Will find a friend with a dang trailer to move ya next time! After being quoted 80 bucks for the 2 days of having the truck -ended paying 217 after it was said and done! A RIP OFF AND OVER PRICED!!!!!!!! Never using U-Haul again.

When renting a trailer, U Haul should advise you that you need to bring the adapter to hook up the lights with you. Newer trucks don't have the 4 prong connectors anymore. Luckily the owner had a personal one and sold it to me. JP

This folks undid what was turning into a bad u-haul experience. The local dealers do an excellent job of trying to smooth over poor business practices of the larger u-haul company. Its because of businesses like Regional Auto Sales that u-haul can stay in business. I was supposed to pick up my truck two blocks from my house. Imagine my surprise when the u-haul company called me the morning before and informed me I would need to drive an hour just to get the truck. No reimbursement for my time or fuel. Poor business model. Thanks to Regional Auto Sales staff for their professionalism and excellent customer service.

Very nice owners. During the reservation process, the Uhaul representative I reached gave me incorrect information about the hours of the location. Their website showed the correct hours but the representative assured me that they were open longer hours which was not correct. As I suspected the website was correct, I checked to confirm the representative was not correct.

I used the web/phone version of renting the vehicle. It would be great if you could prepare the customer it will take 15 mins or so to complete the check-out of the vehicle. I missed the portion on the email confirmation that stated I needed to have my Passport, work verification, rental lease (we own, not rent) or 2 persons verification. This process took me by surprise and delayed us getting the vehicle checked out on time. It was a weekend, so no work people could verify, I don't carry my Passport and didn't check the email till I was at the center, I own my home and don't carry around any documents verifying.

The man did not tell us how much gas was in the truck and we got to it and it had half a tank and filled it up of how we found it and still charged us $31 penalty fee.

i rented one way,for a one hour move. my dropoff location was 40 minutes away,making my return time 1 hour and forty minutes. no help at all. There were closer locations. It is not the customers job to re position your trucks. im totally unhappy i relocate regularly,and need better service.

Getting the trailer was great. Had to have a trailer hitch installed. Your customer service scheduled a trailer hitch installation on Wards road for 2 and was told they were short handed and couldn’t do it. He then drove to Roanoke and was told they couldn’t do it but finally did it. They said the scheduler did not check with them.

The U-Haul located at Regional Auto Sales is run and operated by John and Roxanne Taylor. They are great people. The truck and equipment was ready for me. The checkout process was flawless. A great experience. I recommend them for all of your U-Haul needs

By far the best rental experience - would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Very smooth and quick customer service. The equipment we initially rented turned out not to work well with our car. The owner stayed beyond closing hours, swapped out our equipment at no additional cost, and made sure everything worked perfectly for our move. Saved the day

Reserved on-line to speed the process. Unfortunately there was a computer glitch that delayed it. The winner was very apologetic. This is my first time renting a U-Haul, and I won’t hold it against you.

My 10 Hour Dr. ended up with 13 1/2 hour drive because the truck was a piece of shit that could barely climb the mountains in Virginia and West Virginia ran like hell guzzled gas the last truck that wasn't any better are used $150 in gas this when I used $225 roughly and gas for the same damn trip I should get a partial or full refund on my rental that cost me on godly time and stress

The only problem we had was that we ordered a 17' Uhaul and when we got there it ended up being a 26' truck and my husband really didn't want to drive one that big. That was the only problem. The gentleman that waited on us was very nice.

I requested a specific location. I was told to pick-up across town at another location. On the day of, I was told that location was out of the trailer I reserved and was sent back to my original requested location. After 40 minutes working with the rep and UHaul on the phone, they figured out how to check out a trailer to me all be it bigger than I wanted or needed. Once the online folks fixed their mess, we went outside and the office did not have the trailer the online folks said they had. Off to my third location to get the too big trailer that I needed. The pick-up took two hours and three offices. Unsat. Each individual office was fine, the Downtown Lynchburg office is staffed with excellent and very helpful people. It is always my preferred location. The online schedule just messes everything up. I fee sorry for the workers in the store.
