the previous rentor never returned it on time. So I was instructed to go to this location with no compensation for the change. I had to get my sick mother to drop me off since I was informed just minutes before the designated pick up time. When I was there, I had a long wait before the cashier got another to help me. That second cashier (older gentleman) wasn't even wearing his mask properly, mask worn under his nose. If I ever need UHaul again, after my 2 experiences these past 2 weekends, I would definitely look to see if there is any other company that provides these services. I felt no care for the customer and no follow up of cleaning the interiors if the previous rentor failed to clean the insides.Joshua R.
Have trucks available in the location of the dealer. I had to travel from Bracebridge to Sudbury to pick up my truck. It was a little inconvenient and took a 8 hour trip.DENNIS H.

I brought the rental a day earlier, i rented for 2 days but only use it for 1 day i didn't much back for early return. The rental was dirty and ashes all overTERRYMJ R.
Every time i book a truck the past 3 or 4 times. Some one changes my rental. I.e if I book a 20' its down sized to a Van or a 10'. Not kewl. I book what I need for the job. Its not up to someone behind a COMPUTER to change, the size of the truck or durration of my move. Also if I book for 10+ hours of use, again the person behind the computer shouldnt change it to 3 or 4 hours. So moving forward, if I book a 20 foot truck for 10+ hours LEAVE IT BE. I can deal with haveing to go to another location for the equipment but dont play with my bookingsMICHAELJAMES B.

The handle on the passenger side was broken but not identified as such when I rented the vehicle and it could have been a problem had I not taken the safe move insurance. However, the staff were kind and helpful. Further, I had, in fact, reserved the vehicle at a different location and when I arrived there, it was not available even though the website guaranteed that it would be. I do not blame the location but rather find fault with U-haul's online systemHENRIJOSEPH L.

Your U-Haul website tells you your reservation is "Guaranteed" but when I phoned the U-Haul branch location in Sudbury, ON to actually confirm that the trailer would be there for Friday September 17, 2021, I was told it was not actually confirmed, and I might have to pick-up the trailer,at a different location, which is false advertising !Craig V.

When I picked up truck - interior of cab smelled like someone had smoked in it - but truck was clean and customer service was goodJAMES Y.
The cab was not cleaned prior to pick up. They were quite well organized but only had 9 blankets available. Made up for this in other ways. Seemed to have lots of other moving inventory which is a good thing. Overall a pretty decent experience.JOANNE L.

I needed to contact U-Haul and called the 800 number on my paperwork. I was then informed I had to contact another number to deal with my issue. I tried contacting the new number 14 times over a 2-day period but there was never any answer. Not once! I contacted the 800 number again and was again told to contact the number I had been trying, which was unhelpful. Although continuing to make contact I was unsuccessful. This resulted in additional charges to me for a situation that was beyond my control. I believe the additional charges incurred are unfair under the circumstances.BLAKE G W.

I was originally to pick up at Tommy's Car Wash. At 3:15pm on a Thursday there was no one there and no one answering my calls. I was not impressed. However someone at U Haul was able to move my reservation to Rent N Sell All, and they were amazing. Quick, courteous, and professional.David C.
