Then you changed our drop off points twice on us! And of course didn't care one bit but sure did take our money in a hurry! Horrible customer service and a clear don't care attitude!

The morning of pickup, I went to the Minooka location and they were closed. I had to go Uhaul to inquire and was told I had to go to Shorewood to pick up. That wasn't my time and prevented me from getting back in time to meet my movers.

It did not go well on the customer friendly to use app. I do not like business think it is ok to use my smart phone and assume its to help their business and you are forced to put an app on your phone. That is my phone and it should not have to be used for a business. I do not like the not doing business with a person. Next it will be AI rep on the phone. I maybe going to budget rental from now on. I took 3 hours of my own time to rent the truck and made it much harder to get what I needed done. Why have a rental place if only open for a couple of hours. I could have rented down the street from me if I wanted to do the work of an employee. I was not told this was a self check out. I paid more in milage for no reason. I could not beleive it was a self check out. You had to know to try moving a screen in a different direction to get the screen to show everything. The app worked very slow and did not have error messages to guide you. It is not right

mark H.I did 3 services in 1. I rented a uhaul, a storage unit and hired movers. The uhaul and storage unit were quite a drive from my home and both locations were a bit of a distance. A closer proximity between the 3 places would have made it a better experience. There was also confusion as to where I would be picking up the uhaul/ and rental unit, so I went and my movers ended up going to 20555 frontage Road because of the discrepancy.

This is simply In unacceptable, I had to submit license several times, apparently it timed out and I was never notified and had to start all over again, the fact that this happened is also unacceptable, and that I had to provide a third party phone for verification and wait on that process was again unacceptable. Then amount of time that was wasted on this incredibly frustrating technologically flawed app will have me looking into other truck rentals. I exclusively used U-Haul in the past and had very few issues, customer service was fantastic. I can only come to the conclusion that the company now puts profit ahead of all else, tells me that accounts are on the board. This whole experience was very disappointing.

Desperately needing the moving pads for fragile antique furniture, I was told sorry we have none with any of the trucks here claiming they were all in Arizona. So in other words, this rental place needs to have corporate stock them with moving blankets for each truck and extra to rent if need be.

Edward S.The rental was a waste of time and money. The loaders never showed up. Instead of going to Waterman, Illinois they mistakenly went to Schererville, Indiana. They went 89 miles out of their way. Now let's forget they had GPS, the mere fact that they were driving with their backs to the sun would conclusively prove they were going East not West! A 10th grader knows this. So I rented the truck, bought a few supplies then waited HOURS for them to show up in Waterman.After being several hours late they finally called and said they couldn't find the address and we spent about 15 minutes with me trying to describe how to find me in a small, one traffic light town with a single main downtown street before we concluded they weren't in Waterman! What a monumental waste of my money and time! U-Haul had them on their available loaders list. They should be removed immediately. I will be talking to my attorney about this fiasco.

James M.I originally had rented a truck in Channahon, then received a text that I would get a phone call (never happened), then a text saying the location changed (which increased my cost to rent by about $30 due to longer travel distance from home). I rented blankets and a furniture Dolly, but neither were available that day from the new location, so I had to go to Home Depot to purchase blankets and a dolly, which also increased my mileage costs. The truck had some type of insulation residue in it, which I had to sweep out before loading my contents. Prior experiences I've had with U-Haul were great. This experience was not great. The person at the I-Haul pick up location was pleasant and apologetic.

Some people don't like dirty hands. Otherwise a fantastic group of people to deal with. I have rented quite a few trailers from here, always satisfied.
